At 9:35 pm, on Thursday, in the NCAA Tournament, our selection is on the Arizona Wildcats + the points over Duke.  The Blue Devils have been the 3rd best team relative to the point spread in this tourney, as they've covered the spread by an average of 10.75 ppg (Arkansas (+13.75) and Ole Miss (+13.5) rank as #1 and #2, respectively).  This fact, coupled with the Blue Devils' regular season success (it's 24-12 ATS on the season, and has covered by an average of 4.51 ppg), has led to a slightly-inflated point spread for today's game, based on my numbers.  I like the Wildcats dressed up as a revenge-minded underdog.  These two teams met in Tucson earlier this season, and the Blue Devils emerged victorious, 69-55, as a 1.5-point road underdog.  Arizona, however, is 14-2 SU and 11-4-1 ATS its last 16 games when playing with revenge.  And Duke is a dreadful 1-6 ATS its last seven (and 7-20-1 ATS its last 28) when playing a revenge-minded foe Duke defeated on the road earlier in the season, provided Duke wasn't favored by 15+ points in the current game.  Grab the points with the Wildcats.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 6:10 pm, our selection is on the Philadelphia 76ers + the points over the Atlanta Hawks.  The Hawks are barreling toward the Playoffs, as they sit in 7th at the moment.  So, they'll have upwards of 2 chances to win just one game to punch their ticket to the Playoffs.  And that's a big deal for Atlanta, as it doesn't own its 2025 first-round draft pick, so the last thing it wants to do is see its pick turn into a valuable draft asset.  Today, the Hawks will host the league's most disappointing team -- Philadelphia.  These two teams met here just 13 days ago, and the Sixers got inside the number in that game, with a 132-123 loss, as a 9.5-point underdog.  I like them to get inside this big number once again, as Atlanta is a soft 53-70 ATS as a home favorite of -8 (or more) points off a SU win, when playing a foe off a SU loss.  Take the 76ers.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 3 pm, in the NIT Tournament, our selection is on the Oklahoma St. Cowboys + the points over SMU.  The Cowboys have won the last 10 meetings with the Mustangs, and have gone 7-3 ATS.  We'll happily grab the points, as Oklahoma St. has cashed 63% as an underdog of more than 9 points off a double-digit win, while SMU has cashed just 25% in the post-season when laying 9+ points.  Take the Cowboys.

At 7:10 pm, our selection is on the Auburn Tigers minus the points over Creighton.  The Tigers were on a torrid 20-1 run when they went into College Station on March 4.  We had a huge play on the Aggies +3.5 in that game, and they upset the then-#1-ranked Tigers, 83-72.  The Tigers have not found their footing since, and have gone 2-3 SU and 0-5 ATS.  I look for them to snap out of their funk on this Saturday evening, as the Bluejays are a soft 26-52 ATS vs. foes that failed to cover the spread by more than 10 points in their previous game.  Take Auburn.

At 6:10 pm, our selection is on the Texas Tech Red Raiders minus the points over Drake.  The favorite in match-ups between #3 and #11 seeds have gone 28-19 ATS.  Additionally, Drake falls into a negative 18-51 ATS system of mine which goes against certain teams off upset wins.  Lay the points with the Red Raiders.

At 5:15 pm, our selection is on the Texas A&M Aggies minus the points over Michigan.  The Aggies are seeded #4 and enter off a 9-point win over Yale.  Meanwhile, the Wolverines eked out a 3-point win over UC San Diego.  We played on both of these teams on Thursday, and will go with the Aggies in this match-up.  Since 1990, the favored team has gone 42-26 ATS in games played between #4 and #5 seeds.  Take the Aggies.

At 7:10 pm, on Friday, in the NCAA Tournament, our selection is on the Kentucky Wildcats minus the points over Troy.  The Trojans pulled off an upset over Arkansas St, 94-81, to win the Sun Belt Tournament.  But off that big triumph, we'll fade the Trojans in the opening round of the Big Dance.  Troy is a terrible 31-54 ATS off an upset win, including 17-41 ATS when it owned a W/L percentage greater than .400 (and, then, 3-11 ATS vs. non-conference foes).  Meanwhile, Kentucky was buried, 99-70, by Alabama in the SEC Tournament.  I like the 'Cats to bounce back, as they're 37-20-1 ATS in the post-season off a point spread loss, and 22-11 ATS after giving up 90+ points in their previous game.  And Kentucky also falls into a 53-13 ATS Tourney system of mine which plays on certain teams off point spread defeats.  Take the Wildcats.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 12:40 pm, on Friday, in the NCAA Tournament, our selection is on the Alabama Crimson Tide minus the points over Robert Morris.  The Crimson Tide were routed, 104-82, by Florida in the SEC Tourney.  The good news for 'Bama is that it now will face Horizon League member, Robert Morris.  The SEC has dominated the Horizon League, including 12-1 SU and 10-3 ATS when the SEC team was off a SU loss.  Moreover, Alabama falls into an 83-40-8 ATS Tourney system of mine.  Lay the points.

At 7:10 pm, on Thursday, in the NCAA Tournament, our selection is on the Kansas Jayhawks minus the points over Arkansas.  Bill Self's Jayhawks were one of the favorites in the preseason to win the title (along with Duke and UConn).  But only the Blue Devils among those three teams lived up to their billing.  The Jayhawks went 21-12 this season, and were 15-18 ATS, including an 88-77 loss to Arizona in the Big 12 Tourney.  I like the Jayhawks to bounce back in this first-round game, as they're 46-27 ATS in the post-season off an ATS loss (including 22-7 ATS their last 29 when favored by 9 or less).  Lay the points with the Jayhawks.
