At 3:40 pm, our selection is on the Oklahoma City Thunder minus the points over Dallas.  We played on Oklahoma City on Friday night vs. Milwaukee, and will come right back with the Thunder today.  OKC has won four straight games, and needs to win today to lock down the #1 seed in the West (though there's a remote possibility OKC would not be seeded #1 if it and Minnesota wins, and Denver loses).  OKC is 51-30 ATS at home its last 81, including 11-3 ATS as a double-digit favorite.  Take the Thunder.

At 8:10 pm, our selection is on the Oklahoma City Thunder minus the points over the Milwaukee Bucks.  The Thunder, Nuggets and Timberwolves are currently locked in a tight battle for the top seed in the Western Conference.  OKC is currently the #3 seed, so this is a must-win game.  Likewise, the Bucks can fall from the #2 seed to the #4 seed if they drop their last two games, so they're incentivized to win.  Unfortunately, Giannis Antetokounmpo is currently sidelined with a calf injury, and Damian Lillard is also unlikely to play tonight.  So, the Bucks have been installed as a huge underdog at Oklahoma City.  That doesn't bode well for Doc Rivers' crew, as Milwaukee is 14-37 ATS when getting more than 2 points.  Even worse:  the Thunder play tonight with revenge from a 25-point loss at Milwaukee last month.  And OKC is 54-30 ATS when playing with revenge vs. an Eastern Conference foe, provided such foe won its previous game.  Lay the points.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 10:40 pm, our selection is on the Phoenix Suns minus the points over the Los Angeles Clippers.  Last night, the Suns were buried early by the Clippers, as they trailed 53-16 midway through the 2nd quarter, and 66-33 at the half.  That brought back memories of another Phoenix no-show when it lost at home (as a 6.5-point favorite) in Game 7 of the 2022 playoffs to Dallas, 123-90 -- a game which it trailed, 57-27 at the half.  If there's a silver lining for the Suns, it is that they will have a chance to redeem themselves tonight (which they didn't have in that Game 7 loss).  Phoenix is 44-11 ATS vs. unrested division foes with a win percentage > .400, if Phoenix wasn't getting 5+ points.  And the Suns are also 63-34 ATS when favored, and playing with revenge from a home upset defeat.  Lay the points.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 10:10 pm, our selection is on the Denver Nuggets minus the points over Minnesota.  The Nuggets, T-Wolves, and Thunder are locked in a tight battle for the #1 seed in the Western Conference, so this game will go a long way toward determining the seeds in this year's Playoffs.  The Nuggets lost here, at home, to Minnesota, 111-98, last month, so the Nuggs will play with revenge from that 13-point defeat.  And the T-Wolves are a terrible 35-68 ATS in match-ups between .500 (or better) teams when their opponent was playing with revenge from a loss by more than 8 points.  Take Denver.

At 7:40 pm, our selection is on the Brooklyn Nets minus the points over the Toronto Raptors.  The Raptors were blown out last night, 140-123, by the Indiana Pacers.  That was Toronto's final home game of the season, and they'll conclude their schedule with three road games starting with tonight's tilt at Brooklyn.  The Nets will play tonight's game with 2 days' of rest, and this will be their final home game.  They'll be looking to redeem themselves from a 30-point home loss to Sacramento on Sunday, and I think they'll get it.  Indeed, since 1990, NBA favorites of -9 (or more) points have covered 78% in their final home game of the season, if they were off a loss by 9+ points, and their opponent was unrested.  Take Brooklyn.

At 7:30 pm, our selection is on the Milwaukee Bucks over the Boston Celtics.  The Bucks have shockingly lost their last four games -- all as a favorite -- and are now just one game ahead of the Orlando Magic for the #2 seed.  Tonight, the Bucks will welcome the top-seeded Celtics.  When these two teams last met here, in Milwaukee, the Bucks dealt the Celts their worst defeat of the season, 135-102.  Milwaukee is 91-50 ATS in the regular season off back to back losses.  Take the Bucks.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 9:20 pm, our selection is on the Purdue Boilermakers + the points over the Connecticut Huskies.  Similar to the 2021 championship game between Baylor and Gonzaga, which pitted the top two teams in the country, this is the match-up that most basketball aficionados wanted to see.  Connecticut is the defending champion, and has gone 11-0 SU/ATS in the NCAA Tournament the past two seasons.  And Purdue has Zach Edey, the best NCAA Basketball player for the past two seasons.  There's no doubt that UConn is the better team, with its five starters all projected to go among the top 44 players drafted in the upcoming NBA draft (with Donovan Clingan projected at #14, and Stephon Castle at #8).  But I believe Purdue is uniquely positioned to give the Huskies a supreme battle.  The Boilers combine the interior play of 7'4" Edey with outside marksmen that ranked #2 (of 362 NCAA teams) in three-point FG percentage this season, at 40.8%.  Dating back to 1991, this is the 18th NCAA Tournament game between two #1 seeds.  The underdog has gone 10-7 in the prior match-ups, including a perfect 4-0 ATS when getting 7+ points.  Also, Purdue has generally delivered as an underdog, as it's 9-2-1 ATS its last 12 when getting 1.5 (or more) points.  The Boilermakers fall into 48-11, 20-2, 26-5 and 88-48 ATS systems of mine, and we'll grab the points with Matt Painter's men.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 6:10 pm, our selection is on the Orlando Magic minus the points over the Chicago Bulls.  The Magic suffered a brutal loss to the Charlotte Hornets, as they fell, 124-115, at Charlotte as a 12-point road favorite, on Friday. Still, the Magic are the league's best point spread team this season, with a 49-27-1 ATS record, including 25-9 ATS as a favorite.  We'll take the Magic to bounce back this evening.  Lay the points.

