Wisconsin Milwaukee -7

The home side has the value here on Thursday night in this matchup. 

Cleveland State and Wisconsin Milwaukee have seen plenty of each other over the recent years and the home side has really had the edge in the series.

Coming into Thursday, the Home team is 18-7-1 ATS in the last 26 meetings.

Combine that with the favorite going 5-1-1 ATS in the last 7 in this series and Wisconsin Milwaukee holds a nice edge.

Nicholls State -7

Laying the points with the visitors here is a nice move. 

Houston Baptist is a nice fade given the defense they have put up this season. They are one of the worst in the country in almost every category, conceding 94.8 points per game. 

With a loss to Nicholls State already under their belts this season, this is nice an ideal matchup for them. 

Nicholls State puts up 76 points per game and has a nice inside out attack. Look for them to have plenty of open and easy looks, especially at the rim, as they should be able to control this one from the outset.

Mercer holds value on the road here. 

The Citadel has been a struggle this season and this is not a good opponent for them to have to deal with. 

This is a great situational spot every which way you look at it for Mercer. They come in 6-1 ATS in their last 7 Wednesday games and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games. Combine that with them on a 2 game winning streak and they have a lot of momentum here on Wednesday.

The Golden Flashes have value laying the number here. 

Kent State is in the midst of a run where they need to find some wins here before MAC tournament play. It's likely they will have to play in a first round game now after their double OT loss to Buffalo, which means clinching home court is important for them. 

Miami OH is the perfect opponent here, given their issues on the road. Miami OH has gone just 1-9 away from home and they are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 as a road dog. 

Look for Kent State to find their groove here and keep their foot on the gas all night long.

Michigan State -8

The Spartans are a nice move in the NCAA on Tuesday night.

The Spartans welcome in the Iowa Hawkeyes, who have not been one of the best road teams over recent seasons. 

Iowa has gone just 17-37-2 ATS in their last 56 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. That is no small sample size and they're just 4-5 away from home this season. Michigan State has the size and speed to shut down this Iowa offense and we should see the Spartans control the tempo in this one.

Florida State -2.5

This is a nice revenge spot for FSU.

The Cardinals come in banged up as they have dropped 2 straight road games. This team has been enduring a lot of issues on both ends of the floor and this is not how you want to enter Monday's matchup.

Florida State has gone undefeated at home this season and they're outscoring their opponents on average by over 16 points per home game.

Ole Miss -2

This is a low number to lay here on Ole Miss.

They have a nice edge here with the home court advantage and are worth laying this small of a number. 

Alabama has been a wreck on the road this season. They come in just 3-6 in road situations and we've seen them struggle mightily on both sides of the basketball when playing away from home at times. That is a recipe for disaster here against Ole Miss, who is a solid 10-4 in home situations this season. 

Expect Ole Miss to lean on their defense, as they are one of the best in the conference at shutting down shooters. In particular, they rank 6th in the nation in 3 point percentage against.

Look for them to feed off the energy to a home win.

Wright State -9

The Vikings went through a nice run where they were giving some teams a lot of issues in the Horizon League.

However, that has since faded off and now fading them is the right move.

Wright State is just going to be too much to handle for this young Vikings team. The Raiders come in 4th in the entire nation in points scored and they are in a nice bounce back spot after getting knocked around by Youngstown State. Wright State hasn't allowed losses to pile up and they already have a 13 point win over CSU under their belts.

Look for them to put their foot on the gas early and run away with this one.

Baylor PK

This is a nice line here on the Bears Saturday.

Baylor has been a huge surprise in the NCAA this season and they sit at #1 in the nation. They welcome in rival Kansas here and they already have a win under their belts against the Jayhawks. Baylor dominated from start to finish the last time these two teams met in Kansas and the Bears are a tough opponent to deal with at home.

Expect Baylor to come out with even higher intensity on the defensive end in this matchup, similar to the style they played with in Kansas. Baylor ranks third in the NCAA, conceding just 58 points per game.

That is ultimately going to be the difference here in a game the Bears should take at home.

