At 11:00 am, our selection is on the Duquesne Dukes minus the points over Old Dominion.  Last year, the Dukes were the darling of the post-season, as they won the Atlantic 10 Tournament as a #6 seed, and then upset the BYU Cougars in the first round of the NCAA Tourney (before falling to Illinois).  Their coach, Keith Dambrot retired, and the Dukes are now led by Dru Joyce III.  Joyce has yet to find the win column, as the Dukes are 0-6 SU/ATS.  But this slow start has triggered several systems of mine, and I believe today is the perfect time to step in and play on Duquesne.  It certainly doesn't hurt that the Dukes will match-up today with Old Dominion.  And for all of Duquesne's problems this season, ODU's point spread issues have been a lot worse, and for a lot longer, compared to Duquesne.  Indeed, Old Dominion is 9-29 ATS its last 38, including 2-14 ATS as an underdog of 9 or less points and 1-11 ATS vs. sub-.500 foes.  Take Duquesne.

At 10:30 am, our selection is on the Chicago State Cougars + the points over Drexel.  This game will be played early this morning, in the Sunshine Slam, at Daytona Beach.  The Dragons have been installed as a big favorite.  Unfortunately, they're a dreadful 1-11 ATS away from home when laying 10+ points.  Take Chicago State + the points.

At 7 pm, our selection is on the Ohio State Buckeyes minus the points over Green Bay.  The Buckeyes are 4-1 SU/ATS this season, and have covered the spread at home by an average of 19.8 ppg.  They've also cashed 61% at home vs. Horizon League foes.  Lay the points.

At 12:30 pm, our selection is on the UAB Blazers minus the points over Louisiana-Lafayette.  UAB was upset on Saturday by Illinois State, as a 7-point favorite.  We'll take the Blazers to bounce back this afternoon, as they're 17-8 ATS their last 25.  And they're 58-45 ATS in the regular season off an upset loss.  Take the Blazers.

At 12 Noon, our selection is on the Maryland-Baltimore Country Retrievers + the points over Howard.  The Bison will travel up I-295 to Catonsville, Maryland to take on UMBC in this early game on Monday.  We'll fade Howard, as it's a wallet-breaking 23-40 ATS on the road, including 5-12 ATS as a road favorite.  Take UMBC.

At 1 pm, our selection is on the Dallas Cowboys + the points over Washington.  The underdog in this long-standing rivalry has gone 55-32-1 ATS.  That bodes well for the Cowboys.  As does the fact that Washington is a horrible favorite, including 16-46 ATS when laying more than 5 points.  It's also a wallet-breaking 14-20 straight-up and 8-25-1 ATS as a favorite vs. Dallas.  Take the Cowboys.

At 7:30 pm, our selection is on the Utah Utes + the points over Iowa State.  After a heartbreaking, 1-point loss two weeks ago to rival BYU, the Utes understandably had a letdown last week at Colorado.  That was Utah's sixth straight loss (after opening the season with four straight wins).  We played on Utah in that BYU game, and got the $$$ with them as a home underdog.  They're once again a home dog this Saturday evening, and we'll grab the points, as Utah is 34-12-1 ATS an an underdog off a SU/ATS loss.  Take the Utes.

At 7:30 pm, our selection is on the Old Dominion Monarchs minus the points over Marshall.  The Thundering Herd have won their last four games.  But they were favored in each of those.  Indeed, this season, when favored, the Herd has gone 7-0.  But it's lost its three games SU as an underdog.  We'll fade Marshall on Saturday night, as it's 3-11-1 ATS as an underdog off back to back wins, including 0-6 ATS in conference games.  Take Old Dominion minus the points.

At 6:00 pm, our selection is on the Queens, NC Royals minus the points over South Carolina Upstate.  The Royals have been installed as a small favorite this evening.  And that bodes well, as they're 8-1 ATS their last nine when priced as a favorite (or PK), compared to 11-21-1 ATS as an underdog.  Queens, NC also falls into 72-28 and 94-41 ATS systems of mine.  Lay the points.

At 3:30 pm, our selection is on the South Florida Bulls minus the points over Tulsa.  The Bulls blew out Charlotte, 59-24, as a 1.5-point road underdog last Saturday.  Off that impressive win, we'll ride the momentum with South Florida as a double-digit favorite this afternoon.  Indeed, the Bulls have cashed 64.2% as a double-digit favorite following a game where they covered the spread by double-digits.  Lay the points.

At 9 pm, our selection is on the Marquette Golden Eagles minus the points over Purdue.  The Boilers are 4-0, but all four wins came at home, in Mackey Arena.  The Boilers will play Marquette in Milwaukee tonight, and have been installed as an underdog.  Marquette is 13-4 ATS its last 17 as a home favorite, while Purdue is 25-40 its last 65 on the road.  And the Boilers are also a horrible 57-93-7 ATS as an underdog priced from +2.5 to +12 points.  Take Marquette.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 8 pm, our selection is on the Kansas Jayhawks minus the points over NC Wilmington.  The Jayhawks have been installed as a big home favorite vs. the 3-0 Seahawks.  We'll fade Wilmington, as .833 (or better) underdogs of more than 16 points have gone 257-317 ATS in the regular season since 1990.  And KU is a solid 34-17 ATS when favored at home by 22+ points.  Lay the points.