At 6:05 pm, on Saturday, our selection is on the NC State Wolfpack + the points over Purdue.  The Wolfpack have been the best point spread team in this tournament, as they've covered the point spread by an average of 13.37 ppg.  Even better, the Wolfpack have won nine straight games, including a perfect 7-0 SU/ATS as an underdog.  And those included ACC Tourney victories over Duke (as an 11-point underdog), and North Carolina (as a 10-point dog).  They blew out Marquette and Duke (again), as 7.5-point underdogs in each game, last weekend in the Sweet 16/Elite 8 Rounds to reach this semi-final game.  It's true that Purdue was my preseason pick (at 15-1 odds) to win the Championship.  And Purdue was also the team I selected to win this tournament in my March Madness bracket.  But the last thing I want to do is lay points to this NC State club.  For technical support, consider that teams seeded #4 (or worse), off 4+ wins, have gone 15-0 ATS their last 15 as underdogs vs. top-3-seeded teams at the Sweet 16 Round forward.  Take North Carolina St.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 8:40 pm, our selection is on the Dallas Mavericks minus the points over Golden State.  Both of these teams played Thursday night.  The Warriors blew out Houston, 133-110, at the Toyota Center, while Dallas won here, at home, vs. Atlanta, 109-95.  This is a rematch of a game played Tuesday in San Francisco.  We played on Golden State in its 104-100 triumph over Dallas, but will fade the Warriors on the road tonight.  The Warriors have covered just 7 of 27 road games vs. revenge-minded foes when Golden State was installed as an underdog, and off a SU/ATS win.  Meanwhile, the Mavs are 46-27 ATS their last 73 games when playing with revenge, including 12-1 ATS when the Mavs were off a win by 12+ points.  Take Dallas.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 7 pm, on Thursday, in the NIT Tournament, our selection is on the Indiana St. Sycamores minus the points over Seton Hall.  We played on both the Pirates and Sycamores in their respective semi-final games, and got the $$$ with each.  We will roll with Indiana St. in this championship game, as it will be playing in front of a very home-friendly crowd in Indianapolis -- just 84 miles from Terre Haute.  Indiana St. erupted for 100 points on Tuesday night vs. Utah, and that bodes well for it in this title game, as it has gone 60-31-2 ATS following a victory where it scored more than 78 points.  Meanwhile, the Pirates have played much better at home this season than away from home, as they've covered the spread by 3.67 ppg at home, but have failed to cover by 1.88 ppg away from home, going 6-10 ATS.  We'll lay the points with Indiana St.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 7:40 pm, our selection is on the Milwaukee Bucks minus the points over the Memphis Grizzlies.  The Bucks were favored by 13 points last night, yet lost outright to the woeful Washington Wizards, 117-113.  That dropped Milwaukee's lead over Cleveland to 1.5 games in the race for the #2 seed in the Eastern Conference.  Milwaukee's last five games will be against top-level NBA clubs, so it needs to take care of business tonight (and Friday) vs. two bottom-tier teams (Grizzlies, Raptors).  Over the last 34 seasons, home favorites have covered 71% if they lost outright as a double-digit favorite the previous day, and were matched up against a foe off a win.  With Memphis, indeed, off a 110-108 victory over the Pistons, we'll fade Memphis, and lay the points with Milwaukee on Wednesday.

At 10 pm, our selection is on the Golden State Warriors over Dallas.  The Mavs are on an 11-1 SU/ATS win streak, but we'll fade them here, at Golden State.  The Warriors play with revenge from not 1, but 2 losses earlier this season to Dallas.  And Dallas is a dreadful 27-54 ATS off a win, if it was playing a revenge-minded foe with a .333 (or better) win percentage.  Additionally, the Warriors are 66-32 ATS at home when not laying 9+ points, if they were matched up against a .400 (or better) foe.  Take the Warriors to blow out Dallas.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 9:30 pm, our selection is on the Seton Hall Pirates minus the points over Georgia.  The Pirates' last game was a 23-point blowout of UNLV, as a 6.5-point cover.  And that 23-point win was the biggest margin of victory by any team so far in this NIT Tournament.  And its 16.5-point cover was the 2nd biggest point spread margin.  We'll ride the Pirates off that huge game, as they're 27-4 ATS following a game where they covered the spread by 12+ points, if they were matched up against a foe off a SU win in their current game (including a perfect 10-0 ATS as a favorite).  Lay the points.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 7:10 pm, our selection is on the Toronto Raptors + the points over the Los Angeles Lakers.  The Raptors have managed just one win in their last 16 games, while covering just three times.  But I like Toronto getting double-digits at home tonight vs. a Lakers team playing the first of back-to-back games.  The Lakers are a soft 18-40 ATS when favored off a SU/ATS win, including 3-12 ATS on the road.  And they're 36-64-2 ATS when laying double-digits.  Meanwhile, the Raptors fall into one of my favorite NBA systems, which is 229-138-8 ATS, which plays on certain teams off back-to-back SU/ATS losses.  Take the Raptors + the points.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 7 pm, in the NIT Tournament, on Tuesday, our selection is on the Indiana State Sycamores minus the points over the Utah Utes.  This game will be played at Hinkle Fieldhouse, on the campus of Butler University, in Indianapolis -- just 84 miles from Terre Haute.  So, expect a crowd squarely in the Sycamores' corner.  We'll lay the points with Indiana St, and go against a Utah team which has had its problems away from home.  The Utes earned their trip to the NIT semifinals with 3 home wins, and they covered the spread in each by 11.5, 4 and 1.5 points.  For the season, Utah went 18-2 SU and 14-6 ATS at home, and covered the point spread by an average of 6.17 ppg.  Unfortunately, it was a completely different story away from Salt Lake City, as Utah went 4-12 SU, 5-11 ATS, and FAILED to cover the point spread by an average of 4.73 ppg.  And Utah's road travails haven't been just this season.  Dating back to 2019, they're 17-51 SU and 21-46-1 ATS away from home, and failed to cover by an average of 4.59 ppg.  Indiana State, meanwhile, has held its own away from home, with a 15-5 SU record, and a 10-10 ATS record.  And it's covered the spread, on average, by 1.21 ppg away from home.  Lay the points.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 7:10 pm, our selection is on the Portland Trail Blazers + the points over the Orlando Magic.  The Blazers were blown out by 60 points, 142-82, in their most recent game.  And that was just the 7th time a team has lost by 60+ points over the past 34 seasons.  Teams off huge blowout losses > 40 points tend to play much better their next game, and have gone 113-87-3 ATS, including 61-37-2 ATS on the road.  Take Portland + the points.