Yale is on a nice run situationally any which way you look at it.

Combine that with the play of NC State at home this season and this is a nice number to grab. NC State is 11-3 in home situations and they have covered 6 of their last 8 as an underdog. 

Look for them to push the tempo on Duke and not back down, as they have the offensive weapons to compete.

LSU -2.5

The Tigers 18-7 (11-14 ATS) have value at home here vs. Kentucky 20-5 (11-13-1 ATS).

LSU needs to get themselves back on track here after dropping 3 of 4 and playing at home is the perfect scenario. The Tigers have won 7 in a row at home and have played some of their best basketball of the season in this building.

With the battle for the top spot in the SEC on the line here, this is a case where they know they have to play perfect on both ends.

Kentucky hasn't been overwhelming any opponent this season and they have their flaws as well. Expect the Tigers to buckle down defensively and keep the constant pressure on all game long here.

The edge sits with the Tigers and they have the playmakers to come up big in this extremely important game.

The Utes have value with the points Sunday night. 

Oregon has been a rollercoaster of a team thus far. After an abysmal second half a week ago in Oregon State, they need a late rush to come back and beat Colorado at home.

This is a team that hasn’t not played with much confidence this season on either side of the ball. 

This is simply too many points to lay here. Utah is a scrappy team that loves to work the ball around utilize a lot of the shot clock. That will have Oregon out of their game and element here. 

Expect Utah to frustrate Oregon in this one and keep it close throughout.

This is a huge number on Chicago State here. 

Chicago State isn't obviously going to open a lot of eyes with their name or play thus far into the season. However, as of late, they've been much more competitive and are keeping things close with opponents.

They've covered 3 straight and take on a Grand Canyon team that isn't going to overpower anyone. 

This is a game that will be played a slow pace and shouldn't get out of hand. Look for Chicago State to keep things close with their ability to run a half court offense and get some stops against a Grand Canyon offense that has a lot of flaws.

Louisville -6

The Cardinals are in full bounce back mode. 

Louisville went into Georgia Tech earlier this week and failed in almost every aspect en route to an upset loss. 

Now, they have to switch gears quickly in Clemson, but the matchup here heavily favors them. Clemson is one of the worst in the nation offensively and they won't be able to handle the pressure the Cardinals bring. Clemson scores just 66 points per game and just doesn't have much depth. 

Expect Louisville to erase the memory of their latest loss and come out with some aggression in this one.

The Flyers have value laying the big number here. 

Dayton has set the pace in the A-10 and they've done it with their exceptional offensive firepower.

The Flyers sit in the top 10 in the nation in points scored thanks to their superb inside out game. They have the ability to beat teams in the paint and with their shooters. 

Expect them to run on this Massachusetts team here, who sits near the bottom in the conference on the defensive end. 

Dayton should be able to dictate the pace and do what they want here, as they roll on Saturday.

The Zips have value on the road here Friday night.

Akron sits 2nd in the MAC and comes in with a lot of momentum after knocking off the leader of the group in Bowling Green. 

The Zips are getting it done on both ends of the floor, particularly when it comes to 3 point shooting. As a team, Akron is shooting 38% from behind the arc, which is above and beyond when it comes to the nation standings. Look for Akron to continue that here and really have their way with this CMU defense.

Florida -5.5

The Gators 14-9 (8-15 ATS) laying the number here is the move.

Florida is in full bounce back mode now. They were just dominated in every which way Saturday in Ole Miss and this is the perfect opponent to bounce back against.

A&M 11-11 (9-13 ATS) is just far too inconsistent. They struggle on both sides of the ball and their lack of offense at times cannot make up for the defense. Expect them to have plenty of frustrations on Wednesday as this Florida team is far more physical and quick.

The Falcons (18-6) have value grabbing the points. 

The preseason MAC favorite has turned things up and this is far too many points for them to be catching. 

The one thing the MAC has proven this season is that anyone can beat anyone, home or away. Bowling Green has been great on the road as of late, covering in 6 of their last 8 games away from home. 

