02-26-18 | Duke v. Virginia Tech +6 | Top | 63-64 | Win | 100 | 15 h 28 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Virginia Tech Hokies + the points over Duke. The Hokies were upset by Louisville here at home on Saturday, 75-68, while Duke has won and covered five straight. One of those five wins was less than two weeks ago in Durham, when the Blue Devils blew out Va Tech, 74-52. But with revenge from that 22-point loss, we'll jump all over the Hokies tonight, as they fall into a 93-33 ATS revenge system of mine which plays on certain teams that lost by 20+ points earlier in the season. Moreover, Virginia Tech is 12-1 ATS its last 13 as a home underdog, and 37-14 ATS at home or on neutral courts when playing with same-season revenge vs. a conference foe, including 5-0 ATS off an upset loss, and 27-7 ATS as a dog/PK. Take the Hokies. NCAA Hoops High Roller Winner. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-25-18 | 76ers v. Wizards -1.5 | Top | 94-109 | Win | 100 | 14 h 52 m | Show |
At 8:05 pm, our selection is on the Washington Wizards minus the points over Philadelphia. The Wizards were upset by Charlotte in their last game. But Washington is a terrific 89% ATS at home the past three seasons at home off an upset loss by double-digits. Even better: the Wizards are playing tonight with double revenge from losses in November + February to the Sixers. And NBA favorites have cashed 62% in the regular season since 1990 off upset losses, if they were playing with double-revenge. Take the Wizards on Sunday. High roller winner. |
02-25-18 | Colorado State +17.5 v. Nevada | Top | 83-92 | Win | 100 | 10 h 55 m | Show |
At 4 pm, our selection is on the Colorado State Rams + the points over Nevada. Nevada is 24-5 and is riding a 4-game win streak. Unfortunately, Mountain West underdogs of more than 13 points are 92-44 ATS vs. foes off back to back wins. Take Colorado State + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-25-18 | Northern Kentucky v. IUPU-Indianapolis +8.5 | Top | 75-56 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 56 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is the IUPUI Jaguars + the points over Northern Kentucky. IUPUI has won and covered its last three games, and will play its final home game of the season this afternoon vs. the Horizon League-leading Norse (21-8 overall; 16-10 ATS; 14-3 in Conference). Since 1990, home dogs off 3 SU/ATS wins have cashed 65% vs. foes off ATS wins, if such foes also were .500 or better ATS. Additionally, IUPUI is 9-1 ATS as a home underdog or PK over the last three seasons. Take IUPUI plus the points. |
02-25-18 | Michigan State v. Wisconsin +8.5 | Top | 68-63 | Win | 100 | 7 h 45 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is on the Wisconsin Badgers + the points over Michigan State. The Badgers enter this game with a losing record, at 14-16 (and 7-10 in the Big 10). But they've won and covered three straight. And they're also an awesome 48-26 ATS in Big 10 play when they entered the game with a .500 or worse Big 10 record. Take Wisconsin. |
02-24-18 | Oilers v. Kings -150 | Top | 4-3 | Loss | -150 | 14 h 15 m | Show |
At 10:05 pm, our selection is on the Los Angeles Kings over the Edmonton Oilers. The Kings came home from a seven-game road trip on Thursday to play one of their dullest games of the season, registering just 18 shots on goal in a 2-0 shutout loss at the hands of the Dallas Stars. And this was after they had logged at least 30 shots in each of their previous six contests. Chalk that one up to road rust and expect L.A. to come out with a lot more fire in its belly tonight against Division rivals Edmonton. The Oilers come in having won two of their last three, but both victories were against the Avalanche, and if you take those games out of the equation, the Oilers have lost seven straight by a combined score of 29-16. The Kings have a way of rebounding from games like their last one as they are 5-0 in their last five after scoring two goals or less in their previous game. The home team is also 8-1 in the last nine meetings of these two while the Oilers are 2-14 in the last 16 meetings in Los Angeles. Take the Kings. As always, good luck...Al McMordie. |
02-24-18 | Thunder v. Warriors -9.5 | Top | 80-112 | Win | 100 | 7 h 56 m | Show |
At 8:35 pm, our selection is on the Golden State Warriors minus the points over Oklahoma City. The Thunder upset Golden State in each of the two previous meetings this season. But with double-revenge, I look for the Warriors to rout OKC tonight, as Golden State's 11-0 ATS its last 11 when playing with same-season double revenge vs. .700 (or worse) foes. Take the Warriors. NBA Payback Payday. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-24-18 | Auburn v. Florida -2 | Top | 66-72 | Win | 100 | 12 h 23 m | Show |
At 8:30 pm, our selection is on the Florida Gators minus the points over Auburn. The Gators are off three tough losses to rival SEC foes. They fell by 3 to both Georgia and Vanderbilt, before losing by five, on Wednesday, at Tennessee. The good news, though, for Gator fans is that SEC Conference teams are an awesome 69-38 ATS off 3 SU/ATS losses, if they were favored (or PK) vs. rival SEC teams. Take Florida. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-24-18 | Murray State v. Austin Peay +6 | Top | 73-64 | Loss | -106 | 12 h 14 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Austin Peay Governors + the points over Murray State. The Racers are on a 10-game win streak. But we'll go against Murray State as road teams off 10+ wins have covered just 120 of 288 conference road games as single-digit favorites. Take Austin Peay + the points. |
02-24-18 | Sabres v. Capitals -190 | Top | 1-5 | Win | 100 | 11 h 5 m | Show |
At 7:05 pm, our selection is on the Washington Capitals over Buffalo. These two teams met five days ago in Buffalo, and the Caps won on the road, 3-2. Since that game, Washington has lost to the Lightning and Panthers. But the Capitals are a super 17-5 off back to back losses, while Buffalo is a poor 11-30 when playing with revenge. Take Washington. |
02-24-18 | Blackhawks v. Blue Jackets -167 | Top | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 7 h 22 m | Show |
At 7:05 pm, our selection is on the Columbus Blue Jackets over the Chicago Blackhawks. After averaging 41.5 shots on goals over a span of 10 games, the Blue Jackets' offense went on holiday in its past two games. It generated just 19 shots on goal in a 2-1 win at New Jersey, and then only peppered Philadelphia for 20 shots on goal in a 2-1 loss on Thursday. I expect Columbus' offense to get back on track this evening when it returns home to face the Blackhawks. Columbus is averaging almost 36 shots on goal, and 2.6 goals per game at home this season. And it's 12-6 this year after scoring 2 or less goals in each of its two previous games. Take Columbus. |
02-24-18 | Old Dominion v. Western Kentucky -1.5 | Top | 66-88 | Win | 100 | 11 h 54 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers minus the points over Old Dominion. The Monarchs and Hilltoppers are tied for second place in Conference USA with 13-2 records (behind Middle Tennesse (14-1)), so this game will likely determine the upcoming Tourney's #2 seed. Also, it's Senior Day at Western Kentucky tonight, as the Hilltoppers will be playing their final home game of the season. And WKU has won and covered each of its last three games. That bodes well for Western Kentucky tonight, as teams playing their final home game, off 3 SU/ATS wins, have covered 60% since 1990 vs. conference foes with a winning conference record. Lay the points with the Hilltoppers. |
02-24-18 | Harvard v. Pennsylvania -4.5 | Top | 71-74 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 18 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Pennsylvania Quakers minus the points over Harvard. Penn entered this weekend's 2-game home stand off five straight road games vs. Ivy League foes. It held its own, as it went 4-1 SU and 3-2 ATS in those five road games. And it started off its 2-game home stand with a 74-46 win last night vs. Dartmouth. Penn's now won all six of its home games vs. Ivy League foes this year, and will play its final home game of the season tonight. We'll lay the points, as Penn has cashed 73% at home since 1990 when playing with revenge vs. an Ivy League foe off a win. Take Penn. |
02-24-18 | Charlotte +16 v. Marshall | Top | 75-103 | Loss | -115 | 11 h 45 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Charlotte 49ers + the points over Marshall. The Thundering Herd lost SU/ATS as a home underdog to Old Dominion in their last game, and have now been installed as a favorite vs. Charlotte, which is 0-2 SU/ATS its last two games. Unfortunately for Marshall, NCAA home favorites off a SU/ATS home dog loss have covered just 126 of 303 games vs. foes off back to back SU/ATS losses. Take Charlotte. |
02-24-18 | Kansas State v. Oklahoma -4 | Top | 77-86 | Win | 100 | 10 h 56 m | Show |
