At 4:05 pm, our selection is on the Arizona Cardinals + the points over San Francisco.  The Cardinals gave up a whopping 44 points to the Seahawks last week, in a 44-22 loss.  The good news for the Cards is that they're 12-1 ATS off a loss in which they allowed 44+ points, including 9-0 ATS at home.  And the 49ers are 0-11 ATS vs. division foes that allowed 31+ points in their previous game.  Take the Cardinals.

At 3 pm, our selection is on the Houston Cougars minus the points over Auburn.  The Tigers come into this game off back to back blowout wins over Merrimack and Wofford.  They'll now take on Houston, which they defeated a year ago, 74-69, as a 5.5-point underdog.  We'll take the revenge-minded Cougars, as they're 42-19 ATS vs. foes off back to back ATS wins, if Houston is not.  And the Coogs also are 58-27 ATS when playing with revenge.  Take Houston.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 2 pm, our selection is on the Fairfield Stags minus the points over Loyola-Maryland.  We played on the Greyhounds yesterday, and got the $$$ in their blowout of Stonehill.  But Loyola-Maryland is an ugly 0-7 ATS off a win by 7+ points (and 4-18 SU and 6-16 ATS off a win by any margin).  Take Fairfield minus the points.

At 2 pm, our selection is on the Massachusetts Minutemen minus the points over Central Connecticut St.  The Minutemen are 2-1 on the season, and play this game with revenge from a 73-69 defeat to the Blue Devils last year.  UMass has cashed 59% the last 36 seasons at home when playing with revenge from an upset loss, if UMass owned a winning record.  Lay the points.

At 1 pm, our selection is on the Buffalo Bills minus the points over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  Buffalo was upset last week, 30-13, by its division rival, Miami.  We'll take Buffy to bounce back this afternoon, as it's an awesome 72-22 SU and 60-31-3 ATS as a favorite of 13 or less points (or PK) off a SU loss, including 13-4-2 ATS off a loss by 17+ points.  The Bills also fall into one of my favorite NFL systems, which is 168-88 ATS, which plays on certain teams favored off losses.  Lay the points.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 7 pm, our selection is on the Delaware Blue Hens minus the points over Sam Houston St.  Phil Longo's Bearkats notched their first win of the season last week, as they shocked Oregon State, 21-17, in Corvallis.  But it was an improbable win, given that the Bearkats only gained 85 yards through the air (9-of-24) and 72 yards on the ground (on 24 carries).  The Beavers outyarded the Bearkats 474 to 157.  The Bearkats are just 2-7 ATS this season, and have failed to cover by an average of 8.5 ppg.  Delaware also pulled an upset last week, 25-24, vs. Louisiana Tech.  But it was well-earned, as the Blue Hens outyarded the Bulldogs, 399-333.  We'll fade Sam Houston at home today vs. Delaware.  Lay the points.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. 

At 4:30 pm, our selection is on the North Carolina Tar Heels + the points over Wake Forest.  it's been an up-and-down season for Bill Belichick's Tar Heels.  They're 4-5 SU (and 4-4 ATS in their eight FBS games).  They have done better on the road, where they are 3-1 ATS.  They'll take on a Demon Deacons squad coming off a big upset win at Charlottesville last Sunday.  I don't want any part of Wake Forest off that upset win.  And especially not at home, as they're 1-14 ATS at home off an upset win, when priced from -7 to +7.5 points.  Wake Forest also falls into a negative 12-70 ATS system of mine which fades certain teams off upset wins.  Take the Tar Heels.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 3:30 pm, our selection is on the Virginia Cavaliers + the points over Duke.  Virginia's QB, Chandler Morris has been upgraded to "probable" to play in Saturday's game.  We'll grab the points with Virginia, as it falls into a 101-43 ATS 'bounce-back' system of mine which plays on certain teams off upset losses.  Morris suffered an injury in the 2nd quarter of last week's 16-9 loss to Wake Forest.  Without Morris behind center, Virginia's backup QB, Daniel Kaelin, was rusty and fumbled twice in the loss.  The Cavs are 18-6 ATS as an underdog of more than 3 off an upset loss.  Take UVA.

At 3:30 pm, our selection is on the Central Florida Knights + the points over Texas Tech.  The Knights were upset, 30-27, by Houston last week.  We'll grab the double-digits, as UCF has cashed 79% since 2009 as an underdog of more than 8 points in conference road games, while the Red Raiders are a poor 2-8 ATS off a win, if laying more than 18 to a conference foe.  Take UCF.