At 7:10 pm, our selection is on the Memphis Grizzlies + the points over the Detroit Pistons.  Detroit defeated Washington, 96-87, on Friday.  We'll fade the Pistons tonight, as they're a wallet-breaking 4-23 ATS at home off a win by more than 5 points.  Even worse:  the Pistons are 6-21-1 ATS their last 28 vs. Memphis, including 0-12 ATS when Detroit was not getting more than 4 points.  Here, of course, the Pistons are a favorite.  Take Memphis + the points.

At 7:10 pm, our selection is on the New York Knicks minus the points over Oklahoma City.  The Knicks were an 8.5-point favorite on Friday night vs. San Antonio, but lost in overtime, 130-126, despite 61 points from Jalen Brunson.  We'll take New York to bounce back at home off that upset defeat, as it's 19-3 ATS when not laying 4.5 (or more) points, if it lost its previous game as a favorite of more than 8 points.  Even better:  the Knicks are 14-1 ATS their last 14 (and 30-10 ATS their last 40) when playing with revenge from a loss earlier in the season, and favored by less than 10 points.  With the Knicks, indeed, playing with revenge from a 129-120 setback in Oklahoma City, we'll lay the short number with New York this evening.  Good luck, as always....Al McMordie.

Admittedly, the Huskies are deserving of their #1 ranking.  They've won and covered all three NCAA Tourney games, including a 30-point blowout of San Diego State on Thursday.  But top-3-seeded favorites of more than 5 points have gone 0-10 ATS at the Sweet 16 Round forward, off a cover by more than 7 points, if they were matched up against a foe off an upset win.  That certainly doesn't bode well for UConn this evening against an excellent Illinois team checking in off an upset win over the Big 12 Tourney champs, Iowa St.  The Illini, for their part, won the Big 10 Conference tournament, and have now won 10 of 11 games, including their last seven in a row.  And they've covered 5 straight.  Here, they've been installed as a huge underdog vs. the defending champion Huskies.  And we'll happily grab the points, as top-3-seeded teams have gone a perfect 7-0 ATS as underdogs of 8+ points, dating back to March 28, 1998.  Moreover, since the Big 10 started its post-season tourney, its champs have been terrific as underdogs in the NCAA Tournament, as they've gone 10-5 ATS, including a perfect 3-0 ATS in the Elite 8 Round.  Likewise, the Illini have been stellar as underdogs this season, going 5-1-1 ATS.  And they're 21-10-1 ATS their last 32 as underdogs, including a perfect 6-0-1 ATS when getting 6 or more points.  Finally, this season, the Illini have gone 14-4 ATS away from home, and have covered the spread in those 18 games by an average of 6 ppg (UConn has not done as well away from home, as it's covered the spread by an average of 2.43 ppg).  Take the Illini.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 7:35 pm, on Friday, in the NCAA Tournament, our selection is on the Purdue Boilermakers minus the points over Gonzaga.  The Boilermakers were my preseason Futures pick to win the NCAA Title (at 15-1 odds), and they've done nothing to reduce my confidence.  We played on the Boilers in their opening round game vs. Grambling, and got the $$$ in their 28-point win, but we stayed on the sidelines in their 39-point blowout win over Utah St.  We'll jump back in and lay the points with Purdue against Gonzaga, as NCAA teams that won their first two tourney games by a combined 55+ points have covered 67% since 1990 in the Tournament's Sweet 16 Round.  Gonzaga also won its two tourney games in blowout fashion by 21 points each.  Unfortunately, it's an ugly 1-10-1 ATS its last 12 games after back-to-back wins by 15+ points.  These two teams met earlier this season, and Purdue handed the Zags a 10-point loss, 73-63.  The Boilers are 10-2-1 ATS in their last 13 non-conference games, while Gonzaga is 19-31-1 ATS in its last 51 non-conference games, including 0-11 ATS vs. non-conference foes on 2-game or better) ATS win streaks.  Take the Boilermakers.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 7:10 pm, our selection is on the Indiana Pacers minus the points over the Los Angeles Lakers.  These two teams met in the inaugural In-season Tournament's championship game.  Los Angeles won that match-up, and the teams' 2nd meeting of the season -- five days ago -- as well.  So, the Pacers will play this game with double-revenge from those two losses.  We'll fade the Lakers, who have won their last 5 games, and covered their last three, as they're 103-140 ATS in the regular season off back to back SU/ATS wins.  Additionally, the Pacers are 157-93-10 ATS when playing with revenge, if they were rested, and off a SU loss, while their opponent was off a SU win.  Take Indiana minus the points.