The underdog has also been a nice bet in this series. The underdog has gone 6-1 ATS in the last 7 head to head meetings.

San Francisco

San Francisco 16-9 (11-12-1 ATS) was a fade bet for us on Thursday night and it worked out tremendously. However, in this spot, they have value against BYU 18-7 (15-9 ATS). 

The Dons have seemed to show up for top tier competition. They gave Gonzaga everything they could handle just a week ago, but after a tough loss there, they came out completely sluggish against Pacific. 

Expect them to come out with a lot of fire here in this one, as this offense is so tough to contain. They put up 76.1 points per game and love to attack the rim. They have the playmakers to keep up in this one, with a shot at stealing it.

Some trends to note. San Francisco is 7-0 ATS in their last 7 games when playing on the road against BYU. BYU is 2-4 ATS in their last 6 games played on a Saturday.

Murray State

Murray State 17-6 (10-10-1 ATS) is the move Saturday night. 

This is a pure rebound spot for Murray State. The Racers went into Belmont on Thursday night and simply couldn't get over the hump in the 2nd half. 

Despite the loss, Murray State has still won 9 of their last 10 overall as they're doing it on both ends of the floor. They rank near the top in total offense and defense in the conference, putting up 77 points to just the 65 they concede. 

With Tennessee State's 15-9 (14-8-1 ATS) issues on the defensive end, this is a game Murray State will look to get out early in. Expect them to get their groove back and really attack this weak defense.

Louisville

The Cardinals 20-3 (12-11 ATS) are in a nice spot here Saturday.

Virginia 15-6 (7-14 ATS) just isn't the team they've been in the past. While they still come 15-6, they just haven't had the same spark in past seasons. 

The Cavaliers struggled with Clemson all night long earlier this week and Louisville is going to be far too much for them on the offensive end. The Cardinals put up 75 points per contest compared to just the 59 Virginia has. 

Expect the Cardinals to really put their foot on the gas and have Virginia playing this game at a very uncomfortable pace.

Akron -13

The Zips 16-6 (12-8 ATS) have had over a week off to think about their loss to rival Kent State.

Now they will try to flip the script and put an end to a tough 2 game losing skid they're currently in the midst of. 

They have a huge edge over the Eastern Michigan Eagles 12-10 (9-9 ATS) here. Akron has been dominant at home thus far, going 10-2 in home situations. Combine that with EMU scoring just 64.9 points per game and the Eagles are in for a rough day on Saturday.

Expect Akron to get out and run on Eastern Michigan, pushing the tempo and allowing themselves to find their shooters in transition.

Auburn comes in off a wild come from behind win over Arkansas this past week. The Razorbacks gave them all they could handle and led by double digits in the 2nd half before a late rush by Auburn put the game into OT. 

Auburn is just so tough of a team to guard as they have the ability to not only shoot the ball, but they have playmakers who can control the paint area. 

LSU 17-5 (10-12 ATS) struggled mightily with Vanderbilt on the defensive end and this is going to be an even tougher task for them. Look for Auburn to dictate how this game is played for LSU to struggle once again here.

Kent State -2

The Golden Flashes 16-7 (10-10-1 ATS) are in a revenge spot, on the road here versus the NIU Huskies 14-9 (11-11 ATS).

Kent State has taken it to some of the elites in the MAC, but they’ve also fallen in some games they should have won. They take an NIU team who knocked them off in Kent earlier this season and it’s always extremely hard to sweep this Golden Flashes team.

Kent State is a physical group and they are in a full bounce back spot after falling to Ball State Tuesday. The Golden Flashes have proven they can win on the road as they went into Buffalo two weeks ago and took down a tough Bulls team.

San Francisco 16-8 (11-11-1 ATS) is in a major let down spot here. Saturday night in front of a capacity crowd, they took #2 Gonzaga to the end of the line, but ultimately fell short. Now, they have to shift gears quickly here and this has the potential to have them a little distracted after playing a game with such emotion. 