At 3:30 pm, our selection is on the Texas State Bobcats plus the points over Southern Miss.  The Bobcats are 0-5 in Sun Belt Conference play.  But they have not quit.  Far from it.  In last week's loss at Louisana-Lafayette, they were down by 22 points, but continued to fight, and outscored the Cajuns 19-0 to end the game, only to fall by 3 points.  We'll take Texas State as a road underdog on Saturday, as the Golden Eagles are 1-10 ATS at home, with a .666 (or better) win pct., vs. foes off an upset loss.

At 3:30 pm, our selection is on the Michigan St. Spartans + the points over Penn State.  The Nittany Lions suffered a heartbreaking defeat vs. the undefeated Indiana Hoosiers last Saturday.  PSU led by 4 in the waning seconds before Indiana scored a TD to win, 27-24.  I don't want any part of Penn State following that loss, as I look for it to suffer an emotional letdown on the road.  Michigan State has lost its last six games.  But it is 5-1 ATS in those six games, so it's still playing hard.  This is Michigan State's final home game this season.  And the Spartans are 25-13 ATS in their final home games, including 11-3 ATS as an underdog, and 15-3 ATS off a point spread win.  Take Michigan St.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 12 Noon, our selection is on the Virginia Cavaliers minus the points over Marshall.  The Cavs are 3-0 SU and 2-1 ATS this season.  And we'll lay the points and fade a Marshall team which is 1-20 SU and 2-19 ATS as an underdog of more than 4 points vs. a foe with a win pct greater than .625 (including 0-13 ATS on the road).  Take Virginia.

At 12 Noon, our selection is on the Kansas St. Wildcats minus the points over Oklahoma St.  The Wildcats come into this game off a 23-point loss to Texas Tech two weeks ago.  We'll lay the points with K-State, as it is 88-55 ATS off a point spread defeat.  And it's also 32-6 ATS off a loss by 20+ points, when matched-up against a Big 12 Conference foe.  Take the Wildcats.

At 12 Noon, our selection is on the Indiana Hoosiers minus the points over Wisconsin.  This is the Hoosiers' final home game of the season.  And teams playing their last home game have gone 75-41 ATS when favored by more than 11 vs. a foe off an upset win.  With Wisconsin off a 13-10 upset win over Washington, we'll fade the Badgers on Saturday.  Take Indiana.

At 12 Noon, our selection is on the Pittsburgh Panthers + the points over Notre Dame.  The Panthers are playing really well right now.  They have won and covered 5 straight games.  And I like playing on home dogs of more than 6 points that are off 3+ wins, and who own a .700 (or better) win percentage.  Those teams have covered 64% since 1980.  Take Pitt.

At 12 Noon, our selection is on the Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners minus the points over Charlotte.  UTSA was blown out, 55-23, by South Florida last week.  I like the Roadrunners to bounce back as they fall into an 88-39 ATS system of mine which plays on certain road favorites to bounce back off blowout losses.  Charlotte has been horrid (16% ATS) at home vs. foes off upset losses, while UTSA is 18-13 ATS in conference games off a double-digit loss.  Lay the points.

At 9:40 pm, our selection is on the San Antonio Spurs minus the points over Golden State.  The Warriors are a woeful 44-100 ATS when playing a revenge-minded foe if the Warriors were off an ATS win.  Additionally, the Spurs are 327-229 ATS as a home favorite if their opponent wasn't off an ATS loss.  Lay the points with Mitch Johnson's men.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 8:40 pm, our selection is on the Los Angeles Clippers minus the points over Dallas.  The Clippers are easily the most disappointing team in this young season.  Not only are they 3-8 SU, but they're 1-10 ATS, including 0-9 ATS their last nine.  That's especially hard to do.  The good news for the Clippers tonight is that the Mavericks are playing equally as poorly.  Dallas has the worst adjusted offensive rating in the NBA (103.47), and the 5th worst adjusted Net Rating (-8.71).  The Mavs do have 3 wins on the season, but two of those three wins were against the 1-11 Pacers and the 1-11 Wizards.  Take the Clippers minus the points.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 8:10 pm, our selection is on the Los Angeles Lakers minus the points over the New Orleans Pelicans.  The Lakers were blasted, 121-92, by OKC in their last game.  We'll lay the points with Los Angeles at New Orleans tonight, as the Lakers are 104-68 ATS off a loss by 15+ points.  Take L.A.