At 7:40 pm, our selection is on the Boston Celtics minus the points over the Atlanta Hawks.  Three nights ago, the Hawks upset Boston here, at home, 120-118, as an 11-point home underdog.  We'll take the Celtics to avenge that defeat, as road favorites have gone 42-19-2 ATS when laying 8.5 (or more) points against the same foe they played in their previous game.  Even better:  NBA favorites of more than 9 points have gone 59-40-2 ATS if they were playing with revenge against an opponent which upset it in its previous game, including 17-3 ATS if its opponent was playing without rest.  And Atlanta is, indeed, unrested, as it played last night vs. Portland.  Take Boston minus the points.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 7:35 pm, on Thursday, in the NCAA Tournament, our selection is on the San Diego St. Aztecs + the points over Connecticut.  This is a rematch of last year's championship game, won by UConn, 76-59.  Both teams come into this game off big wins.  UConn defeated Northwestern, 75-58, while San Diego State blew out Yale, 85-57.  We'll take Brian Dutcher's men as double-digit dogs, as the Aztecs are a spectacular 102-49-2 ATS off a win by 14+ points, if they weren't favored by more than 10 points, including 46-15-1 ATS vs. foes with a W/L percentage > .750.  And they're 44-22-1 ATS after scoring 85+ points.  Finally, the Aztecs are 56-29-2 ATS on neutral courts, or at home, when playing with revenge.  Take San Diego St. + the points.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 7:40 pm, our selection is on the Los Angeles Clippers minus the points over Philadelphia.  These two teams played last weekend, and the Sixers upset the Clippers, 121-107, as a 9.5-point road underdog.  We'll take Los Angeles to avenge that home upset defeat, as it's covered 65.2% the past 34 seasons as a road favorite, if it owned a W/L percentage > .600 and was playing with revenge from a home loss.  The Clippers are also 77-47 ATS in the regular season as a favorite of 3+ points when playing with revenge from a loss by more than 5 points.  Lay the points.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 7 pm, on Wednesday, in the NIT Tournament, our selection is on the Seton Hall Pirates minus the points over UNLV.  Since its founding in 1999, the Mountain West Conference teams have had stark results in post-season tournaments depending on whether they were playing at home, or away from home.  At home, the Mountain West has been great vs. non-conference foes, as its teams have gone 32-20 ATS.  But away from home, it's been a different story, as the Mountain West has gone 50-92-2 ATS.  The Big East Conference has also dominated the Mountain West in the post-season, going 12-3 ATS.  Lay the points with Seton Hall.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. 

At 7 pm, in the CIT Tournament championship game, our selection is on the Norfolk State Spartans + the points over Purdue-Fort Wayne.  The Spartans will play at home in this Title game, and have been installed as an underdog vs. the Mastodons.  Fort Wayne is a wallet-breaking 14-22-2 ATS its last 38 as road favorites.  And it's 1-10 ATS its last 11 as a road favorite vs. a foe off a straight-up win.  Finally, the Mastodons are 0-4 ATS on the road in the post-season when not getting more than 5 points.  Take the points with Norfolk in this CIT Tournament title game.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 10:10 pm, our selection is on the Sacramento Kings minus the points over Philadelphia.  The Sixers upset the LA Clippers last night, 121-107, as 9-point underdog.  They've once again been installed as a big dog, and we'll fade them today at Sacramento, as they're a soft 26-43 ATS as road underdogs of more than 4 points vs. winning foes (including 1-9 ATS if playing without rest).  Additionally, the Sixers fall into a negative 75-155 ATS system of mine which fades certain unrested teams off SU wins.  Lay the points with the Kings.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 4:30 pm, our selection is on the Chicago State Cougars + the points over Fairfield.  The Cougars come into this game off an upset win over UC San Diego, as a 10-point underdog.  We'll take the Cougars this afternoon and fade a Stags team which has gone 30-45 ATS its last 75 as a favorite.  And when matched up against a foe off a SU win, the Stags have gone 28-53-2 ATS their last 83, including 5-11-1 ATS in the post-season.  Take Chicago State + the points.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 9:40 pm, our selection is on the San Diego State Aztecs minus the points over Yale.  We played on the Bulldogs Friday vs. Auburn, and were rewarded with 78-76 win, as a 14.5-point underdog.  Unfortunately for Yale, it's not getting double-digits today.  And teams seeded 13 thru 16 have cashed just 24.2% in the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament when priced from +4.5 to +9 points.  We'll fade the Bulldogs, and lay the points with SDSU.

At 7:45 pm, our selection is on the Northwestern Wildcats + the points over Connecticut.  Chris Collins' men have been installed as a double-digit dog vs. the defending champion Huskies.  We'll grab the points, as NCAA tourney teams not seeded #16 have gone 65-43 ATS vs. foes off back to back ATS wins.  Additionally, the Wildcats are 17-6 ATS their last 23 as an underdog.  Take Northwestern.