At 6 pm, our selection is on the Oklahoma Sooners minus the points over Kansas State. The Wildcats beat the Sooners by 18 in Manhattan, Kansas back in January. But I love Oklahoma to avenge that defeat this evening. Since 1990, NCAA revengers are 76% ATS off 3 double-digit SU/ATS losses vs. foes off 3 SU/ATS double-digit wins. Take Oklahoma. Good luck, as always....Al McMordie. |
02-24-18 | Georgia State v. Texas-Arlington -1.5 | Top | 81-89 | Win | 100 | 10 h 42 m | Show |
At 5:15 pm, our selection is on the Texas Arlington Mavericks minus the points over Georgia State. This is the Mavericks' final home game of the season, and they come into the game off a momentum-building 83-63 win over Georgia Southern (as a 5-point favorite). We'll lay the points with the Mavs, as home favorites with a winning record are 133-98 ATS in their final home game of the season off a game where they covered by more than 14 points. Take Arlington |
02-24-18 | Kansas v. Texas Tech -1.5 | Top | 74-72 | Loss | -115 | 4 h 9 m | Show |
At 4:15 pm, our selection is on the Texas Tech Red Raiders minus the points over Kansas. Both teams come into this game with identical 22-6 records. In Big 12 play, Kansas holds a 1-game edge, however, at 11-4, while the Red Raiders are 10-5, notwithstanding the fact that Kansas lost earlier this season, at home, to the Red Raiders. Texas Tech did lose its two previous games -- both as a favorite -- at Baylor, and at Oklahoma State. But those two upset losses have triggered a great 117-58 ATS system of mine which plays on certain teams off back to back upset losses. Moreover, Texas Tech is an awesome 16-3 ATS at home off back to back ATS losses, while Kansas is 5-12 ATS on the road off back to back SU/ATS wins vs. an opponent off back to back ATS defeats. Take Texas Tech. NCAA ELITE INFO WINNER! Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.. |
02-24-18 | Pacific -1.5 v. Loyola Marymount | Top | 71-74 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 29 m | Show |
At 4 pm, our selection is on the Pacific Tigers minus the points over Loyola Marymount. The Lions upset Santa Clara as a 4-point underdog earlier this week, and have been installed as a home underdog vs. the Tigers who are off back to back home upset losses vs. Santa Clara and San Francisco. I look for the Tigers to bounce back today, as road favorites off back to back home upsets, are a sensational 75% ATS over the past 28 years vs. conference foes off a SU/ATS win. Lay the points with Pacific. NCAA Road Warrior! Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-24-18 | Villanova v. Creighton +8 | Top | 83-89 | Win | 100 | 6 h 29 m | Show |
At 2:30 pm, our selection is on the Creighton Bluejays + the points over Villanova. The Bluejays have lost their last three lined games, including a 23-point blowout loss at Butler on Tuesday. But Creighton is a super 14-2 SU and 8-6 ATS at home this season. And over the last three seasons, it's 41-11 SU and 29-18 ATS at home, including 15-2 off a point spread defeat, and 9-0 ATS its last nine off a straight-up loss. Take Creighton. |
02-23-18 | Penguins v. Hurricanes +102 | Top | 6-1 | Loss | -100 | 16 h 23 m | Show |
At 7:35 pm, our selection is on the Carolina Hurricanes over the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Hurricanes are no doubt glad to be done playing teams from the New York Metropolitan area. In their last three games, the 'Canes have lost to the New Jersey Devils (twice) and the New York Islanders by a combined score of 11-4. Prior to that, the 'Canes had won three straight here at home against the Canucks, Avalanche, and Kings. The Penguins are hot - on a five game winning streak - but they've had the lion's share of their success this season at home and they have one of the biggest home-road biases in the league. When playing in Pittsburgh, the Pens are 23-8, but away from the Steel City, they are just 12-18. And this has been a very competitive series lately as the Hurricanes took both of the first two meetings of the season before the Pens turned the tables the last time they met on January 23 (3-1). Carolina is 100% healthy now so don't be surprised if it makes a run the rest of the way. The 'Canes are 56-32 in their last 88 home games after losing their previous game in overtime. Take Carolina. NHL High Roller Winner. As always, good luck...Al McMordie |
02-23-18 | Harvard v. Princeton +1 | Top | 72-66 | Loss | -100 | 16 h 49 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Princeton Tigers over the Harvard Crimson. These two teams are heading in opposite directions. The Crimson have won five straight, while the Tigers are on a 6-game losing streak. The opening odds have established this as a 'Pk 'em' game, which might raise an eyebrow given the current form of the two teams. Notwithstanding Princeton's poor play of late, we'll back the Tigers, as .500 (or worse) favorites (or PK) off 4+ straight losses have cashed 84% over the past 24 years vs. .500 (or better) conference foes off 4+ straight wins. Take Princeton. NCAA Elite Info Winner. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-22-18 | Clippers v. Warriors -10.5 | Top | 127-134 | Loss | -102 | 16 h 27 m | Show |
At 10:35 pm, our selection is on the Golden State Warriors minus the points over the Los Angeles Clippers. These two teams met here in Oakland back on January 10, and the Clippers upset the Warriors, 125-106, as a 12-point underdog. But that was a rare win for Doc Rivers’ squad against Golden State, as the Clippers had lost the previous 12 meetings, and gone 4-8 ATS in those games. I look for things to get back to normal on Thursday, and for the Warriors to blow out the Clippers, as Golden State is 18-7 ATS in the regular season when playing with revenge vs. a foe whose win percentage is greater than .415. Additionally, the Clippers are on a two-game win streak, including a 129-119 upset win over the Celtics before the All-Star Break, while the Warriors lost to Portland in their last game. That doesn’t bode well for Los Angeles, as NBA teams off back to back wins that scored more than 116 points in their previous game are a poor 95-134 ATS vs. foes off a loss. Finally, in their first game after the All-Star Break, home teams off a loss that were playing with revenge have gone 63-42 ATS since 1991. Take Golden State. NBA TV Game of the Month! Good luck, as always…Al McMordie. |
02-22-18 | Avalanche v. Oilers -135 | Top | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 7 h 35 m | Show |
At 9:05 pm, our selection is on the Edmonton Oilers over the Colorado Avalanche. The Oilers might feature the best young player in world in Connor McDavid, but they are far from the best team -- even in their own Division -- right now. The Oilers have really missed the services of McDavid's back-up at the Center position, fellow superstar Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, who has been out since January 13 with a rib injury. Nugent-Hopkins just had his first skate with the team since suffering that injury, but he is still at least two weeks away from a return to action. But the Oilers' injury woes are nothing compared with that of the Avalanche. Colorado's defense is completely decimated right now, with no fewer than four blue-line regulars out indefinitely with various maladies (Johnson, Lindholm, Barberio, and Boikov). It's true that Edmonton has won just one of its last eight games (and six of its last 18). But the Oilers are 4-1 in the last five meetings of these two, while the Avs are 7-23 in their last 30 vs. Pacific teams and 1-5 in their last six games playing on one day of rest. Take the Oilers. As always, good luck...Al McMordie. |
02-22-18 | Charlotte +18.5 v. Western Kentucky | Top | 55-93 | Loss | -103 | 14 h 43 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Charlotte 49ers + the points over Western Kentucky. It's true that the Hilltoppers are off back to back SU/ATS wins, while the 49ers are currently riding a 12-game losing streak. But the second-best game the 49ers played during this losing streak was against these Hilltoppers, in Charlotte. The 49ers were 13.5-point underdogs in that game, yet lost by only 10, and covered the 13.5-point spread. That was the 3rd straight time the 49ers have covered vs. the Hilltoppers, and I expect the 49ers to once again cover vs. Western Kentucky. Charlotte falls into three of my very best College Basketball systems, with records of 503-347, 379-234 and 328-193 ATS since 1990. And Western Kentucky is an awful 17% ATS as a favorite since 1990 off back to back ATS wins, if its opponent is off a SU/ATS loss. Take the points with the 49ers. Conference USA Game of the Year. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-22-18 | NC-Wilmington +7.5 v. William & Mary | Top | 83-96 | Loss | -106 | 13 h 56 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the NC Wilmington Seahawks + the points over William & Mary. Wilmington stumbled at home its last time out when it lost to Charleston. But it had covered four straight prior to that defeat. I expect Wilmington to resume its winning ways (in Vegas), as it's gone 64-41-3 ATS since 1993 when playing with revenge from a loss earlier in the season (Bill and Mary beat Wilmington by 3 on Jan. 27). Take NC Wilmington + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-22-18 | Wisconsin v. Northwestern -3 | Top | 70-64 | Loss | -107 | 13 h 55 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Northwestern Wildcats minus the points over Wisconsin. This will be the Wildcats' final home game of the season. And I expect them to snap their 4-game losing streak, and blow out the 13-16 Badgers. Since 1990, Big 10 Conference teams have gone 45-25 ATS as a favorite in their final home game of the season, if they were matched up against an opponent with a losing record. And if their foe was also off a SU/ATS win, then our 45-25 stat zooms to 10-1 ATS. Take the Wildcats. |
