This pick was made before news of Tatum's injury (+4), so use that information as you see fit. If given the chance, I would grab the line at +8, +8.5, or +9. The Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks, two of the NBA's strongest teams, will face off on Tuesday night.

The Celtics have a good chance of winning as they have a 6-0-1 ATS record in their last seven meetings in Milwaukee. Despite missing some key players, the Celtics are still a formidable team and are currently on a four-game winning streak.

We're on the Hornets here against the Clippers on Wednesday night. 

Los Angeles has been an underachieving team in the NBA thus far. They enter play on Wednesday as one of the worst in the league on offense. They rank 30th in scoring, putting up just 107 points per game. 

Their inconsistencies have led to many games being close throughout, which is why grabbing the points here is valuable. The Hornets love to play quick and that has proven to be one of the best recipes to beating this Clippers side. They struggling with fast paced teams and the Hornets are getting healthier as the games go on.

Nuggets -8.5

We're on the Nuggets here, laying the points.

Denver is in a bounce back spot after dropping one to the Lakers after a sluggish 4th quarter. Los Angeles is a team that has woken up a bit and Denver ended up running into a brick wall in that final quarter. Still, this team is playing extremely well overall and they have so many different playmakers that cause havoc for opposing defenses.

Denver averages 116 points per game, which ranks 7th in the NBA. New Orleans has one of the worst defenses in the NBA, giving a huge edge to this Nuggets side.

Dallas Mavericks 4.5

The Mavs look for revenge here on Saturday. They fell to Cleveland, at home earlier this week as they dug themselves too big of a whole early on. 

They catch the Cavs in a nice spot here, as Cleveland is working on a back to back after having to fight hard against the Pacers on Friday night. We could see Cleveland rest a couple players, but even if we don't they should still be battling a little fatigue come Saturday night.

Dallas has also been a nice backing inside this arena. They've covered the last 4 head to head contests in Cleveland.

With how much of a struggle Cleveland is on back to backs, there is a ton of value on the visitors.

Lakers +1.5

The Lakers may be figuring some things out. They have value here at home.

Despite dropping last game to the Celtics, we saw a lot of positives from this Lakers side. They have shown they have the ability to go on huge runs and really lock down defensively at times. Now, it’s about turning that into a more consistent effort. 

The Nuggets themselves are a team they match up well with. Los Angeles has really stepped up their interior defense and that should be the difference here. 

Look for them to contain Jokic and really attack the rim, similar to what they did on Tuesday.

Miami -5

We're backing the Heat here on Thursday night. 

Miami has been dominant in this series as of late coming into play on Thursday.  Houston are 9-18 on the year.  Miami are 13-15. 

This is also a let down spot for the Rockets. They came out on Tuesday and blew away the Suns in what was their most impressive game of the season. Now, they take on a very physical and gritty Miami side that can really wear teams down.

Raptors -5.5

The Raptors have value here laying the points.

The Kings have struggled on the road and in this head to head series, giving the edge here to Toronto. Coming into Tuesday, the Raptors have covered in 7 of the last 10 head to head meetings with one push. 

Toronto also has gone 10-3 at home this season as they've played some of their best basketball here. They've done it with a combination of factors, but the most important has been their ability to get key stops. Look for them to step up defensively against a Kings team that has it's issues with consistency on the offensive end.

This is a solid line on a much better team here. Boston is in a bounce back spot after dropping back to back games, which has been very rare as of late for them.

This is the final game of a 6 game road swing too, which the Celtics are looking to finish above .500. 

Boston has far too many weapons for this Lakers side. Los Angeles is too inconsistent and has struggled with top tier teams this season. Look for Boston to come out here with a purpose and push the tempo on the Lakers in this one.

Nets -5

The Nets have value here. Brooklyn has been the most interesting team to say the least. The Nets have battled drama and injuries all season long. As of late, it’s been the injury piece, but they have weathered that storm. 

The Nets are 7-1 in their last 8 games and are expected to get Kevin Durant back for Mondays contest. 

This is the perfect matchup as the Wizards have had far more issues. They’ve dropped 6 in a row as it’s been a debacle for them on the defensive end. Look for Brooklyn to really push the tempo on Washington, who ranks near the bottom in transition defense. 

This is a nice matchup for the Nets and they should be able to dictate a lot here.

Knicks -2.5

The Knicks have value at this low of a number. Both teams come in playing very well, but New York is still the more talented of the two. The Knicks have won 3 in a row and they’re doing it with their ability to turn defense into offense. They’re forcing turnovers and getting out in transition, which has led to some easy buckets.