At 7:10 pm, our selection is on the Alabama Crimson Tide minus the points over Grand Canyon.  The Crimson Tide have been great over the last couple of seasons as a favorite, and horrible as an underdog.  When laying points, 'Bama is 29-16-2 ATS its last 47.  But in the underdog role, it's failed miserably, going 1-9 SU and 2-8 ATS its last 10.  The good news, then, for Nate Oats men is that they're favored this evening vs. the Antelopes.  Take the Crimson Tide.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 5:30 pm, in the CBI Tournament, our selection is on the Evansville Purple Aces + the points over Quinnipiac.  The Bobcats lost to St. Peters, 62-60, in the Metro Atlantic Tourney, and finished with a 24-9 record.  Unfortunately, for the Bobcats, they're a wallet-busting 17-34-2 ATS as a favorite following a straight-up loss.  And they're a poor 4-13 ATS in post-season games when they've owned a win percentage > .450.  Meanwhile, Evansville has gone 9-2-1 ATS its last 12 non-conference games.  And Missouri Valley teams have been strong in the CBI Tourney, going 19-11 ATS.  Grab the points with Evansville.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 3:10 pm, our selection is on the Detroit Pistons + the points over the New Orleans Pelicans.  New Orleans went into Miami on Friday night, and blew out the Heat, 111-88, as a 3-point road underdog.  But off that huge upset win, we'll fade the Pelicans in the Motor City this afternoon.  New Orleans is 1-15 ATS off a double-digit road win, and 20-42 ATS away from home off an upset win by 10+ points.  Take Detroit.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 2 pm, in the NIT Tournament, our selection is on the Indiana St. Sycamores minus the points over Minnesota.  After narrowly missing the NCAA Tournament, the Sycamores showed they wanted to win this NIT Tourney with a strong victory (101-92) over SMU, on Wednesday.  Indiana State is back home for this game against the Gophers.  And Indiana State is 22-2 SU and 20-4 ATS at home off a straight-up win.  Lay the points.

At 1:00 pm, in the CBI Tournament, our selection is on the Presbyterian Blue Hose + the points over Montana.  Presbyterian played very well down the stretch, going 9-3-1 ATS their last 13 games.  The Grizzlies certainly had a good season, with a 21-10 record.  However, the Blue Hose has gone 25-16-3 ATS their last 44 vs. winning opponents, including a perfect 10-0 ATS when priced from +7.5 to +11.5.  Take Presbyterian + the points.

At 9:40 pm, our selection is on the Creighton Bluejays minus the points over Oregon.  The Ducks exploded for 87 points in their 87-73 win over South Carolina.  And that was the most points Oregon has scored in its last 20 games.  But off that win, we'll fade the Ducks, as they're 8-19 ATS off a high-scoring win, in which they tallied 85+ points.  And they're also 4-13 ATS as an underdog, priced from +2 to +8, off a SU win.  Meanwhile, Creighton is a stellar 37-14 ATS as a favorite of 8 or less points vs. non-conference foes off a win.  Lay the points with the Bluejays.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 8:10 pm, our selection is on the Toronto Raptors + the points over the Washington Wizards.  We played on the Wizards two nights ago, as an 11-point home dog vs. Sacramento, and were rewarded with a 109-102 upset win.  That triumph snapped Washington's 4-game SU/ATS losing streak.  But tonight, it's the Raptors who will be looking to get back into the win column.  Toronto has now lost its last 9 games, and has failed to cover the spread in their last five.  But this losing streak has triggered a 242-153-6 ATS system of mine, as well as a 154-95-6 ATS system.  The Wizards are a woeful 26-45-1 ATS as a favorite of 6 (or more) points.  And favorites (or PK'em teams) off upset wins as a home dog of +9 (or more) points, have covered just 29.4% since 1990 vs. foes off SU/ATS losses.  Take Toronto.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 6:10 pm, our selection is on the Washington State Cougars + the points over Iowa State.  We played on Wazzu on Thursday, and got the $$$ when the Cougars upset Drake.  They'll try to make it two-upsets-in-a-row this evening when they take on the Big 12 champion Cyclones.  Iowa State comes into this game off four SU/ATS wins.  Unfortunately, it's a dreadful 7-23-2 ATS away from home when on a 4-game (or better) ATS win streak, including 1-11-1 ATS when priced from +2.5 to -7.5 points, and 0-12-2 ATS their last 14 when matched up against a foe off an ATS win.  Even worse for Iowa State:  Pac-12 teams are 38-20 ATS their last 58 as underdogs in the NCAA Tournament (and 8-0 ATS their last 8 as underdogs vs. the Big 12 in the Tourney).  Finally, the Cougars fall into several of my favorites systems, with records of 34-5, 65-23 and 98-50 ATS.  Take Washington State.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 2 pm, in the NIT Tournament, our selection is on the Cincinnati Bearcats minus the points over Bradley.  The Braves won their first-round NIT game, 74-62, vs. Loyola-Chicago.  But that game was at home, where Bradley has gone 31-11-1 ATS its last 43 (and 69-37-5 ATS its last 111).  On the road, the Braves have been brutal, going 55-87-2 ATS their last 144, including 12-28 ATS off a double-digit win.  Take Cincinnati minus the points.

At 11:30 am (note the early start), in the NIT Tournament, our selection is on the Seton Hall Pirates minus the points over North Texas.  The Pirates won, but failed to cover the spread, on Wednesday vs. St. Joseph's.  And that was the 3rd straight ATS loss for Seton Hall.  The good news for the Pirates, here, is that they're a solid 43-22 ATS after 3 ATS losses in their 3 previous games.  Take the Pirates.