02-22-18 | Connecticut v. Cincinnati -19 | Top | 52-77 | Win | 100 | 13 h 55 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Cincinnati Bearcats minus the points over Connecticut. Cincy was upset in each of its last two games -- at Houston, and at home vs. Wichita. But Cincy should bounce back on this Thursday evening, as they will face a 13-14 UConn squad which has lost eight of its last 10 games vs. the point spread. Since 1990, Cincy has covered 86% as a big favorite of more than -17 points off an upset loss. And it's 6-1 SU and 5-2 ATS its last seven vs. UConn, as well as 3-0 SU/ATS at home vs. the Huskies the last three seasons. Lay the points. |
02-21-18 | San Jose State +22.5 v. Nevada | Top | 67-80 | Win | 100 | 16 h 28 m | Show |
At 10 pm, our selection is on the San Jose St. Spartans + the points over Nevada. Nevada comes into this game off three SU/ATS wins. But we'll fade the Wolf Pack, as Mountain West Conference favorites of 14+ points, off back to back wins, have gone 20-40 ATS vs. conference foes. Additionally, San Jose falls into several of my favorite systems, with records of 185-88 and 401-240 ATS since 1990. Take San Jose. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-21-18 | Bradley v. Missouri State -6 | Top | 82-78 | Loss | -105 | 15 h 35 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Missouri State Bears minus the points over Bradley. The Bears stumbled in their last game, which was here at home vs. Drake. Missouri State was favored by 7, but lost outright, 67-63. However, the Bears generally bounce back at home off a home loss, as they've covered 58.9% since 1990, including 10-1 ATS their last 11 when priced as a favorite of less than 7 points. Take Missouri State. |
02-21-18 | TCU v. Iowa State +6.5 | Top | 89-83 | Win | 100 | 14 h 29 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Iowa State Cyclones plus the points over TCU. This is a tough spot for Jamie Dixon's Horned Frogs. Not only is Iowa State off back to back losses, but it also will be out for blood after losing by 23 points in Forth Worth in January. And Iowa State is 15-4 ATS its last 19 off back to back losses. And it's 32-15-4 ATS when playing with revenge from a loss by more than 10 points earlier in the season. Take the Cyclones. |
02-21-18 | Georgia Tech +20 v. Virginia | Top | 54-65 | Win | 100 | 15 h 44 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets + the points over Virginia. These two teams met in Atlanta, in January, and the Cavs won, 64-48. Thus, Georgia Tech will be looking for revenge tonight. The Yellow Jackets were blown out by 20 points, at home by Virginia Tech, in their last game. And that was their 5th straight loss (both SU and ATS). I love the Jackets to bounce back tonight in Charlottesville, as NCAA underdogs (or PK) on 5-game SU and ATS losing streaks, are 170-111 ATS if they also failed to cover the spread by 10+ points in their previous game! Even better: if our team is playing with revenge from a loss at home earlier in the season, then our 170-111 stat zooms to 38-16 ATS. Take Georgia Tech. NCAA Game of the Month. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-21-18 | SMU -7 v. East Carolina | Top | 77-58 | Win | 100 | 13 h 29 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the SMU Mustangs minus the points over East Carolina. The Mustangs played about as bad a game as a team could play last Saturday when it lost 52-37 at Central Florida. SMU shot just 25% from the field (11 of 43) in that defeat, and it was its 5th straight loss, overall (and 3rd straight ATS). But I expect them to bounce back at East Carolina. SMU's been installed as a sizable road favorite. And NCAA favorites of more than 6 points, off 3 SU/ATS losses, that scored 46 or less points in their previous game, have cashed 68.4%. Take SMU. |
02-21-18 | Georgia v. South Carolina -2 | Top | 57-66 | Win | 100 | 13 h 0 m | Show |
At 6:30 pm, our selection is on the South Carolina Gamecocks minus the points over Georgia. South Carolina stunned the 23-3 Auburn Tigers, 84-75, as a 7-point underdog last Saturday. And I look for them to follow-up that victory with a blowout of Georgia. Indeed, home teams off upset wins as 7-point (or greater) dogs over .850 (or better) conference foes have gone 111-74 ATS. Take the Gamecocks. |
02-20-18 | Ole Miss +8 v. Missouri | Top | 90-87 | Win | 100 | 6 h 17 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Ole Miss Rebels + the points over Missouri. The Rebels are on a 7-game SU/ATS losing streak, and were blown out by rival Miss State, 79-62, on Saturday. But SEC Conference underdogs of +6 or more points, off more than 5 point spread defeats in a row, have gone 49-27 ATS vs. conference foes. And Ole Miss is 41-20 ATS off a double-digit loss. Take the points with Mississippi. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-20-18 | Sharks v. Blues -155 | Top | 3-2 | Loss | -155 | 8 h 30 m | Show |
At 8:05 pm, our selection is on the St. Louis Blues over the San Jose Sharks. The Blues come into this game on a three game losing streak - something that is quite rare for them. Only one of those losses was at home however, and that was to the defending Stanley Cup Champion Penguins nine days ago by a 4-1 margin. They return here after back-to-back road losses in Nashville and Dallas. The Sharks meanwhile are on a two-game home winning streak, but they're just .500 on the road this season (15-15) and they haven't won in St. Louis in almost two years. Already thin at the Center position with the loss of veteran Joe Thornton, the Sharks will also be without Tomas Hertl tonight as he left the game on February 13 against Arizona and is not ready to return. The Sharks are 1-6 in their last seven games vs. teams from the Central Division and 1-9 in their last 10 road games vs. teams with a home winning % of greater than .600. Take St. Louis. NHL Elite Info Winner. As always, good luck...Al McMordie. |
02-20-18 | Blue Jackets -115 v. Devils | Top | 2-1 | Win | 100 | 4 h 23 m | Show |
At 7:05 pm, our selection is on the Columbus Blue Jackets over the New Jersey Devils. The Jackets are on a 3-game losing streak, including a 5-2 home loss to Pittsburgh on Sunday, and now sit 1 point outside of the eighth (and final) playoff berth in the Eastern Conference. And it's been a perplexing 2-8 run for the Blue Jackets over their last 10 games, as they've not been without their offensive chances. Indeed, they've averaged 41.5 shots on goal over their last 10 games, but have scored just 2.6 goals per game. But I love Columbus to rebound this evening, as it's 8-1 off a loss by more than 2 goals, and it's won five of the last six meetings vs. the Devils, as well as six of the last seven in New Jersey. Take Columbus. NHL High Roller Winner. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |

02-20-18 | Mississippi State v. Texas A&M -6.5 | Top | 93-81 | Loss | -109 | 14 h 10 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Texas A&M Aggies minus the points over Mississippi State. The Aggies are 17-10 this season, but return home after losing two road games at Mizzou and Arkansas. However, the good news for Texas A&M tonight is that it's 50-17 ATS at home off a loss when it owns a .440 (or better) record, and its foe is not off a SU/ATS loss. And it's also a fantastic 37-15 ATS if it lost ATS in each of its two previous games. Lay the points with Texas A&M. |
02-20-18 | Central Michigan v. Western Michigan -5.5 | Top | 81-83 | Loss | -105 | 14 h 10 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Western Michigan Broncos minus the points over Central Michigan. These two rivals have yet to meet this season, but they'll meet twice over a 10-day period, starting with tonight's game. The Broncos were upset by Bowling Green and Northern Illinois in each of their last two games. But both of those were on the road. Tonight's game is at home, where Western Michigan is 19-5 SU and 15-9 ATS its last 24 Mid-American Conference games. Even better: teams off back to back road upset losses are a super 57% ATS since 1990. Take Western Michigan. |