There won't nearly be as much crowd noise and enthusiasm as there was Saturday and Pacific is not a team to overlook. They are one of the best in the conference on the defensive end, allowing just 64.5 points per game. Look for them to buckle down defensively and really frustrate San Francisco here.

Michigan -2

The Wolverines have value laying the low number. 

Ohio State has just been a much different team on the road versus when they play at home. The Buckeyes have struggled mightily in Big 10 play away from home and with this being a rivalry game, you know Michigan and the crowd will be up for the task. 

The Wolverines will also get a nice boost with Zavier Simpson returning to the lineup. He adds depth and another scoring threat to a lineup that loves to utilize a lot of different players. 

It's also important to note here that the home team in this series has gone 7-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings. 

Look for Michigan to control this game and come away with a win.

The Trojans 17-4 (12-9 ATS) have the edge against Colorado Saturday night. 

Colorado 16-5 (10-10-1 ATS) comes in off an upset loss to UCLA on Thursday night as this team just isn't the same on the road. That is not a good sign when they take on a USC team who is 9-1 thus far in home situations. 

The Trojans could very well be ranked, as they have won 5 of their last 6 overall with the lone loss coming in overtime. 

Look for USC to dictate the tempo from start to finish here, as the Buffaloes have had their issues with teams that play at the Trojans' pace.

Indiana +6.5

The Hoosiers 15-6 (10-11 ATS) have value on the road Saturday. 

Ohio State 13-7 (11-9 ATS) has trended in the wrong direction since their huge win over Kentucky earlier this season. The Buckeyes looked as if they may be playing for one of the top seeds in the tournament, but the bottom completely fell out after a loss to Minnesota.

Now, there is questions whether or not they even crash the tournament and Indiana is not an ideal matchup for them.

The Hoosiers won earlier this season against Ohio State, in a game where they dominated on the defensive end. Ohio State just has too many inconsistencies on the offensive end and will have it's issues once again against Indiana. 

Some trends to note. Indiana are 14-6 SU in their last 20 games. Ohio State are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games, and are 2-6 SU in their last 8 games, and 2-6 SU in their last 8 games against an opponent in the Big Ten conference.

Fresno State ranks near the bottom offensively, putting up just 67 points per game. Opposing teams have had a field day in transition, something Air Force loves to do. The Falcons will look to get out and run in this one, as Fresno State will have their hands full slowing them down.

While they come in off a win over the Buckeyes, this team can’t match the physical play of Michigan State.

The Spartans can impose their will and really have this Golden Gophers team on their heels.

Dayton 17-2 (11-7-1 ATS) has taken the nation by storm jumping all the way up to number 7 as they have been one of the more impressive teams this season. 

However, this is a bit of a trap spot on the road.

Richmond sits 2nd in the conference and is quietly having a phenomenal season. They come in winners in 5 of their last 6 and have really dominated with their stellar defense.

Cleveland State's 7 wins thus far come actually as a surprise as this team has played well overall. For the expectations they had with a first year head coach, they have secured wins and have been in a lot of contests against good teams. 

They welcome in Wisconsin-Milwaukee after falling just short against a tough Green Bay team on Thursday. The Vikings have one of the better inside presences in the Horizon League with Algevon Eichelberger leading the way. Look for them to work the offense through him and really control the tempo in this one as Wisconsin-Milwaukee really struggles on the road.

Duke 15-3 (10-8 ATS) has dropped back to back games and they’re just not as dominant as they’ve been in recent years. 

The struggles come on both ends of the floor, especially down the stretch of games. Miami plays a slow enough tempo where they can take Duke out of their comfort zone.

Look for this to be a very grind it out type of game where both teams chew a lot of shot clock and are forced into some tough shots.

The Horned Frogs 12-5 (6-10 ATS) catching points are worth the move.

TCU is in prime bounce back mode after back to back struggles. This is the perfect opponent for them in this spot, as Texas Tech 12-5 (8-9 ATS) plays a very similar style to them. 

TCU can win this game with their defensive efforts, where they control the paint and suffocate these Red Raiders shooters.