At 9:20 pm, our selection is on the Houston Cougars minus the points over Longwood.  The Cougars were blown out in the Big 12 title game, 69-41, by Iowa State.  I expect Kelvin Sampson's men to bounce back in a strong way on Friday night, as they're 14-5 ATS off a double-digit loss.  And they're also 38-15-2 ATS vs. foes off back to back ATS wins, provided the Cougars were not off back to back ATS wins, themselves.  Take Houston.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 7:25 pm, our selection is on the Purdue Boilermakers minus the points over Grambling.  The Tigers upset Montana St, 88-81, as a 4.5-point underdog in the First Four round game, in Dayton.  But Grambling's task will be much more difficult today, as it will have to take on Zach Edey & Co.  Purdue was our preseason pick (at 15-1 odds) to win the National Championship, and they'll start their title trek today in Indianapolis, just 71 miles from Mackey Arena.  Gainbridge Fieldhouse will no doubt be on the side of the #1-seeded Boilermakers this evening, and we will lay the points.  Matt Painter's men lost to Wisconsin, 76-75, in the Big 10 Tournament.  But under Painter, the Boilermakers have gone 82-54-6 ATS off a SU/ATS loss, including a spectacular 15-2 ATS in the post-season.  And Grambling is 1-7 ATS off an upset win, when facing a winning foe.  Lay the points.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 4:15 pm, our selection is on the Yale Bulldogs + the points over Auburn.  The Bulldogs hit a buzzer-beater to defeat Brown in the Ivy League championship game, but failed to cover the 8-point spread.  We'll take Yale to get the $$$ on Friday afternoon, as it's 37-17 ATS away from home off a point spread loss, including 4-1 ATS in the post-season.  Grab the points.

At 3:10 pm, our selection is on the Clemson Tigers + the points over New Mexico.  The Lobos won the Mountain West Conference Tournament with a 68-61 upset win over San Diego State.  And that was New Mexico's 4th straight win (and 6th straight cover).  The Lobos needed every one of those 4 wins, as they would not have qualified for the NCAA Tourney had they not won the Mountain West title.  Today, they'll face a Clemson team looking to bounce back off a 76-55 loss to Boston College in the ACC Tourney.  We'll fade New Mexico, as Mountain West teams are a woeful 10-34-1 ATS in the NCAA Tourney vs. a foe off a SU loss, including 2-13-1 ATS if our Mountain West team was off a SU win.  Moreover, ACC Conference teams have gone 58-34-1 ATS away from home off a loss by more than 10 points, if they were an underdog of less than 3 points.  And ACC teams have also gone 96-69-2 ATS off an upset loss, if they also lost two games back, and were matched up against a foe off a SU/ATS win (including 19-8 ATS vs. non-conference foes).  Grab the points with Clemson.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 1:45 pm, on Friday, our selection is on the San Diego State Aztecs minus the points over UAB.  Last year, Brian Dutcher's men lost in the championship game to Connecticut.  The Aztecs will try to make another run to the Final Four this season, and their first game will be against the Blazers, who won the AAC Tourney with an 85-69 triumph over Temple.  San Diego State is an awesome 99-56 ATS when favored (or PK) vs. a foe off a win by more than 8 points.  Lay the points with the Aztecs.

At 10:05 pm, our selection is on the Washington State Cougars + the points over Drake.  The Bulldogs have struggled in non-conference games, as they've gone 12-24 ATS their last 36.  Even worse:  they're 1-11 ATS in non-conference tournaments.  In contrast, the Cougars are 18-9 ATS in non-conference tourneys.  Take Washington St.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 9:40 pm our selection is on the Texas Tech Red Raiders minus the points over NC State.  Not since Xavier won the Atlantic 10 Tournament as a #10-seed in 2006 had such an improbable champion as NC State won its conference tournament.  But the Wolfpack did the near-impossible by winning five straight ACC games as the #10 seed to earn the title.  Unfortunately, teams that won their conference title games as underdogs of +6 (or more) points have not done well in their initial NCAA tourney game when not getting 17+ points, as they've covered just 36.1% since 1990.  Take Texas Tech minus the points.

At 9:20 pm, our selection is on the Tennessee Volunteers minus the points over St. Peter's.  After winning seven straight games (6-1 ATS), the Vols had a disappointing end to their season with back-to-back upset losses to Kentucky (85-81) and Mississippi St (73-56).  The good news for Tennessee is that it's a solid 47-17 ATS following 2+ losses, when matched up against a .571 (or better) foe.  Take the Volunteers.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 7:35 pm, our selection is on the South Dakota St. Jackrabbits + the points over Iowa St.  The Jackrabbits have been one of the best point spread teams, and they've been especially good against elite opponents, as they've gone 29-11 ATS vs. .777 (or better) teams with scoring margins > 8.0 ppg.  We'll take South Dakota State + the double-digits, and look for a bit of a letdown by Iowa State following its 28-point upset win over Houston to win the Big 12 title.  Unfortunately for the Cyclones, teams that win their conference tourney title game by double-digits as an underdog have generally underperformed in their initial NCAA Tourney game with a 39% ATS mark.  Take the Jackrabbits.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 7:10 pm, our selection is on the Washington Wizards + the points over Sacramento.  The Kings blew out Toronto last night, 123-89, while the Wizards had Wednesday off.  Washington lost their first two games of this four-game home stand.  But leading scorer, Kyle Kuzma (22.4 ppg) missed those two games.  He's been upgraded to 'probable' for tonight's game.  And that's all we need to fade the Kings tonight, as they're 18-41-1 ATS off a win, if they were an unrested road favorite in their current game (including 1-6 ATS as a double-digit favorite).  Take Washington.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 7:10 pm, our selection is on the Kentucky Wildcats minus the points over Oakland.  The Wildcats were upset by Auburn in the SEC Tourney.  We'll lay the points with Kentucky on Thursday night, as it has gone 18-2 ATS its last 18 (and 40-14 ATS its last 54) as favorites of 15 or less points vs. .585 (or better) foes when Kentucky was off an upset loss.  Take the Wildcats.