02-20-18 | The Citadel +20.5 v. East Tennessee State | Top | 84-82 | Win | 100 | 14 h 9 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on The Citadel + the points over East Tennessee State. The Bulldogs narrowly lost to the Buccaneers, 73-71, as a 15.5-point underdog in late January. And they're also 0-3 ATS over their last three games. But we'll grab the points with the Bulldogs, as revenge-minded College Basketball underdogs of +20 or more points, off 3 ATS losses, are 66% since 1992. Take The Citadel. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-19-18 | Oklahoma +8.5 v. Kansas | Top | 74-104 | Loss | -102 | 19 h 19 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Oklahoma Sooners + the points over Kansas. The Sooners have hit a tailspin, as they're on a 5-game losing streak (and a 7-game ATS losing streak). They'll attempt to get back into the win column 'in Vegas' tonight, as they'll take on a Kansas Jayhawks team which is 21-6 SU and 13-12 ATS. Interestingly, the last time the Sooners covered the point spread was against these Jayhawks. Oklahoma won that game, 85-80, as a 2-point home favorite. We had a big play on the Sooners in that game, and will take them again here, as a road underdog. For technical support, consider that .600 (or better) teams, off 5+ losses, have covered 67% since 1990 as road dogs of more than 6 points. Also, Oklahoma is a super 23-12 ATS vs. Kansas when not laying more than 2 points. And Kansas is an awful 3-14-1 ATS its last 18 at home vs. Big 12 Conference foes. Take the points with the Sooners. NCAA High Roller Winner. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-19-18 | Kings v. Blackhawks -105 | Top | 3-1 | Loss | -105 | 19 h 47 m | Show |
At 8:35 pm, our selection is on the Chicago Blackhawks over the Los Angeles Kings. These two clubs have been two of the most dominant in the league this decade, having won five of the last eight Stanley Cups. But you'd never know it from looking at their current places in the standings. The Kings sit fifth in the Pacific while somewhat shockingly the Blackhawks are in seventh and last place in the Central and if the season ended today neither of these former power-houses would make the post-season. At least the Hawks know how to end a losing streak. Chicago had lost eight in a row before its last game and all the Hawks did in that one was embarrass a very good team in the Capitals, 7-1, here at home. They'll try to keep it going against the Kings, who ended their own slump -- albeit just a three-game one -- by beating the Sabres their last time out. With #1 goalie Corey Crawford on the shelf, the Hawks have turned mainly to Anton Forsberg and he's been mostly solid, as in his performance against the Caps last time out. The home team is 7-2 in the last nine meetings. Take Chicago. As always, good luck...Al McMordie. |
02-19-18 | Senators v. Predators -215 | Top | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 18 h 17 m | Show |
At 8:05 pm, our selection is on the Nashville Predators over the Ottawa Senators. The Preds lost a pair to the Flames and Red Wings coming into tonight and before that they beat the Blues and Canadiens after losing back-to-back to the Maple Leafs and Senators. That Senators loss was a 4-3 OT defeat in Ottawa and sets up Nashville for a revenge match at home where the Predators are 19-10 on the season. But that last victory was the Senators first in the last five meetings of these two going all the way back to 2014. Already short-handed due to injuries and a suspension, the Senators were without LW Ryan Dzingel in their last game due to a family matter and it's likely they'll have to go without him again tonight. This is in stark contrast to the Predators who have no significant injuries for this game. The Preds have allowed three goals in each of their last three games, but that may be a good thing for tonight as they are 7-0 in their last seven games following that situation. Take Nashville. |
02-19-18 | Wild -115 v. Islanders | Top | 5-3 | Win | 100 | 11 h 8 m | Show |
At 1:05 pm, our selection is on the Minnesota Wild over the NY Islanders. The Wild dropped their two previous games -- both at home -- to the Capitals and Ducks. But I love them to bounce back this afternoon, as they're 8-1 this season off back to back losses. The Islanders, meanwhile, upset the Hurricanes in Raleigh, 3-0, on Friday. Unfortunately, the Isles are 22-40 at home off a division road win, and are also a poor 166-214 off a win by 2+ goals. Take Minnesota. |
02-18-18 | Penn State v. Purdue -7.5 | Top | 73-76 | Loss | -100 | 13 h 48 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Purdue Boilermakers minus the points over Penn State. The Boilers have dropped their last three games, including two upset losses as a double-digit favorite (vs. Ohio State and at Wisconsin). But I love the Boilermakers to bounce back tonight at home, as home favorites off an upset loss as a favorite of more than 4 points, and 3 losses, overall, have covered 65.9% since 1990 vs. conference foes off 3+ wins (and 8-1 ATS the last 2+ seasons). Take Purdue. NCAA Hoops High Roller. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-18-18 | Maple Leafs -123 v. Red Wings | Top | 3-2 | Win | 100 | 10 h 19 m | Show |
At 7:05 pm, our selection is on the Toronto Maple Leafs over Detroit. The Leafs had won nine of 10 before stumbling in Pittsburgh last night. But the Penguins, themselves, are 14-4 their last 18, so there was not any shame for the Leafs to have lost that game. They'll step down in class this evening when they face a Red Wings club which has lost 18 of its 30 home games this season. Even worse for Detroit: it's lost five of the last six meetings vs. Toronto. And the Wings are an awful 11-24 this season vs. good offensive teams that score at least 2.85 goals per game. Take the Maple Leafs. As always, good luck...Al McMordie. |
02-18-18 | Penguins v. Blue Jackets -103 | Top | 5-2 | Loss | -103 | 9 h 19 m | Show |
At 6:05 pm, our selection is on the Columbus Blue Jackets over Pittsburgh. Certainly, there's nothing the Jackets want more than to avenge their Playoff series defeat to these Penguins last season. They've had two opportunities already this season, but came up a goal short in each game. But both of those games were in Pittsburgh. So, this will be the first time they'll get the Pens here at home since that Playoff ouster. Columbus has won six of the last eight meetings at home vs. Pittsburgh. And they've averaged 4.5 goals per game in the previous four home meetings. Take Columbus. |
02-18-18 | Pittsburgh +22 v. Florida State | Top | 75-88 | Win | 100 | 11 h 42 m | Show |
At 6 pm, our selection is on the Pittsburgh Panthers + the points over Florida State. The Panthers have lost their last four games by 33, 24, 34 and 23 points. And they've failed to cover the spread in each. But those games set up our play today, as double-digit underdogs off 3 SU/ATS losses by more than 20 points each, have covered 65% over the past 28 years. Additionally, the Panthers have covered five of the last seven in this series, and scored upset wins over the Seminoles each of the past two seasons. Take the points with Pittsburgh. NCAA Elite Info Winner. Good luck, as always....Al McMordie. |
02-18-18 | Devils v. Hurricanes -161 | Top | 3-2 | Loss | -161 | 8 h 9 m | Show |
At 5:05 pm, our selection is on the Carolina Hurricanes over the New Jersey Devils. The Hurricanes play their third game in four days against New York Metropolitan area teams, and this evening will represent a revenge situation for them. Three nights ago they lost in New Jersey to the Devils by a 5-2 margin and then followed that up with a real stinker here at home, losing to the Islanders, 3-0. The good news is that their defense has been outstanding, allowing just 22 shots on goal in each of those last two, and in the loss to New York, it was simply a matter of a hot goaltender as the 'Canes couldn't get any of their 45 shots past Isles net-minder Thomas Greiss. A similar number of shots tonight against Devils goalie Kevin Kinkaid and his mediocre .893 saves percentage should result in a 'Canes victory. The Devils come into tonight off of a huge win over the East-leading Lightning so a let-down in a back-to-back situation is a very good possibility. New Jersey is also a poor 1-5 in its last six games playing without rest. Take Carolina. |
02-18-18 | Loyola-Chicago v. Evansville +5.5 | Top | 76-66 | Loss | -106 | 9 h 41 m | Show |
At 4 pm, our selection is on the Evansville Purple Aces + the points over Loyola Chicago. Loyola's 22-5, and defeated the Aces earlier this season, 66-59, as n 8-point favorite. They've been installed as a road favorite this afternoon, notwithstanding the fact that Evansville is 13-2 this season at home (and 7-4 ATS). We'll grab the points with the home underdog, as home teams that are more than 10 games above .500 at home on the season have cashed 62% when getting more than 4 points. Take Evansville. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-18-18 | Nebraska v. Illinois +1.5 | Top | 66-72 | Win | 100 | 7 h 22 m | Show |
