Washington's defense is being priced like it can control a game, and I don't buy it. The Commanders are allowing 29 PPG, rank 31st in scoring defense, and have surrendered TD's on 82% of opponents' red-zone trips. Philadelphia converts 74% of its red-zone chances, giving McKee a favorable matchup despite the Eagles' offensive injuries. McKee showed enough against Dallas to keep drives alive, and Washington's defense is allowing opposing QB's a 105 passer rating. The Commanders aren't exactly lighting up scoreboards themselves. They're converting just 31% on third down, worst in the NFL, and they're missing McLaurin and Croskey-Merritt. Washington has also failed to cover six straight without McLaurin. Yes, Philly is banged up and working on a short week, but this number has climbed from Washington -3.5 to -6. That's too much respect for a 1-4-1 team with these defensive problems. Take the six points with the Eagles.

Browns +3.5

The Browns are worth a free move on Sunday against the Steelers. It's a battle for first place in the AFC North and the Browns come in with all the confidence. They defeated the Steelers earlier this season in Cleveland and they have seen a revived Deshaun Watson at QB. He continues to lead game winning drives and the defense is up for the task against this Steelers offense. They caused a lot of issues for Aaron Rodgers earlier this year and they're going to blitz him all night long. With the offense of Cleveland far more threatening now, they have a chance to make life miserable Sunday for Pittsburgh. Locking this in early. Tampa Bay and Atlanta meet on Sunday and the over is the move. Baker Mayfield is back and while he didn't have to do much last week, this Bucs team looks like they have much more confidence. They put up 43 points on the Panthers and they'll go up against a Falcons defense that is going up 25 ppg. Atlanta has put up 24.4 ppg offensively and Bijan Robinson has continued to set the tone in games for them. Both of these offenses have the playmakers to produce explosive plays and we are going to see a lot of red zone trips in this game. Expect Mayfield to have a much bigger role this week and for him to look better with the rust off. This will be a high scoring game that is back and forth all afternoon long. Back the over.

Sunday 1* NFL O/U Play

Chiefs -1

Kansas City and Denver clash and the Chiefs are in a great bounce back spot. Kansas City was dominated by the Seahawks last Sunday night for their first loss of the season and this is a game where they can come back in a big way. The Chiefs took it to the Broncos in Week 1 this year and they matchup very well with them as a whole. They'll have Rice back out wide, which is a huge boost for the offense as he's Mahomes main target. Denver ranks 30th in total offense and 23rd in total defense as they have had to survive games, rather than win them at times. Kansas City is too good on both sides of the ball and they have always been a team that bounces back well after a bad game. Expect them to come out fast. Back the Chiefs.

Sunday 4* NFL ATS Play

Ravens +3.5

Baltimore and Buffalo will meet and the Ravens are the move. QB Lamar Jackson sat out last week and his return was set for this matchup as Baltimore looks for a signature win. Jackson and this offense will pick apart the Buffalo secondary, which has struggled all season. They have given up 29+ points in all but one of their games as they've struggled to slow teams down with the pass. Buffalo isn't blowing anyone out because of this defense and their last three games have all been close. We're going to see Henry open the running game early, while passing lanes continue to open up as the game gets deeper and deeper. This is too many points for this matchup. Back the Ravens.

Sunday 3* NFL ATS Play

Lions -3

Detroit and Minnesota square off on Sunday and the Lions have value. Minnesota is the only unbeaten in the NFL now and that's thanks in large part to their defense. Detroit's offense is just so difficult to stop and the Vikings are going to have their hands full here. The Lions are also playing exceptionally well on defense. They held the Packers to 5.0 yards per play last week and they continue to improve week by week. Minnesota has only scored 4 offensive touchdowns since Week 1 and that simply won't hold up against an offense as explosive as the Lions. Look for Detroit to come out and get the offense rolling early. Back Detroit.