At 8 pm, our selection is on the Xavier Musketeers plus the points over Iowa.  The Musketeers are a super 53-22-3 ATS as an underdog in non-conference games.  Grab the points with Xavier.

At 7:30 pm, our selection is on the Tulane Green Wave minus the points over New Orleans.  Last season, the Privateers got the better of their cross-town rival with a 93-87 win.  But you know what they say about "paybacks."  We'll lay the points with the Green Wave, who are 24-13-1 ATS when playing with revenge, while New Orleans is 2-9 ATS when playing a revenge-minded foe.  Take Tulane.

At 7 pm, our selection is on the Duke Blue Devils minus the points over Indiana St.  The Blue Devils are off to a 3-0 SU/ATS start this season.  And we'll look for that win streak to continue tonight, as Duke is 230-169 ATS when laying 13+ points, including 26-9-1 ATS their last 36.  Take Duke.

At 6:30 pm, our selection is on the Lindenwood Lions + the points over Charleston Southern.  The Buccaneers are a brutal 36-68-3 ATS in games where they weren't getting 10+ points.  Here, of course, they're favored.  We'll take Lindenwood.

At 7 pm, our selection is on the Florida Gators minus the points over Florida State.  The Gators have won and covered each of the last 4 meetings against their rival, Florida State.  And we'll look for that dominance to continue on Tuesday evening.  Admittedly, the Gators are 0-2 ATS this season.  But Florida is 27-5-1 ATS in non-conference games when they were on a 2-game (or worse) ATS losing streak, and their opponent was off back-to-back wins.   Take Florida.

At 4 pm, our selection is on the Air Force Falcons + the points over Long Island.  The Falcons play with revenge from a 63-54 loss here, at home, last season.  We'll take the points with the home underdog, as Air Force is an awesome 12-4-2 ATS when playing with revenge vs. a non-conference foe, including a perfect 7-0 ATS if the game was competitively-priced with a point spread less than 5 points.  Take Air Force.

At 10:40 pm, our selection is on the Los Angeles Clippers minus the points over the Atlanta Hawks.  The Clippers come into this game on a 4-game losing streak, and are 3-6 SU and 1-8 ATS on the season (including 0-7 ATS their last seven).  We'll look for Los Angeles to snap its ATS losing streak, as the Hawks are a horrid 15-26 ATS vs. foes off 3 SU/ATS losses, including 1-7 ATS their last eight, while the Clippers are 11-1 ATS off 4 SU/ATS losses when matched-up against a foe off a SU/ATS win.  The Clips also fall into a very good 256-164 ATS system of mine.  Lay the points.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 1 pm, our selection is on the Cleveland Browns minus the points over the New York Jets.  The Browns had last week off to rest and prepare for this road game vs. the Jets.  We'll lay the points, as road favorites have gone 121-88 ATS following their Bye week.  Even better:  favorites have gone 11-1-1 ATS away from home vs. the Jets, if our favored team was off a SU loss, and the Jets were off a SU win.  Take Cleveland.

At 1 pm, our selection is on the Houston Texans over the Jacksonville Jaguars.  The Jags won the first meeting between these rivals this season, 17-10.  We'll take the Texans to avenge that defeat, as they're 12-6 ATS at home when playing with revenge from a loss earlier in the season.  And the Jags are 9-18-2 ATS on the road vs. foes seeking revenge from a loss earlier in the season.  Take Houston.

At 7:40 pm, our selection is on the Philadelphia 76ers minus the points over the Toronto Raptors.  The Sixers have an advantage tonight in terms of "rest," as Philly has not played since Wednesday, while the Raptors played last night.  The 76ers are 73-48 ATS when well-rested, with at least the previous two days off, if they were off back to back losses, and their foe was off a SU win.  Lay the points.

At 4 pm, our selection is on the Auburn Tigers + the points over Vanderbilt.  The Tigers were upset as an 11.5-point favorite last week by Kentucky.  The good news for Auburn is that it is 16-8 ATS away from home in SEC Conference games off an upset loss.  Auburn also falls into 185-86 and 212-112 ATS systems of mine that play on certain teams to bounce back from bad games.  Grab the points with the Tigers.