At 3:30 pm, our selection is on the Illinois Illini over Nebraska. The Illini lost at Indiana on Wednesday, 78-68, as a 9.5-point underdog. And that was Illinois' 4th straight defeat, overall. But I love Illinois to bounce back at home this afternoon, as it's 94-57 ATS off a Big 10 defeat, provided Illinois was an underdog in that previous game. We actually had a big play on the Illini when these two teams met earlier this season in Lincoln, and the Illini rewarded us with a nice win as a 4.5-point underdog. Interestingly, that was the last time Nebraska failed to cover the spread, as they're 8-0 ATS since (to go win a 6-0 SU run). But they fall into a negative 57-110 ATS system of mine which goes against certain teams on long win streaks. Take Illinois. NCAA Roadkill Winner. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-18-18 | South Florida +13.5 v. Tulsa | Top | 61-73 | Win | 100 | 8 h 41 m | Show |
At 3 pm, our selection is on the South Florida Bulls + the points over Tulsa. The Golden Hurricane upset Connecticut on the road, 73-71, on Thursday. They'll now take on a Bulls team currently riding a six-game losing streak (including a 9-point loss vs. Tulsa two weeks ago). Unfortunately for Tulsa, double-digit home favorites generally suffer letdowns off road upset wins, if they're matched up against conference foes off a loss, provided such conference foe also has a losing record (both in conference play, and overall). Since 1990, our home teams in this situation have gone 167-233 ATS. Take the Bulls + the points. |
02-18-18 | DePaul v. Seton Hall -10.5 | Top | 77-82 | Loss | -106 | 6 h 41 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is on the Seton Hall Pirates minus the points over DePaul. Seton Hall is 17-9 on the year, but 0-4 SU/ATS its last four games. But the good news for Pirates fans is that .555 (or better) teams, on a 4-game SU/ATS losing streak, tend to bounce back when favored by 6+ points, as they've gone 66% ATS since 1990. Take the Pirates. |
02-17-18 | Capitals v. Blackhawks +100 | Top | 1-7 | Win | 100 | 16 h 37 m | Show |
At 8:35 pm, our selection is on the Chicago Blackhawks over the Washington Capitals. It's true that the Blackhawks have lost eight straight games. And it's also true that the Capitals blew out Chicago when these two teams met in DC earlier this season by a 6-2 score. But Chicago can take heart in the fact that it out-shot the Caps by a 39-25 count in that defeat. And the fact that Chicago's on an 8-game losing streak has created terrific line value in this game, and Chicago's rarely installed as an underdog or PK at home (this will be just the 2nd time this season). Washington is an awful 1-6 its last seven games as a road favorite. Take Chicago. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-17-18 | Ole Miss +7.5 v. Mississippi State | Top | 62-79 | Loss | -103 | 13 h 41 m | Show |
At 8:30 pm, our selection is on the Ole Miss Rebels + the points over Mississippi State. The Rebels have dropped their last six games (both SU and ATS). The knee-jerk reaction might be to fade Mississippi. But consider that SEC Conference underdogs of +6 (or more) points, on a 4-game (or worse) ATS losing streak, have gone 85.3% ATS vs. Conference foes not off an ATS defeat. Take Ole Miss. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-17-18 | North Carolina v. Louisville -1 | Top | 93-76 | Loss | -107 | 12 h 26 m | Show |
At 8:15 pm, our selection is on the Louisville Cardinals over North Carolina. The Tar Heels are on a 4-game SU/ATS win streak. But three of those four games were at home. And the lone road game was at NC State. And the Tar Heels played that game with major revenge from a loss to the Wolfpack just two weeks earlier. Tonight, however, North Carolina is not playing with revenge. And Carolina has been awful away from home vs. revenge-minded conference foes if Carolina was off a win, as it's 1-10-1 ATS. Take Louisville. |
02-17-18 | Texas Tech v. Baylor -1.5 | Top | 57-59 | Win | 100 | 6 h 7 m | Show |
At 7:30 pm, our selection is on the Baylor Bears minus the points over Texas Tech. Baylor comes into this game red-hot, and has won its last four games, while it has covered its last five. And it falls into a 'momentum' system of mine which has cashed 63% which plays on certain favorites off back to back SU/ATS wins. Texas Tech, meanwhile, is an awful 71-117 ATS away from home as an underdog in the regular season, including 23-49-1 ATS vs. foes off back to back wins. Finally, the Bears lost to the Red Raiders by 24 in Lubbock back in December. But Baylor's 65% over the past 28 years when favored and playing with revenge from a 15-point (or worse) defeat. Take Baylor. |
02-17-18 | Massachusetts +15.5 v. Davidson | Top | 78-83 | Win | 100 | 11 h 12 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Massachusetts Minutemen + the points over Davidson. UMass comes into this evening's game off back to back SU/ATS losses. But it falls into 77-27 and 390-210 ATS systems of mine that play on certain double-digit underdogs off back to back losses. Moreover, UMass is a super 24-3 ATS as a road underdog of 6+ points in conference games off a loss, if its opponent had a .400 (or better) ATS record. Take the Minutemen. |
02-17-18 | Nevada v. Utah State +5.5 | Top | 93-87 | Loss | -105 | 5 h 41 m | Show |
At 6 pm, our selection is on the Utah State Aggies + the points over Nevada. The Wolf Pack come into this game off back to back wins, and are ranked among the Top 25 teams in the country, with a 22-5 record. But they've been pedestrian against the spread, as they're just 13-12 ATS this season, and just 6-7 ATS on the road. Today, they'll have to take on an Aggies squad looking to make amends for an awful, 78-63, loss at New Mexico this past Wednesday. But Utah State's back home now, and it has won 10 of its 13 home games, straight-up (6-5 ATS) this year, and is also playing with revenge from a 26-point loss in Reno back in January. The Aggies are a solid 13-3 ATS since 1992 at home off a loss, when playing with same season revenge, including a perfect 7-0 ATS since 2007. Take Utah State. |
02-17-18 | UC-Davis +7.5 v. UC-Santa Barbara | Top | 71-54 | Win | 100 | 11 h 39 m | Show |
At 5 pm, our selection is on the Cal Davis Aggies + the points over Cal Santa Barbara. UCSB comes into this game on an impressive 8-game win streak. Unfortunately, Cal Santa Barbara has burned money in the regular season off 3+ wins. Since 1990, they're an ugly 36-59-2 ATS, including 0-8 ATS vs. .636 (or better) foes if the Gauchos covered their two previous games. Take Cal Davis. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-17-18 | Nebraska-Omaha +15 v. South Dakota | Top | 64-79 | Push | 0 | 3 h 6 m | Show |
At 4:30 pm, our selection is on the Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks + the points over South Dakota. Omaha fell by 14 points at home earlier this season to South Dakota. But the Mavericks have been solid in the revenge role over the years, as they're 22-7-1 ATS their last 30. South Dakota, meanwhile, has won its last five, and covered its last four. But it falls into a negative 'contrarian' system of mine which is 51-125 ATS which goes against certain hot teams. Take the double-digits with Omaha. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-17-18 | Oilers -108 v. Coyotes | Top | 0-1 | Loss | -108 | 11 h 7 m | Show |
At 4:05 pm, our selection is on the Edmonton Oilers over the Arizona Coyotes. For the second time this season, the Coyotes -- who are the worst team in the NHL -- have a three-game winning streak. They've beaten the Sharks in San Jose and the Canadiens and Blackhawks here at home coming into this match-up with the Oilers. Edmonton has a streak of its own going, but not the kind to be pleased with. The Oilers have lost five straight coming into this game, their longest such losing streak of the season. When you're as bad as Arizona is, there really isn't any home-ice advantage to be had. The Coyotes have the same number of wins on the road this season (eight) as they do here at the Gila River Arena. And the fact that they're playing a poor road team likely won't matter either as they are 1-7 in their last eight home games vs. teams with a road winning % of less than .400. The Oilers are 5-0 in the last five meetings while Arizona is 1-9 in their last 10 following a three game unbeaten streak. Take Edmonton. |
02-17-18 | South Alabama v. Coastal Carolina -5 | Top | 70-72 | Loss | -106 | 10 h 1 m | Show |