At 7:10 pm, our selection is on the Kentucky Wildcats and Oakland Golden Grizzlies to go Under the total.  The Grizzlies defeated Wisconsin-Milwaukee, 83-76, in the Horizon League title game to reach the NCAA Tournament.  But off that high-scoring win, we'll look for a lower-scoring game this evening.  Indeed, Oakland is 39-16 Under away from home following a game where it scored > 75 points, if the o/u line was 146+ points.  Additionally, the Wildcats also come into this game off a high-scoring affair, as they lost, 97-87, to Texas A&M in the SEC Tournament.  And NCAA post-season games have gone under 61.9% if the line was 150+ points, and each team scored > 80 in its previous game.  Take Kentucky/Oakland Under the total.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 4:00 pm, our selection is on the South Carolina Gamecocks minus the points over Oregon.  The Gamecocks (along with Iowa State) had the best ATS record (23-10 ATS) of any team which qualified for the NCAA Tournament this season.  In contrast, Oregon was tied for the fifth-worst (15-18 ATS).  Notwithstanding its Pac-10 Title, Oregon was 3-10 ATS down the stretch.  We'll take South Carolina, as it's 11-0 ATS in non-conference tournaments when not laying 3+ points.  And the Ducks are a dreadful 24-41 ATS their last 65 off a SU win.  Take the Gamecocks.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 2:45 pm, our selection is on the North Carolina Tar Heels minus the points over Wagner.  North Carolina was stunned by NC State in the ACC Championship game, 84-76.  We'll take the Tar Heels to bounce back from that upset loss, as they're an awesome 74-39-4 ATS off a SU loss, if they were favored by 4+ points in their current game.  Lay the points.

At 12:40 pm, our selection is on the BYU Cougars minus the points over Duquesne.  It's been 47 years since the Dukes last qualified for the NCAA Tourney, but Keith Dambrot's men upset VCU in the Atlantic 10 Title game to punch their ticket.  Their Cinderella story will likely end Thursday against a very good BYU team, which is 26-11 ATS its last 37 as a favorite (including 11-2 ATS vs. non-conference foes).  Lay the points with the Cougars.

At 10:10 pm, our selection is on the Los Angeles Clippers minus the points over the Portland Trail Blazers.  This is the first of two back-to-back games between these teams, here in Portland.  The Clippers come into this game off a blowout loss to the Atlanta Hawks, while the Blazers also lost their previous game, 110-107, at Chicago.  We'll take Los Angeles minus the points tonight, as it's 38-20 ATS as a favorite away from home, if it was off a SU loss in its previous game.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 8 pm, our selection is on the Under in the Princeton/UNLV game.  The Tigers come into this game off back to back high-scoring affairs.  They defeated Penn, 105-83, at the end of the regular season, and then fell to Brown, 90-81, in the Ivy League Tournament.  We'll look for a lower scoring game tonight, as teams have gone under 58.9% in non-conference post-season tourneys following back to back games where they scored 75+ points, that also went over the total.  Take the UNDER.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 7 pm, in the College Insider Tournament, our selection is on the Abilene Christian Wildcats + the points over Tarleton St.  These two team have already met twice this season, as members of the Western Athletic Conference.  The Texans took both meetings, including a 76-73 upset win in Abilene last month.  We'll take the revenge-minded Wildcats this evening, as they've covered 60 percent when playing with revenge from an upset loss earlier in the season, while the Texans have covered just 37% vs. foes it upset in the season's prior meeting.  Additionally, the Wildcats fall into a 40-9 ATS tourney system of mine.  Grab the points.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 9:10 pm, our selection is on the Denver Nuggets minus the points over Minnesota.  This Northwest Division rivalry has been dominated by the road team, which has gone 49-18 ATS, including a virtually-perfect 14-1 ATS when it was off a SU loss, and the home team was off a win.  With Denver in off a 2-point loss to Dallas, and Minny off a 10-point victory last night at Utah, we'll lay the points with Denver.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 9 pm, our selection is on the Iowa Hawkeyes minus the points over Kansas St.  The Hawkeyes have been dominant at home, going 47-28-4 ATS their last 79 against all opposition, and 49-23-1 their last 73 vs. non-conference foes (including 9-1 ATS off a loss by 9+ points).  Meanwhile, the Wildcats have stumbled badly vs. non-conference foes when priced from +3 to +7.5, as they've gone 8-23 ATS, including 0-5 ATS vs. foes off a SU/ATS loss.  Take Iowa.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 9 pm, our selection is on the Central Florida Knights minus the points over South Florida.  After winning 15 straight games, the Bulls ended their season by losing two of their final three games, including a 93-83 upset loss (as the AAC Tourney's #1 seed) to UAB.  We'll fade South Florida in this NIT Tournament game, as teams off double-digit upset losses, as #1-seeds, in their conference tourney, have covered just 39% in the NIT since 1990.  Additionally, the Bulls are a poor 4-16-1 ATS off a double-digit upset loss to a conference foe, while Central Florida is 14-3 ATS off a SU loss.  Take the Knights.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 7:40 pm, our selection is on the Philadelphia 76ers minus the points over Miami.  The Heat are playing back to back road games after winning on a buzzer-beating, three-point shot by Bam Adebayo last night, in Detroit.  The Sixers had Sunday off, and will play tonight's game with revenge from an upset home loss to Miami, on Valentine's Day.  We'll take Philly, as it is 46-22 ATS at home when playing with revenge from an upset loss.  Lay the points.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 3:40 pm, our selection is on the Dallas Mavericks +the points over the Denver Nuggets.  Luka Doncic has been upgraded to probable, and that's all we need to pull the trigger on the Mavericks.  Denver is a dreadful 5-21-2 ATS off back to back SU/ATS wins by more than 10 points.  And it's also 13-34-1 ATS away from home when favored off a 9-point (or greater) win.  Grab the points with the Mavericks.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 12 Noon, our selection is on the Yale Bulldogs minus the points over Brown.  These two teams met at the end of the regular season, and Brown upset Yale, 84-81, as a double-digit road underdog.  Revenge, however, is sweet.  And it's especially sweet in a conference championship game.  We'll lay the points with the Bulldogs, as NCAA teams have cashed 68.9% since 1990 in conference championship games when playing with revenge from a loss as a 7-point (or greater) favorite.   Additionally, the Bulldogs are 12-0 ATS their last 12 (and 20-2 ATS their last 22) as a revenge-minded favorite vs. a foe off a SU/ATS win.  Take Yale.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 11:30 pm, our selection is on the Grand Canyon Antelopes minus the points over Texas Arlington.  The #1-seeded Antelopes are on a 4-game SU/ATS win streak.  And they're also 9-2 ATS their last 11 post-season games.  Additionally, the favorite has gone 10-2 ATS in the WAC Conference championship games since 2011.  We'll lay the points with Bryce Drew's men tonight.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 8:30 pm, our selection is on the North Carolina Tar Heels minus the points over NC State.  The Wolfpack are a mere 21-14 this season, and were seeded 10th in the tourney.  Yet, they've reached the title game, and will punch a ticket to the NCAA Tourney with an upset win.  However, this is usually where Cinderella gets her glass slipper smashed.  Indeed, .600 (or worse) teams have gone 9-27-2 ATS in the championship game of conference tourneys when matched up against .715 (or better) foes, including 1-10 ATS if their foe was off an ATS loss.  Lay the points with the Tar Heels.