At 4 pm, our selection is on the New Mexico State Aggies + the points over Kennesaw St.  The Owls have won six straight, and are on a 5-game ATS wins streak, while the Aggies are on a 3-game losing streak, and have lost their last 2 ATS.  The knee jerk reaction might be to play on the red-hot Owls.  But consider that teams on 5-game (or better) SU/ATS win streaks are a long-term money-burner vs. foes off back-to-back SU/ATS losses, covering just 41%.  We'll grab the points with New Mexico St.

At 3 pm, our selection is on the Houston Cougars minus the points over Towson.  The Cougars come into this game off a 75-57 win vs. Lehigh, as a 36.5-point home favorite.  Houston is a solid 54-25 ATS off a point spread defeat, if its opponent was off a SU win.  We'll lay the points with the Cougars this afternoon.

At 1 pm, our selection is on the Bowling Green Falcons + the points over Eastern Michigan.  The Falcons are on an 0-3 SU/ATS losing streak following their 28-3 upset loss last week, at home, vs. Buffalo.  We'll take BGSU to bounce back, as it is 18-8 ATS as an underdog off back-to-back SU/ATS losses.  And it's 16-7 ATS on the road off an upset loss.  Grab the points.

At 1:00 pm, our selection is on the Liberty Flames minus the points over Missouri St.  Liberty blew out Delaware, 59-30, for its 3rd straight win last weekend.  And that big win has triggered a very good 'momentum' system of mine which is 397-285 ATS since 1980.  Liberty is 10-6 ATS at home off back to back wins.  We'll lay the points with the Flames.

At 12 Noon, our selection is on the Texas Tech Red Raiders minus the points over BYU.  The Red Raiders have a strong home field, and have gone 41-8 SU and 36-11-2 ATS in Lubbock when priced from -3 to -12.  Even better:  the Red Raiders have the nation's 6th best scoring defense, allowing just 13.2 ppg.  Look for the Red Raiders to crush the Cougars.  Lay the points with Texas Tech.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 10 pm, our selection is on the Santa Clara Broncos minus the points over McNeese St.  The Cowboys hosted the Broncos last December, and the Broncos upset McNeese, 74-67, handing the Cowboys their only home loss of the two previous seasons.  In this rematch, a lot of the faces from last year's Cowboys team (which won 28 games and reached the 2nd round of the NCAA tourney) are gone.  Indeed, the Cowboys returned just one starter, and also lost their head coach, Will Wade, who now coaches North Carolina State.  Santa Clara has been installed as a home favorite, and we'll lay the points, as the Broncos are 47-33-1 ATS in the regular season vs. revenge-minded foes.  Take Santa Clara.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 8:30 pm, our selection is on the Wisconsin Badgers minus the points over Northern Illinois.  The Huskies come into Madison off a season-opening, 20-point win over Louisiana-Monroe.  I look for Wisconsin to blow out the Huskies, as Wisky is 9-1 ATS when laying more than 23 points to a foe off a SU win.  And Northern Illinois is 0-15 SU and 2-12-1 ATS its last 15 meetings vs. a Big 10 foe.  Take the Badgers.

At 8:10 pm, our selection is on the Charlotte Hornets + the points over the Miami Heat.  The Hornets play this game with revenge from a 144-117 blowout loss last week to Miami.  We'll grab the points, as the Heat are a horrid 27-54-3 ATS in the regular season when playing a rested, revenge-minded foe they beat by more than 7 points earlier in the season, including 3-20 ATS if Miami scored more than 121 points in that earlier meeing.  Take Charlotte.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 10 pm, our selection is on the Washington Huskies minus the points over Denver.  The Huskies got their season off to a great start with a 94-50 blowout win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff.  Washington was led by 6'11 freshman Hannes Steinbach, a first-round NBA prospect, who poured in 21 points on 9-for-11 shooting.  The Huskies will welcome the Denver Pioneers to Alaska Airlines Arena tonight.  Denver will be playing its second straight game in the city of Seattle, as it lost to the Seattle RedHawks, 84-73, on Monday.  We'll fade the Pioneers, as they are an ugly 65-97-2 ATS as a road underdog vs. a foe off a SU win, including 3-12 ATS vs. foes that won by 30+ points in their previous game.  Take the Huskies.  Good luck as always...Al McMordie.