The Kings are vulnerable to turning the ball over and this is a game New York can take advantage of that. Look for them to turn up the pressure defensively and really force the Kings on their heels early in this one. 

With home court and opposing teams having a hard time playing at MSG, the value sits here with New York.

Suns +2

We’re on the Suns, grabbing the points here.

Chris Paul may return here which would be a huge added bonus. Even if he’s not, we’re still getting solid value on the home side.

The Suns always get up for big games and this is going to be a prime example. Phoenix sits at 16-8, first in the Western Conference as they’ve been able to overcome injuries here in the early part of the year. They’ve have different players stepping up, which shows how much depth this team has. 

They matchup well with Boston, as they have the playmakers to go toe to toe with them. 

Expect this game to be a back and forth one, with the Suns feeding off a sold out crowd energy to grab a win.

The Lakers still haven't figured everything out yet and honestly they may never figure it out. This team is far too inconsistent to trust.

Combine that with the Lakers already losing to the Cavs by 14 earlier this season and there is a lot of reason to believe Cleveland can take control again. Look for the Cavs to use their speed and really push out in transition here.

We're on the 76ers laying the points. 

After winning 3 straight and 4 of their last 5, the 76ers have dropped back to back games in ugly fashion. 

This is a perfect spot for them to get back on track. Houston's defense ranks one of the worst in the NBA and Phili should be able to dictate a lot here on both ends of the floor. Look for them to dominate the paint and get out with some easy transition buckets in this one.

Houston has struggled in this head to head series, leaving the value with the 76ers.

The Warriors have value here laying the points.

This one is going to be a grind. 

The Pistons have been a mess this season, but they are in a good spot here. They catch the Mavs, who come in off their best win of the season as they took down the Warriors at home. 

Going from that high of a competition and intense game to this, could be a tough mental game for the Mavs. Look for Detroit to take advantage of that and come out of the gates with some fire in this one. If they can grab an early lead, the Mavericks are not a team that is built to come from behind.

We're on the Pacers here with the points.

Indiana comes in on a high as they defeated the Lakers on Monday night at the buzzer. Indiana has been overlooked some this year, coming in with a solid 12-8 mark. They do the little things right when it comes to taking care of the basketball. 

Offensively, they rank 7th in the NBA, putting up 115.7 points per game as well. The Kings have defensive issues all over the place and this is not a good matchup for them.

Brooklyn Nets -10 

We’re on the nets here laying the points on Monday night at home against Orlando.

The magic have been an ultimate fade this season. They come in with just five wins and have dropped four in a row overall. They struggle defensively, as they are one of the worst in the NBA when it comes down. 

Brooklyn has not lived up to their standards here in the 2022 season, they still have played much better as of late and are starting to figure things out.

Memphis comes in with momentum themselves, putting up 132 points against the Pelicans in their Friday win. This is a case where the Knicks just do not match up well. Memphis has a lot of weapons and the Knicks have far too many issues with slowing teams down.

The Suns are worth a move laying the points.

Detroit comes in off an upset win in Utah last time out, but this team still has far too many issues. Defensively, they are one of the worst in the league in many categories. They give up easy looks and fail to stop teams who get out in transition. 

The Suns are not a good opponent to matchup with for Detroit. Given how quickly they play and the playmakers they have, this is a game where Phoenix can utilize their fast pace to throw this Pistons side off.

Phoenix -7.5

This is a fade on the Kings here.

Sacramento had a historic night as they put up 153 points on Brooklyn last time out. They are riding a high and now coming down to take on a team like the Spurs is certainly a place for a let down.

The Suns have value at this low of a number.

Phoenix throttled the Warriors earlier this season in a game where Klay Thompson was ejected in the third quarter. Phoenix ended up putting up 134 points in that win as they have one of the best offenses in the NBA.

The Lakers have just been a solid fade all season long. They’ve struggled on both sides of the ball and it hasn’t got any better for them with each game.

The frustration is apparent and the Clippers have a huge mental edge on them. They’ve dominated this head to head series and have a win under their belts against them already this season.

The Lakers have far too many issues and this is just not a good matchup for them.

Golden State blew an early double digit lead and eventually fell by one to the Orlando Magic. Golden State rarely sees losses pile up in bunches and this is a perfect spot to back them as they get right back out there.

New Orleans has had many defensive issues this season and this is not the team you want to have those against. Look for Golden State to push the tempo on the them here, as the Pelicans have struggled with teams who play with tempo.

Oklahoma City has been profitable as of late. They're covering games and they're playing much better at home. They come in with solid momentum after knocking off the Magic on Tuesday night. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is playing at another level right now, giving this team a lot of energy.
