At 6:30 pm, our selection is on the Ohio State Buckeyes minus the points over Penn State.  The Buckeyes have been in a sustained free-fall over the last 50 days, as they're 1-13 SU/ATS.  But we'll back the Buckeyes tonight against Penn State, as they're 32-18 ATS as a home favorite of less than 8 points off a point spread defeat.  Take the Buckeyes.

At 9 pm, our selection is on the Loyola Chicago Ramblers + the points over Fordham.  The Ramblers were blown out, 65-49, here at home, last Friday. At 9 pm, our selection is on the South Carolina Gamecocks + the points over Alabama.  The Crimson Tide is having a great season.  But it may unravel a bit following the news that Brandon Miller, in response to his friend's request, brought his friend's gun to him, and that gun was then used in a murder.  But regardless of the background noise of that situation, we're' going to fade Alabama tonight.  The Gamecocks pulled off an upset win over LSU on Saturday, and have covered four of five.  Alabama did top the century mark vs. Georgia, in a 108-59 win, but is a horrid 0-20 ATS when favored by more than 10 points against a foe with a worse W/L record, if Alabama was off a win in which it scored 85+ points.  Take South Carolina + the points.

At 9 pm, our selection is on the Tulane Green Wave + the points over Houston.  The Green Wave are having a solid season, as they're 17-7, including 10-3 in American Athletic Conference play.  Of course, Houston sits atop the league standings with a 13-1 AAC mark.  Tulane blew out South Florida, 84-66, on the road in its last game.  And that's triggered a momentum system of mine which is 269-152-8 ATS since 1990.  Additionally, the Cougars are a soft 35.3% ATS since 1990 as a home favorite vs. revenge-minded winning foes that the Cougars defeated earlier in the season.  We'll grab the points with the high-quality underdog tonight.  Take Tulane.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 7 pm, our selection is on the James Madison Dukes over Marshall.  The Dukes come into this game on a 3-game SU/ATS win streak.  And they fall into a momentum system of mine which is 283-183 ATS since 1990.  Even better:  they defeated Marshall, 72-66, in December, as a 4.5-point dog, and are 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings with the Thundering Herd.  Take James Madison.

At 1 pm, our selection is on the LSU Tigers minus the points over South Carolina.  The Tigers have lost 13 straight games.  But they were underdogs in each of those 13 games.  Here, they're favored.  And LSU has won all 10 games this season, straight-up, when installed as a favorite.  And it's cashed 83% the past 13 seasons when favored off 3+ losses.  Take the Tigers minus the points.

At 1 pm, our selection is on the UMass Lowell River Hawks minus the points over Binghamton.  The Bearcats upset UMass Lowell in Binghamton, 66-65, as a 6-point underdog last month.  We'll take the River Hawks to avenge that defeat, as they're 9-4-1 ATS at home when playing with revenge.  And UMass Lowell also falls into a 215-115 ATS revenge system of mine.  Finally, the River Hawks have played better at home this season, as they're covering the spread by an average of 3.72 ppg at home (compared to minus 0.43 ppg on the road).  Lay the wood with Massachusetts Lowell.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 10 pm, our selection is on the Arizona Wildcats minus the points over Utah.  The Utes have been terrible travelers of late, as they're 12-27-1 ATS on the road.  Utah did upset the Wildcats in December.  But Arizona was not playing well at that time, as it was in the midst of a 1-6 ATS run.  Currently,  Arizona is on a super 7-1 SU and 6-1-1 ATS run.  And the Wildcats are also 15-6 ATS when laying 10+ points vs. a foe it lost to earlier in the season.  Take the Wildcats minus the points.

At 7 pm, our selection is on the Wisconsin-Green Bay Phoenix + the points over Robert Morris.  The Phoenix were thrashed, 72-38, by the Colonials in Pittsburgh last month.  We'll take the Phoenix to avenge that defeat, as they're 65-30-2 ATS when playing with revenge from a loss by more than 12 points.  Take Green Bay.

At 7:10 pm, our selection is on the San Antonio Spurs plus the points over Cleveland.  The Spurs have been installed as a huge underdog tonight, and this point spread is tied with two other games as being the largest in the NBA this year.  But the other two games (Houston, Dec 27; San Antonio, Jan 7) both had the Boston Celtics as their opponent.  Here, the Spurs are facing a somewhat weaker opponent in Cleveland.  The Cavaliers are a soft 19-32 ATS when laying more than 12 points.  And the Spurs are 197-140 ATS vs. Eastern Conference foes off a SU/ATS win.  Take San Antonio + the points.

At 8 pm, our selection is on the Wisconsin-Green Bay Phoenix + the points over Wisconsin-Milwaukee.  Faithful followers know I love playing on bad teams, so tonight we're going to go with the Phoenix, who have the worst record (2-22) in College Basketball.  But they're not just bad in Green Bay; they're also bad "in Las Vegas" as they're 6-18 ATS this season, which is the 2nd-worst ATS percentage of the 363 NCAA Division 1 teams (only Tulsa is worse).  And they've failed to cover the spread by an average of -5.81 ppg, which ranks #360 of 363 in that metric.  So, why take the Phoenix tonight?  Because, by my numbers, there's value on them against the Panthers.  Additionally, Green Bay was blown out by Milwaukee, 81-67, in the first meeting this season.  But in this rivalry, the team which lost the season's first meeting has covered 64% in Round 2, including 6-1 ATS when getting 9+ points.  And Green Bay is also 73-45-2 ATS when playing with revenge from a loss by 13+ points.  Take Wisconsin-Green Bay + the points.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.