That doesn't sit well with this team, who has one of the best coaches for bouncing back. Huggins will have this team ready to rumble. The Mountaineers will certainly have the clamps down on the defensive end here and be able to frustrate Texas all night long here.

However, this is not a good matchup for them. Fresno State has played very well in this series as they always give them issues. The Bulldogs have won 7 of the last 10 meetings overall and the underdog has covered in 10 of the last 12. 

Combine that with Fresno's 81-26 record at home over the last 5+ years and they should be able to keep this one close with a chance to steal it late.

USC is in a huge rebound spot. They were trounced by Pac-12 rival Washington last time and will look to get some frustrations out on the Bruins. UCLA has had it's issues all season long, losing games they shouldn't and just not playing up to par at all. 

They're now in some danger early on this season and they do not matchup well at all with the Trojans. 

UCLA ranks near the bottom in almost every shooting category. Combine that with their struggles on the defensive end and they should be in for a long night.

Iowa State has struggled as a whole this season and in particular they've had issues against top tier teams. The Sooners are a dominant force on both sides of the ball and should be able to run this game.

The Cyclones have dropped 3 straight, which includes a loss to FAMU. They in the midst of an awful streak and seeing a fast paced team like Oklahoma is not what they need right now.

Look for the Sooners to get out and run on them, really forcing them into some frustrations situations early on. With the speed and physical play the Sooners bring, it is going to just be too much for Iowa State to handle.

Ball State comes in giving up just 61 points per game. They allow nothing easy and have done a great job shutting down shooters. Look for them to pick up the pressure even more here, knowing how good some of these Akron shooters are.

With everything going wrong for UNC, they now have a chance to bounce back and grab a decent win here at home against Pittsburgh. 6-3 (6-3 ATS)

North Carolina was knocked around by Georgia Tech on Saturday, a game that saw them start 0 for 16 from the field and down by 23. Roy Williams is the perfect guy in this spot to help them rebound in a big way. 

Pittsburgh isn't an overpowering team on either side of the ball and will have it's issues with UNC's length. 

Expect North Carolina to come out with a lot purpose in this one.

Wichita State #24 (12-1) wraps up their non-conference schedule with an inaugural AAC-SEC game versus Ole Miss  (9-3) at 3 p.m. Saturday in Koch Arena on ESPNU.

Shockers haven't lost at home all year, and I don't see Breein Tyree getting anything too easy around the rim with the WSU shot blockers hanging around (Jaime Echenique, Asbjorn Midtgaard and Mo Udeze) 

It's clear to me that the biggest difference in this game will be the Shockers depth. Ole Miss just won't keep up in this game. Too many rebounders, too many good shooters, and throw in the shot blockers and this won't be a good outing for the Rebels. I think the Shockers will improve their free throw % as well, as it's been lagging of late against a team that gives up a lot of fouls and I'm on the Shockers ATS.

The Buckeyes now sit 5th in the country and this is the perfect opponent to bounce back against.

Wisconsin plays just too slow and doesn't have enough weapons to compete with this Buckeyes speed. Ohio State will look to get out early in this one and run on the Badgers.

With that, they should find a nice advantage in transition, throwing Wisconsin off their game plan.

They’re just so tough to slow down and they’ll have their way on both ends of the floor.

The road has proven to never be an issue for them and they'll see a very similar style in this Arizona team like the one they saw in Washington.

Seton Hall has value on the road here at Rutgers.

Rutgers has been a decent team thus far into their 2019-2020 campaign, but they run into a Seton Hall team that loves to run. 

The Pirates are scoring over 80 points per game as they love to get out in transition. 

That will cause a heap of issues for the Scarlet Knights, who haven't done well against fast teams in recent years. They struggle to slow them down and typically give up easy looks at the rim. 

Combine that with the way Seton Hall can shoot the 3 ball and this has the receipt to overwhelm Rutgers. 

Ultimately, there simply isn't enough firepower from the home side here.

They've got their scare out of the way already and head into Penn State still with a ton of confidence. As for the home side, they were throttled by another top Big 10 team in Ohio State on Saturday as they certainly have their issues on the defensive end.