At 3:30 pm, our selection is on the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers minus the points over South Alabama. The Jaguars come into this afternoon's game on a 3-game SU/ATS win streak. Unfortunately, South Alabama's an awful 1-7-1 ATS off 3 SU/ATS wins when playing a foe not off a SU/ATS win. Meanwhile, Coastal Carolina's cashed 75% over the past 10 years vs. foes off 3 SU/ATS wins. And it's cashed 63% as a favorite vs. foes off a win, including 89% vs. foes with a winning ATS record. Finally, this will be Coastal Carolina's final home game of the season. And it comes into today's game off back to back upset losses. Since 1990, NCAA teams playing their final home game of the season have cashed 62.1% if they were favored by 3+ points, and off back-to-back upset losses. Take the Chanticleers. Sun Belt Favorite of the Year. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-17-18 | Western Illinois +17.5 v. South Dakota State | Top | 62-82 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 40 m | Show |
At 3 pm, our selection is on the Western Illinois Leathernecks + the points over South Dakota State. It's true that the Jackrabbits blew out Western Illinois by 28 four weeks ago. But the Leathernecks have been solid on the road the past seven seasons when playing with revenge, as they've cashed 62%, including 80% as a double-digit underdog. And Western Illinois also falls into a 140-54 ATS system of mine which plays on certain double-digit underdogs off back to back losses. Take the Leathernecks. |
02-17-18 | Ducks v. Wild -122 | Top | 3-2 | Loss | -122 | 9 h 7 m | Show |
At 2:05 pm, our selection is on the Minnesota Wild over the Anaheim Ducks. The Wild were blown out here at home in their last game by the Washington Capitals. But Minny generally bounces back off of losses (16-9), and especially after losing by 3 or more goals, as they're 11-2 in that situation. Meanwhile, Anaheim is a dreadful 11-23 (minus 17 games on the money line) off a road win, and 17-26 when playing their third road game over a 5-day period. Take the Wild. |
02-17-18 | Alabama v. Kentucky -4.5 | Top | 71-81 | Win | 100 | 8 h 41 m | Show |
At 2 pm, our selection is on the Kentucky Wildcats minus the points over Alabama. The Crimson Tide come into today's game off back to back SU/ATS wins. But 'Bama is an awful 32-51-1 ATS away from home off back to back SU/ATS wins when priced as a single-digit underdog (or PK), including 11-34 ATS if their W/L record wasn't worse than their opponent's. Take Kentucky. |
02-17-18 | George Mason v. La Salle -8.5 | Top | 62-69 | Loss | -103 | 8 h 40 m | Show |
At 2 pm, our selection is on the La Salle Explorers minus the points over George Mason. The Explorers have dropped five straight games ATS, but this ATS losing streak has triggered a terrific 'contrarian' system of mine which is 110-56 ATS since 1990. Moreover, the Patriots upset Dayton, 85-67, as a 4-point home dog on Wednesday. But George Mason is a wallet-busting 5-19-1 ATS off an upset conference win. Take La Salle. |
02-17-18 | Southern Illinois v. Indiana State -2.5 | Top | 76-72 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 39 m | Show |
At 2 pm, our selection is on the Indiana State Sycamores minus the points over Southern Illinois. Indiana State's on a 3-game SU/ATS losing streak. But I love them to bounce back on Saturday, as Missouri Valley Conference teams have cashed 61.6% at home over the past 26 years off 3 SU/ATS losses, including 69.4% ATS when playing with revenge from a loss earlier in the season. With the Sycamores, indeed, looking to avenge their 82-77 loss in Carbondale last month, we'll lay the points with Indiana State today. |
02-17-18 | Air Force v. Boise State -15.5 | Top | 52-76 | Win | 100 | 7 h 58 m | Show |
At 2 pm, our selection is on the Boise State Broncos minus the points over Air Force. Boise's 20-6, but comes into this game off back to back upset losses to Utah State and Nevada. However, .725 (or better) teams are an awesome 65.7% ATS over the past 25 years at home when favored by more than 10 points, if they're off back to back upset defeats! Lay the points with the Broncos. NCAA Elite Info Winner. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-17-18 | Indiana v. Iowa +2 | Top | 84-82 | Push | 0 | 7 h 35 m | Show |
At 2 pm, our selection is on the Iowa Hawkeyes + the points over Indiana. These two teams met earlier this season, and the Hawks fell by 13 points in Bloomington. Currently, the Hawkeyes are mired in a 4-game losing streak, and have been installed as a home dog vs. Indiana, which is 16-9 ATS on the season, and has covered its last four games. But Iowa's a stellar 14-0 ATS as a revenge-minded home dog of +1.5 or more points vs. foes off a SU/ATS win, if that foe also has a winning ATS record. Take Iowa. NCAA Roadkill Winner. Good luck, as always...Al McMOrdie. |
02-16-18 | Islanders v. Hurricanes -165 | Top | 3-0 | Loss | -165 | 14 h 15 m | Show |
At 7:35 pm, our selection is on the Carolina Hurricanes over the New York Islanders. The Islanders shut out the Rangers on Thursday night, 3-0. But before we get too excited, lets consider that this has become par for the course. The Isles have now taken each of the last six meetings vs. the Rangers and 10 of the last 11, so it's hard to draw too much of a conclusion from this latest beat-down. Things will get a little tougher tonight as New York ventures into Raleigh where the 'Canes have a winning record this season. And they've won their last three home games by a combined score of 14-5. The Isles are banged-up right now with five regular players either out for an extended period or questionable for tonight with various injuries. They're also just 1-5 in their last 6 games playing without a day off, while the Hurricanes are 10-2 in their last 12 vs. teams with a losing record. Take Carolina. As always, good luck...Al McMordie. |
02-16-18 | Bowling Green v. Buffalo -14 | Top | 82-95 | Loss | -103 | 14 h 39 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Buffalo Bulls minus the points over Bowling Green. The Falcons come into this game off back to back upset wins, and have covered five in a row, overall. The knee-jerk reaction might be to take the double-digits with the Falcons, especially given that Buffalo's an awful 0-4-2 ATS in its last six games. But consider that, since 1992, double-digit road underdogs have covered just 36% vs. foes off 4+ point spread defeats! Take Buffalo minus the points. NCAA High Roller Winner. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-15-18 | Hawaii +9 v. Cal-Irvine | Top | 62-61 | Win | 100 | 18 h 21 m | Show |
At 11 pm, our selection is on the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors + the points over Cal Irvine. This game is a classic example of two teams going in opposite directions. The Anteaters are on a 5-game SU/ATS win streak, while Hawaii has lost its last five games, and has failed to cover three straight. But Big West Conference teams are an awesome 24-4 ATS off three straight ATS defeats when matched up against a conference foe off back to back ATS wins, including a perfect 11-0 ATS if they also owned a better W/L record (which Hawaii does). Take the Rainbow Warriors. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |

02-15-18 | Colorado v. Washington State +3.5 | Top | 69-73 | Win | 101 | 18 h 20 m | Show |
At 11 pm, our selection is on the Washington State Cougars + the points over Colorado. Wazzu is on a 7-game SU/ATS losing streak. And it's also failed to cover in 11 of its last 12. But, as faithful followers know, I often like to play on teams in freefalls, as such losing streaks often confer value. And this is certainly one of those times, as Washington State falls into a 119-54 ATS system of mine which plays on certain teams on long losing streaks. Also, Colorado has lost its last five games ATS as a road favorite, and is also a horrid 3-16-1 ATS off back to back wins (and 1-8-1 ATS off 3+ wins). Finally, Washington State lost to the Buffaloes earlier this season in Boulder. But Colorado is a wallet-busting 13-33-2 ATS on the road vs. revenge-minded foes. Take Washington State + the points. NCAA Hoops Payback Payday. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-15-18 | Lakers v. Wolves -10 | Top | 111-119 | Loss | -105 | 16 h 29 m | Show |
At 9:05 pm, our selection is on the Minnesota Timberwolves minus the points over the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers are in a tough spot in this ballgame, as it’s their last game going into the All Star Break. And, even worse for the Lakers, they’re on the road, they’re playing without rest, and their opponent — the Minnesota Timberwolves — are off a loss. That doesn’t bode well for the Lakers, as unrested NBA teams playing on the road, in their final game before the break, are an awful 30-53 ATS vs. foes off a loss. Take the Timberwolves. Good luck, as always…Al McMordie. |
02-15-18 | Canadiens +100 v. Coyotes | Top | 2-5 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 14 m | Show |
At 9:05 pm, our selection is on the Montreal Canadiens over Arizona. The Canadiens played last night in Colorado, and used their back-up goalie, Antti Niemi, between the pipes. So, #1 netminder, Carey Price, will get the start tonight. Montreal will face a Coyotes squad off back to back wins vs. Chicago (6-1) and San Jose (2-1). Unfortunately for Arizona, it's an awful 7-34 after not allowing 3+ goals in each of its two previous games, including 0-13 its last 13. Take Montreal. Good luck, as always....Al McMordie. |
