At 7 pm, our selection is on the Cleveland Cavaliers minus the points over the Atlanta Hawks.  These two teams met in back-to-back games at the end of November.  At the time, the Cavaliers were 17-1.  But Atlanta won the 2 games in the home-and-home series, which lowered Cleveland's record to 17-3.  The Cavs quickly righted their ship, and have gone 21-6 since.  We'll lay the points, as .750 (or better) teams have gone 17-1 SU and 15-3 ATS when playing with double-revenge, if they were favored by 6+ points.  Take Cleveland.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 7 pm, our selection is on the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers + the points over James Madison.  The Dukes have been installed as a big favorite over Coastal Carolina tonight.  Unfortunately for James Madison, it is 2-8 ATS its last 10 games, overall.  And it's 52-69 ATS when favored by more than 5 points vs. a foe off a SU loss.  Meanwhile, the Chanticleers have cashed 68.1% when getting more than 10 points from a foe off a SU win.  Take Coastal Carolina.

At 6 pm, our selection is on the New Hampshire Wildcats + the points over Maine.  The Black Bears come into this evening's game off back to back upset wins over UMBC and UMass-Lowell, while the Wildcats are on a 3-game SU/ATS losing streak.  We'll fade Maine off those two upsets, as NCAA teams favored by more than 7 points, have cashed just 37% since 1995 off back-to-back upset wins, if their foe was off 3 SU/ATS losses.  Take New Hampshire.

At 8 pm, our selection is on the DePaul Blue Demons + the points over Connecticut.  After opening the season with 3 ATS wins vs. soft competition (Sacred Heart, New Hampshire, LeMoyne), the Huskies have struggled.  They're 6-11 ATS their last 17, including 0-3 ATS their last three.  UConn is 1-8 ATS this season when laying between -7 and -21 points.  Take DePaul.

At 9 pm, our selection is on the New Mexico State Aggies minus the points over Jacksonville State.  The Aggies enter today's game off back to back losses to Liberty (68-60) and Kennesaw St. (69-56).  We'll lay the points with the Aggies, as Conference USA teams have cashed 71% as a favorite since 1990 when they were off back to back losses by 7+ points, and their opponent was off 3 SU/ATS wins.  Take New Mexico St.

At 8:30 pm, our selection is on the Miami-Florida Hurricanes + the points over California.  The Hurricanes have played 19 games this season with point spreads on them.  And they have the worst point spread differential of any team in my database through 19 lined games.  Miami's point spread differential going into today's game is -10.21, and that ranks dead last of the 67,844 games of teams that had played at least 19 lined games.  So, I fully understand just how bad Miami is playing.  California comes into this game off an upset win over Florida State.  We will take the Hurricanes today, as California is 14-25-2 ATS as a favorite in conference games off an upset win, including 6-16-1 ATS vs. foes off a loss. At 6:30 pm, our selection is on the Kansas Jayhawks + the points over Houston.  The Jayhawks are a home underdog this evening vs. Houston.  And it marks just the 3rd time Kansas has been a home dog in the past 35 seasons.  The good news for the Jayhawks is they easily covered the spread in the other two times they were a home dog -- winning by 13 points last year vs. Houston, and also by 13 points four years ago vs. Baylor.  Even better:  Kansas is a perfect 9-0 SU/ATS at home since 1990 when not laying more than 3 points.  Take the Jayhawks.

At 6 pm, our selection is on the Kansas State Wildcats minus the points over West Virginia.  The Wildcats are on a 3-game ATS win streak, and have been installed as a home favorite vs. the Mountaineers.  We'll lay the points, as K-State is a solid 74-56 ATS as a single-digit home favorite in conference play.  Take the Wildcats.