Expect Maryland to expose those here and really attack the Nittany Lions in transition, where they struggle the most.

Penn State +8.5

The Nittany Lions have value grabbing the points. 

Ohio State has taken the college basketball world by storm with their dominant performances thus far into the season. Their latest was on the road in North Carolina and now everyone has their eyes on them.

This is a bit of a letdown spot for them. A noon start after a huge win combined with a Penn State team coming to town that is no pushover by any means.

Penn State comes in 7-1 and this offense has put up some nice numbers thus far. They are averaging 80 points per game through the first 8 and they have shown in the past they can go toe to toe with Ohio State. 

Some trends to note.  Nittany Lions are 18-7-3 ATS in their last 28 road games. Nittany Lions are 15-5-2 ATS in their last 22 games overall.

Look for Penn State to slow the game down here and try to knock Ohio State off their element. Combine that with Ohio State maybe overlooking Penn State some after their nice run to start the year and we should be in for a close one throughout.

Defensively they were knocked around in those losses and that will play a huge factor here. Look for the Wolfpack to pick apart this Wisconsin team as they have rolled at home in non conference games.

The public continues to pound Michigan and they've drove this line all the way down to -4.5 here. 

The Cardinals come in the new number 1 team in the nation, while Michigan has climbed the rankings thanks to their absolute dominant performance in the Battle 4 Atlantis this past week. 

This is a bit of a let down spot for them though in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. 

The Cardinals defense is going to be the toughest they've seen yet despite playing all of those top tier opponents in the tournament. Louisville gives up only 61 points per game and at home they seem to even put more emphasis on that defensive effort. Look for them to fluster Michigan all night in a game where the Wolverines likely battle some fatigue too from their busy week.

BYU simply cannot keep up with that. The Jayhawks have so many weapons that can shoot the ball from almost anywhere on the floor. They're going to overwhelm this BYU defense and put their foot on the gas early.

They can just beat you with so many weapons they boast. Offensively, they play one of the best inside out games in the nation. The control the paint, but also have a compliment of shooters to kick the ball out to. Ultimately in the end, Richmond can't slow this team down and will struggle with the length Auburn has on the boards.

It's the Fort Myers Tip-Off on Monday night when Pittsburgh and Kansas State meet.

Pittsburgh has won 2 in a row, but neither win has been pretty against two lower tier opponents. Combine that with their blowout loss to West Virginia and an upset to Nicholls State at home and this season hasn't started off great for Pitt. 

This is a game where the Wildcats can really impose their will early. Pitt isn't going to be much of a physical threat, which should give Kansas State a chance to dominate the paint early. Look for this to be a very slow paced game, where Kansas State works the ball inside and out, just wearing down the Panthers.

Buffalo however, is just too powerful for Towson. The Tigers have already dropped a game this year to a MAC opponent in a defeat to Kent State and Buffalo is much quicker and has more length than the Golden Flashes. Look for the Bulls to get out and run here, as they're going to have Towson on their heels all night long.

Look for them to struggle once again here, as they really can't keep up with the physical play that NC-Wilmington brings out.

The Buckeyes have struggled with teams that play defense with similar styles of Cincinnati and Villanova, as they aren't able to get out and run. 

Look for Villanova to put the clamps down and force some turnovers that will lead to fast break opportunities.

The key will be to keep the focus as Creighton comes in here and Michigan matches up very well with them. Creighton will see their first quality opponent of the season after opening up against Kennesaw State. That is never an easy task to flip to an opponent as physical as Michigan either. They have shot the ball great from behind the arc and are really giving Purdue plenty of options on the offensive end. They allow things to open up for other players on the floor too, as they are always a threat to shoot and forced to be guarded. 

Should this game turn into a track meet here, the Cavaliers may not have enough to keep up.

For starters, the Bulldogs have a defense that is swarming. They have the ability to shut down any shooter and control the paint at the same time. Look for them to really clamp down and not allow anything easy for this Seminoles offense.