02-15-18 | Oregon v. USC -5 | Top | 70-72 | Loss | -101 | 16 h 21 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Southern Cal Trojans minus the points over Oregon. USC and Oregon both have won 17 games this season. And each team has just five losses in Pac-12 Conference play. So, this game will have a big impact on the eventual conference standings for the post-season Tournament. It's true that the Trojans come into tonight's game on a 3-game losing streak. But all three of those games were on the road. Here, in Los Angeles, the Trojans have won their last five conference games (3-1-1 ATS). And .651 (or better) teams are 83% ATS the past 10 years at home off 3 road losses. Lay the points with the Trojans. |
02-15-18 | Middle Tennessee v. Southern Miss +7 | Top | 72-62 | Loss | -103 | 15 h 22 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Southern Miss Golden Eagles + the points over Middle Tennessee St. The Blue Raiders have won their last seven games, and also easily defeated the Golden Eagles by 20 points in Murfreesboro earlier this season. So, don't be surprised if Middle Tennessee comes out a bit complacent, and gets knocked off tonight by Southern Miss. And the Golden Eagles have been playing well, of late, as they've covered their last three games, including a 72-54 blowout of Charlotte last Saturday. That bodes well for them tonight, as home dogs off a double-digit straight-up win, and 3 ATS wins, are a super 163-106 ATS since 1990 vs. foes off a win. Even better: Southern Miss is a perfect 7-0 ATS at home this season, and 24-9 ATS their last 33 in Hattiesburg. Take the Golden Eagles. |
02-15-18 | Sabres v. Senators -133 | Top | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 15 h 58 m | Show |
At 7:35 pm, our selection is on the Ottawa Senators over the Buffalo Sabres. In one of the biggest upsets so far in the second half of the season, the Sabres beat the mighty Lightning on Tuesday. Not only did the Sabres net five goals in the victory, but they also out-shot the Bolts by a 33-29 margin. Tonight, they'll take on the Ottawa Senators, who looked like they might turn their season around when they won four of five games to start the month of February -- with three of those coming right here at the Canadian Tire Centre. But they had to go back on the road for their last two, and promptly lost both in Toronto and Pittsburgh. But those are two of the hottest teams around right now. So, tonight the 'Nats come back home to play a much worse opponent in the Sabres. And over the last two seasons, Ottawa is 14-5 in home games which immediately followed two or more consecutive losses. Take the Senators. |
02-15-18 | Red Wings v. Lightning -240 | Top | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 15 h 57 m | Show |
At 7:35 pm, our selection is on the Tampa Bay Lightning over Detroit. The Lightning return home off back-to-back road losses to the Sabres and Maple Leafs. Tampa surrendered 4 and 5 goals, respectively, in those two defeats. But the Lightning are 45-27 after allowing more than three goals, and 61-38 off a loss. Meanwhile, Detroit's an awful 15-27 off back to back wins, including 2-8 this season. Take Tampa Bay. |
02-14-18 | Georgia +10.5 v. Florida | Top | 72-69 | Win | 100 | 17 h 49 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Georgia Bulldogs + the points over Florida. These two teams met 15 days ago, in Athens, and the Bulldogs blew out the Gators, 72-60. Since that game, however, Georgia's gone 0-3 SU/ATS. Meanwhile, Florida's won its last two games, including a 65-41 blowout of South Carolina on Saturday. Unfortunately, though, for the Gators, double-digit, revenge-minded home favorites, off a double-digit win, have covered just 38% since 1990 vs. foes off back-to-back SU/ATS losses. Even worse: Georgia's 22-3 ATS away from home off a loss when matched up against a foe off a win, including a perfect 12-0 ATS when catching 7+ points. Take Georgia + the points. |
02-14-18 | Kentucky +8.5 v. Auburn | Top | 66-76 | Loss | -101 | 16 h 15 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Kentucky Wildcats + the points over Auburn. The Wildcats come into tonight's game off 3 straight losses. And they've also failed to cover their last four games. Meanwhile, Auburn's off a 17-point win (and cover) at Georgia. But that sets up our play tonight, as SEC Conference teams are a perfect 22-0 ATS when getting 6+ points, if they're off 3 straight losses, and also on a 4-game point spread losing streak, and matched up against a conference opponent not off an ATS loss. Take Kentucky. NCAA ELITE INFO WINNER. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-14-18 | Pacers v. Nets +4.5 | Top | 108-103 | Loss | -105 | 17 h 50 m | Show |
At 7:35 pm, our selection is on the Brooklyn Nets + the points over Indiana. The Pacers are off a high-scoring, 121-113 win over the Knicks in their last game (their 2nd straight win, overall). But off those two games, we'll fade Indy on the road, as NBA teams off back to back wins are a soft 93-133 ATS if they scored more than 116 in their previous game, and their opponent is off a loss. Even worse: Indiana is a poor 13-24 ATS on the road off a win, while Brooklyn is a solid 17-5 ATS as an underdog vs. a foe off a win. Take the Nets + the points. NBA Roadkill Winner. Good luck, as always....Al McMordie. |
02-14-18 | Hawks v. Pistons -8.5 | Top | 98-104 | Loss | -105 | 17 h 6 m | Show |
At 7:05 pm, our selection is on the Detroit Pistons minus the points over Atlanta. These two teams met just three days ago, and the Hawks upset the Pistons, 118-115, as a 4-point home underdog. (Detroit then followed up that loss with a home loss to the Pelicans.) But I love Detroit to avenge that defeat tonight, as the Hawks are an awful 26-55 ATS on the road when playing a rested, revenge-minded foe which Atlanta upset in the previous meeting, including 5-23 ATS since 2007. That doesn't bode well for Atlanta. And neither does the fact that the Pistons are 32-21 ATS their last 53 off an upset defeat. Take Detroit. NBA Game of the Month. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-14-18 | Villanova v. Providence +9.5 | Top | 71-76 | Win | 100 | 15 h 49 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Providence Friars + the points over Villanova. The Wildcats enter this game with a superb 23-2 record. But NCAA teams that have won more than 90% of their games (thru their first 25+ games of the season) are an awful 30-56-3 ATS as single-digit favorites in Conference games vs. foes with a .500 (or better) conference record! Also, Providence is 9-1 ATS its last 10 when playing with same-season revenge. Take the Friars + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-14-18 | Mississippi State v. Vanderbilt -1 | Top | 80-81 | Push | 0 | 3 h 4 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Vanderbilt Commodores minus the points over Mississippi State. These two teams met in Starkville earlier this season, and the Bulldogs blew out Vandy, 80-62. But you know what they say about 'paybacks,' and I love Vandy to avenge that defeat with a blowout of its own, tonight. The Commodores are an awesome 50-33 ATS in the regular season when playing with revenge from a loss earlier in the year, including 6-0 ATS the last three seasons. That doesn't bode well for the Bulldogs. And neither does the fact that Miss State is an awful 15-31-2 ATS away from home in the regular season vs. a foe playing with revenge from a loss earlier in the year, including 1-13 ATS when its foe was off a double-digit loss. With Vandy, indeed, off a double-digit loss at Arkansas, we'll take the Commodores to roll this evening. Take Vandy. NCAA Payback Payday. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-14-18 | South Florida +13.5 v. UCF | Top | 57-72 | Loss | -110 | 14 h 49 m | Show |
At 6 pm (please note the early start time), our selection is on the South Florida Bulls + the points over Central Florida. The Knights upset Memphis, 68-64, as a 3-point underdog in their previous game. But off that upset win, we'll fade UCF as a double-digit favorite, as they fall into a 75-155 ATS 'letdown' system of mine, which goes against certain double-digit faves off upset wins. Also, the underdog has covered 10 of 14 in this rivalry. Take South Florida + the points. |
02-13-18 | Virginia v. Miami-FL +5.5 | Top | 59-50 | Loss | -105 | 16 h 24 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Miami-Fla Hurricanes + the points over Virginia. The Hurricanes are a fantastic 36-3 straight-up their last 39 home games. And they've excelled vs. the better foes, as they've cashed 60% ATS vs. .714 (or better) opponents. We'll grab the points with Miami, as home dogs of more than 5 points, that have won at least 35 of their previous 40 home games, have cashed 68.1% of their conference games since 1990. Take the Hurricanes + the points. |
