Fargo's 10* MLB SUNDAY ENFORCER (6-3 MLB THIS WEEK: Matt got off to a great start in baseball this week but gave some back yesterday. That means IMMEDIATE bounceback on Sunday! After going a SPECTACULAR 311-227 (57.8%) for +122.58 Units on the diamond last year, he is HEATING UP this year as he is a BLAZING 6-3 in MLB this week! He has one play Sunday and it is a MASSIVE one! Be there!
Game: Detroit Tigers at Chicago White Sox Apr 15 2012 2:10PM
Prediction: Detroit Tigers
Grade: Winner (100)
Reason: Detroit has dropped the first two games of this series and it looks to avoid the sweep in this series finale on Sunday. The Tigers got off to a 5-1 start at home with big series wins over Boston and Tampa Bay but the offense has hit a rut in Chicago but this is a good opportunity for a bounceback and to notch that first road win of the season. After losing their opening series in Texas, the White Sox have won four straight games as the pitching has been outstanding. That changes Sunday. Rick Porcello gets the call for the Tigers and he got the season off to a great start as he allowed two runs in seven innings against the Rays. He closed last season on fire and he has started right where he left off. After troubles against the White Sox in his first four starts, he has tossed three straight quality outings against them, all resulting in Tigers wins. He was solid on the road last season and going back, Detroit is 7-2 in his last nine road starts while going 17-4 in his last 21 divisional matchups. The White Sox counter with Chris Sale who had a very strong Major League debut. He allowed just one run on three hits in 6.2 innings against the Indians but that was the Indians. Despite a recent slump, facing the potent Tigers offense will be a tough challenge. Detroit is hitting .300 against lefties so far on the road and it has been great in these situations as the Tigers are 23-8 in their last 31 games following losses in the first two games of a series. 10* (921) Detroit Tigers
