At 8:10 pm, our selection is on the Portland Trail Blazers + the points over Oklahoma City.  The Trail Blazers have likely done something this season never before done by another NBA team:  they have lost two consecutive meetings to an opponent by a combined 105 points.  Portland lost at home to OKC in November, 134-91, and then fell by 62 points just 12 days ago, 139-77.  Indeed, in the last 34 seasons (which is as far back as my database goes), the most a team had ever lost 2 straight meetings to an opponent was a combined 94 points.  Coincidentally, that honor goes to Portland's opponent tonight, Oklahoma City.  Back in 2008, the Thunder (then the Seattle SuperSonics) lost back to back meetings to Denver by scores of 168-116 and 138-96).  Of course, the third time was the charm for Seattle that night, as they upset the Nuggets, 151-147, as 12.5-point underdogs.  We'll take the points with Portland in this major revenge spot, and we will note that road teams have gone 19-7 ATS when playing with revenge from a 40-point (or worse) road defeat earlier in the season (including 10-1 ATS if our road team was a double-digit underdog).  Take Portland + the points.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 7 pm, our selection is on the Duquesne Dukes minus the points over Richmond.  The Spiders downed George Mason, 77-70, at home on Saturday.  We'll fade Richmond on the road tonight, as it's a poor 3-11 ATS in the regular season off a conference win.  And it also falls into a negative 51-110 ATS system of mine which fades certain teams off 4+ ATS wins.  Lay the points with the Dukes.

At 7 pm, our selection is on the Missouri Tigers + the points over Alabama.  The Tigers have lost their last three games SU/ATS, while 'Bama has won its last 5 games SU, after defeating Miss State, 82-74, on the road.  Since 1990, underdogs of > 14 points have covered 60% of SEC Conference games if they weren't off a SU/ATS win.  Take Missouri + the points.

At 7 pm, our selection is on the Buffalo Bulls + the points over Toledo.  The Bulls were blown out, 76-59, at Akron, on Saturday.  We'll take the Bulls to bounce back tonight, as they're 21-6 ATS off a loss by 15+ points, including 8-1 ATS as a double-digit underdog, while Toledo is 8-16-1 ATS vs. a foe off a loss by 15+ points.  Take Buffalo.

At 6 pm, our selection is on the Western Carolina Catamounts minus the points over Samford.  The Catamounts come into this game off 9 straight wins, including back to back blowouts over East Tennessee St and Mercer.  We'll take Western Carolina to continue its solid play, as it's 11-2 ATS off a double-digit win.  And it falls into a 256-161 ATS system of mine which plays on certain teams off back to back SU/ATS wins.  Lay the points.

At 7 pm, our selection is on the UCLA Bruins + the points over the Washington Huskies.  Four days ago, the Bruins suffered their worst defeat since Stanford blew them out, 109-61, back on Jan. 9, 1997.  UCLA was an 8.5-point underdog this past Thursday at Utah, and was walloped 90-44, so it failed to cover the spread by 37.5 points.  That was the Bruins' 4th straight loss (and 3rd straight ATS loss).  I look for the Bruins to bounce back, as they're 15-3 ATS at home off a loss by 15+ points.  And they're also 14-7 ATS their last 21 vs. Washington.  Meanwhile, Washington is a poor 6-22-2 ATS on the road vs. foes on a 3-game ATS losing streak, including 1-8-1 ATS as a favorite, and 0-12-1 ATS vs. foes that failed to cover by > 5 points in their previous game.  Finally, UCLA's 46-point loss at Utah has triggered a 600-400-26 ATS system of mine.  We'll take the Bruins as a home dog.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.