02-13-18 | South Carolina +12.5 v. Tennessee | Top | 67-70 | Win | 100 | 16 h 19 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the South Carolina Gamecocks + the points over Tennessee. The Gamecocks come into this game off 5 SU/ATS losses, while Tennessee's 18-6 SU and 14-8 ATS. So, the knee-jerk reaction might be to lay the double-digits with the homestanding Volunteers. But double-digit SEC road underdogs have gone 22-5 ATS off 4 point spread defeats. And South Carolina also falls into a 536-400 ATS system of mine which plays on certain double-digit dogs off a SU/ATS home defeat. Take the Gamecocks + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-13-18 | Ducks -124 v. Red Wings | Top | 1-2 | Loss | -124 | 15 h 56 m | Show |
At 7:35 pm, our selection is on the Anaheim Ducks over the Detroit Red Wings. The Red Wings were no doubt looking forward to moving into their sleek, new downtown arena -- dubbed Little Caesars -- before the season started back in October. And things started out well enough for them as they won their first-ever regular season game there, 4-2, over the Minnesota Wild on October 5. But it looks like the new rink is no home-sweet-home for Detroit's hockey club. Since that opening victory, the Wings have gone just 10-18 here and have -- not surprisingly -- been better on the road this season than at their new local digs. The offense has come alive in the last two games, scoring 11 total goals in road games against the Isles and Caps. The problem is, they've also allowed 11 goals in those and as a result have gone just 1-1 over that span (both overtime games). But their home funk continues to be the Wings biggest problem as they are just 1-6 in their last seven games here. The Ducks are 6-2 in the last eight meetings. Take Anaheim. NHL High Roller Winner. As always, good luck...Al McMordie. |
02-13-18 | Arkansas v. Ole Miss | Top | 75-64 | Loss | -113 | 14 h 20 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Ole Miss Rebels over Arkansas. Ole Miss comes into tonight's game off 5 straight losses (both SU and ATS). But I love them to bounce back at home tonight, as Ole Miss is a super 94-59-2 ATS at home when priced from +1 to -8 points, while Arkansas is an awful 56-116 ATS on the SEC road when not getting 11+ points! Finally, Ole Miss is 36-11-2 ATS its last 49 games vs. the Razorbacks, including 16-1-1 ATS when priced from +2 to -10. Look for Mississippi to snap its losing streak tonight for coach Andy Kennedy (who just announced he will depart at the end of the season). Take Mississippi. NCAA Elite Info Winner. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-13-18 | Oklahoma +8 v. Texas Tech | Top | 78-88 | Loss | -110 | 14 h 20 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Oklahoma Sooners + the points over Texas Tech. The Sooners defeated Texas Tech, 75-65, in Norman five weeks ago, but have gone 3-6 SU and 1-8 ATS since (including 0-5 ATS their last five). I love the Sooners to cover this big number, as .666 (or better) college hoops teams off 5+ ATS losses are 72% ATS when getting more than 6 points in conference games since 2005. Take the Sooners. |
02-12-18 | East Tennessee State v. NC-Greensboro -1.5 | Top | 56-74 | Win | 100 | 18 h 2 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the North Carolina Greensboro Spartans minus the points over East Tennessee State. The Buccaneers come into this evening's game on an impressive 16-game win streak. But they've been installed as an underdog tonight vs. UNCG. And I expect the Spartans to put a halt to the Bucs' win streak, as College Basketball teams on a 14-game (or better) win streak are 10-32 straight-up and 14-27-1 ATS as underdogs in the regular season vs. conference foes with a worse record. Also, NC-Greensboro is on a solid 8-2 ATS run at home, and is also 15-4-1 ATS in games where the line was less than 9 points. Take UNC-G. NCAA Elite Info Winner. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-11-18 | Washington State +15 v. Oregon | Top | 57-84 | Loss | -109 | 16 h 12 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Washington State Cougars + the points over Oregon. The Cougars have lost their last six games (both SU and ATS), with the last five coming by double-digits. But we'll take the points with Washington State tonight, as Pac-12 Conference road underdogs (or PK) have cashed 61.1% over the past 23 years off three SU/ATS double-digit losses. Take Washington State + the points. NCAA Road Warrior. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-11-18 | Flames -110 v. Islanders | Top | 3-2 | Win | 100 | 15 h 19 m | Show |
At 7:05 pm, our selection is on the Calgary Flames over the NY Islanders. The Flames have actually been better (15-11) on the road this season than at home. And we'll go against the Isles off their high-scoring, 7-6 home win vs. Detroit. New York is a poor 26-36 (minus 14 games on the money line) off a home win. And New York's also 99-131 after allowing 4+ goals in back-to-back games. Take Calgary. As always, good luck...Al McMordie. |
02-11-18 | Avalanche -105 v. Sabres | Top | 5-4 | Win | 100 | 8 h 26 m | Show |
At 7:05 pm, our selection is on the Colorado Avalanche over the Buffalo Sabres. For only the second time this season, the Sabres have pulled off a two-game winning streak with their victories over the Islanders and Bruins That's a great accomplishment but let's not forget that this is still a pretty bad team that is just 16-29 this season. The Avs got crushed in St. Louis in their last game, however this game doesn't bode well for Buffalo as the Sabres are 0-5 in their last five home games vs. teams with a road winning % of less than .400. And they're 19-33 after scoring 4+ goals in their previous game, 28-54 off a win, and 15-54 in their last 69 vs. teams from the Central Division. Take the Avs. |
02-11-18 | Knicks +9 v. Pacers | Top | 113-121 | Win | 100 | 6 h 35 m | Show |
At 5:05 pm, our selection is on the New York Knicks + the points over Indiana. The Knicks were blown out, 113-88, three days ago by Toronto. That was their first game since their All-Star, Kristaps Porzingis, was injured. And it also was their third straight ATS defeat. But I look for the Knicks to snap their losing streak this afternoon, as rested NBA road teams off back to back ATS defeats are 166-118 ATS as underdogs of 8+ points vs. foes that covered by 10+ in their previous game. With Indiana, indeed, off a double-digit cover on Friday vs. Boston, we'll fade the Pacers today. Take New York. NBA High Roller Winner. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-11-18 | Cincinnati v. SMU +8 | Top | 76-51 | Loss | -106 | 12 h 11 m | Show |
At 4 pm, our selection is on the SMU Mustangs + the points over Cincinnati. The Bearcats blew out SMU by 20 points earlier this season. But we'll take the revenge-minded home underdog this afternoon, as SMU is 12-1 ATS its last 13 when playing with revenge from a loss by 15+ points. And the Mustangs also fall into a 101-39 ATS 'revenge' system of mine which plays on certain teams that lost by 20+ points earlier in the season. Take SMU. NCAA Hoops Payback Payday. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-11-18 | Cavs +5 v. Celtics | Top | 121-99 | Win | 100 | 12 h 53 m | Show |
At 3:35 pm, our selection is on the Cleveland Cavaliers + the points over Boston. The Cavaliers' front office orchestrated some great trades to not only shed the team of several players who just weren't working out (Isaiah Thomas, Derrick Rose, Jae Crowder), but also to bring in a great mix of young (Larry Nance, Jr.; Jordan Clarkson; Rodney Hood) and veteran (George Hill) talent. The Cavs were able to hold a practice yesterday on their off day to work on the integration of the new players. All of the players will be available today, though Cleveland's starting lineup should be similar (with one exception) to the one used in its last game, a blowout win over Atlanta. Thus, I expect LeBron James, Cedi Osman and Tristan Thompson to start in the frontcourt, with JR Smith and newcomer George Hill in the backcourt. Once Kevin Love returns, Cleveland will once again be the team to beat in the Eastern Conference. But even without Love, I give them the edge this afternoon vs. Boston. Take the Cavs + the points. NBA Game of the Week. Good luck, as always....Al McMordie. |
02-11-18 | Rangers v. Jets -217 | Top | 3-1 | Loss | -217 | 11 h 18 m | Show |
At 3:05 pm, our selection is on the Winnipeg Jets over the New York Rangers. The Jets are an awesome 20-6 at home this season, but did lose their previous game, 5-2, to the Blues. But the Jets are 15-7 off a loss, and 26-11 at home off a loss by more than two goals. Take Winnipeg. |
02-10-18 | Cal Poly v. Long Beach State -9.5 | Top | 54-73 | Win | 100 | 17 h 51 m | Show |
At 11 pm, our selection is on the Long Beach State 49ers minus the points over Cal Poly SLO. The 49ers dropped their previous game -- also here at home -- to Cal Davis. But Long Beach is an awesome 67.8% ATS since 1990 at home in conference games off a conference home loss. Lay the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