At 6:30 pm, our selection is on the Connecticut Huskies minus the points over Marquette.  The Golden Eagles will try to defeat UConn for the first time this season in 3 meetings.  UConn won the two regular season meetings by 28 and 7 points.  We'll take UConn to get the sweep, and lay the points this evening.  For technical support, consider that .750 (or better) teams playing with double-revenge (like Marquette) have covered just 40% in conference tourney championship games since 1997.  Take UConn minus the points.

At 6 pm, our selection is on the San Diego St. Aztecs minus the points over New Mexico.  The Lobos blew out Colorado St., 74-61, last night.  Unfortunately, the Aztecs have gone 99-55 ATS as a favorite (or PK) vs. foes off a win by more than 8 points.  SDSU also won a blowout yesterday, 86-70, vs. Utah State.  And SDSU is 99-46-2 ATS off a win by more than 13 points when it wasn't laying double-digits.  Take SDSU.

At 3:30 pm, our selection is on the Illinois Illini minus the points over Nebraska.  The 'Huskers blew out Indiana yesterday, 93-66.  But off that huge 27-point win, we'll fade Nebraska in this semi-final game, as it's 45-85 ATS as an underdog (or PK) following a win, in which it covered the spread by more than 3 points.  Illinois has dominated Nebraska, as it's won eight straight in this series.  Take the Illini.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 3:30 pm, our selection is on the Florida Gators minus the points over Texas A&M.  The Gators have excelled as a favorite in the post-season, and especially when favored by less than 9 points following an ATS win, as they've gone 34-13-1 ATS in that situation.  Meanwhile, the Aggies have struggled in the post-season off an upset win, as they've gone 6-10 ATS.  Lay the points with the Gators.

At 2 pm, our selection is on the Yale Bulldogs minus the points over Cornell.  The Bulldogs suffered a home loss to Brown, 84-81, to end their regular season.  But Yale's a solid 15-9 ATS in Ivy League games off an upset loss.  Even better:  Yale plays with revenge from a 65-62 loss at Cornell last month.  And the Bulldogs are 11-0 ATS their last 11 (and 19-2 ATS their last 21) as a revenge-minded favorite vs. a foe off a SU/ATS win.  Lay the points.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 11:30 pm, our selection is on the Tarleton St. Texans over Texas Arlington.  The Mavericks blew out SF Austin, 109-78, yesterday, for their 7th straight win (and 5th straight cover).  Unfortunately, underdogs with a winning record, that scored 109+ in their previous game, have gone 148-208 ATS away from home.  Additionally, the Mavericks also fall into a negative 28% ATS system of mine.  Take Tarleton St. minus the points.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 9:30 pm, our selection is on the Iowa State Cyclones minus the points over Baylor.  The Cyclones lost to the Bears in Waco earlier this season by two points, 70-68.  We'll lay the points with ISU, as it's 60-36-2 ATS when playing with revenge from a road loss earlier in the season.  Take the Cyclones.

At 8:10 pm, our selection is on the New Orleans Pelicans minus the points over Los Angeles.  The Clippers blew out Chicago last night, while the Pels lost their previous game, 116-95, on Wednesday vs. Cleveland.  We'll fade L.A. tonight, as it's 1-11 ATS when it was unrested, and off a SU win, and playing a rested foe off a SU loss.  Additionally, the Pelicans fall into an 84-41 ATS system of mine which plays on certain winning teams off blowout losses.  Take New Orleans.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.