At 7 pm, our selection is on the Vermont Catamounts minus the points over Buffalo.  The Catamounts suffered their 2nd straight defeat, with a 62-59 loss at Iona, on Friday.  The good news for Vermont is that it's cashed 57% as a favorite off back-to-back losses, while Buffalo has cashed just 35.7% as a double-digit road underdog vs. foes off back-to-back losses.  Lay the points.

At 10:40 pm, our selection is on the Golden State Warriors minus the points over the Los Angeles Clippers.  The Warriors are 10-2 on the season, with one of their two defeats at home to this Clippers club, back in October.  We'll lay the points with the revenge-minded Warriors, as they're 56-29-1 ATS vs. division rivals, when rested, and playing with revenge from a home defeat, while the Clippers are 37-69-2 ATS when playing a .537 (or better) revenge-minded foe it defeated on the road earlier in the season.  Take Golden State.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 3 pm, our selection is on the Texas Southern Tigers + the points over Samford.  Texas Southern lost SU/ATS to Georgia Tech, 81-62, on Tuesday, while the Bulldogs edged North Alabama, 97-96, in Florence, on Friday, as a 2-point road favorite.  Samford is back home this afternoon.  But it's a dreadful 14-37 ATS at home vs. losing opponents off a SU/ATS loss.  Take the Tigers.

At 3 pm, our selection is on the Tennessee Volunteers minus the points over Austin Peay.  The Governors pulled off their 2nd straight upset win, with a 67-61 victory over Chattanooga, as a 2.5-point home dog.  We'll fade Austin Peay this afternoon off that win, as they've cashed just 42% as road double-digit dogs off an upset win since 1990.  Even worse, undefeated teams off back to back upset wins have cashed just 33% as road underdogs over the past 35 years.  Finally, the Vols are 18-8 ATS when laying 18.5 (or more) points, while the Governors are 11-20 ATS when catching more than 18 points.  Take Tennessee.

At 2 pm, our selection is on the Harvard Crimson + the points over Colorado.  The Buffaloes are 3-0 with 3 home wins over Eastern Washington, Northern Colorado and Cal State Fullerton.  We'll grab the points with Harvard, which is 18-4 ATS when priced from +6.5 to +21 vs. non-conference foes off back to back wins.  Take the Crimson.

At 6:00 pm, our selection is on the Liberty Flames + the points over Florida Atlantic.  The Owls come into this game off a heartbreaking, 119-116, loss to the College of Charleston, as the Cougars buried a 3-pointer at the buzzer to win in double-overtime.  And that was the 2nd straight game where the Owls allowed 100+ points on defense, as UCF won on Tuesday, 100-94, vs. the Owls.  We'll fade Florida Atlantic, as teams playing away from home, that gave up 100+ points in each of their two previous games, have cashed just 42% as favorites since 1990.  Take Liberty + the points.

At 5 pm, our selection is on the Georgia State Panthers minus the points over Arkansas St.  The Panthers have lost their last six games, straight-up, and are on a 4-game ATS losing streak.  They lost last week at James Madison, 38-7, as a 14.5-point underdog.  In this home game, though, they're favored over the Red Wolves.  The knee-jerk reaction might be to play against the ice cold Panthers.  But home favorites off 6+ losses, and 4+ ATS losses have cashed 73% the past 45 years if they failed to cover the spread by 7+ in their previous game.  Lay the points with Georgia St.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 4:15 pm, our selection is on the South Carolina Gamecocks minus the points over Missouri.  The Gamecocks come into this home game vs. the Tigers off 3 straight wins and covers.  And South Carolina covered the spread in those three games by 26, 27 and 15 points.  We'll look for the Gamecocks to continue to roll on Saturday, as NCAA favorites have covered 65.9% since 1980 if they were off 3 SU/ATS wins, in which they covered each by 15+ points, and were now matched up against a conference foe off a win.  Lay it.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 4:00 pm, our selection is on the Nebraska Cornhuskers + the points over USC.  Dana Holgorsen will take over the reins of Nebraska's offense, as former coordinator, Marcus Satterfield, will coach tight ends.  In Satterfield's 21 games as a play-caller, Nebraska's offense averaged 20.4 ppg, which ranked #124 of 134 FBS teams.  Before his head coaching stints at West Virginia and Houston, Holgorsen built his reputation while coordinating high-octane offenses under Mike Leach at Texas Tech and Mike Gundy at Oklahoma State.  Installing Holgorsen as coordinator will no doubt boost Nebraska's offensive production.  I like Nebraska as a big underdog.  Take the points.

At 3:30 pm, our selection is on the Oregon State Beavers minus the points over Air Force.  The Beavers were stunned last week, 24-13, by San Jose State, as a 3-point home favorite.  We'll take Oregon State to bounce back, as it's 12-1 ATS off an upset loss, if it was priced from -7.5 to +7.5 points.  Take the Beavers.
