   FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When were the clubs started?
In 2000 we began publishing the Vegas Experts My EDGE Newsletter. In the publication, we released Football Super System Selections. The first year the Super System plays were 17-5 ATS for a record setting 77%. The next year was another outstanding season with the systems going 12-4 ATS for 75%. Because of the tremendous success, there were overwhelming requests for additional selections. As a result, we decided to take our full library of systems and instead of releasing only one play per week, established the clubs which provides members with additional plays.

Why is the cost of the membership so inexpensive?
As most of you know, the core business at Vegas Experts is our award-winning guaranteed selections from the nation's top handicappers. We have no desire to compete with our handicappers, however, small players are not in the market for our guaranteed selections. Therefore, in order to get the smaller player involved, the cost of the membership is very low. Now, regardless of the amount wagered on a game, anyone can afford to purchase memberships.

How many plays are released in a typical week?
As existing members know, it's quality over quantity. If you're looking for a lot of plays each week, then our clubs are not for you. Last year we were able to have another outstanding season by releasing only 57 College and NFL Football regular season selections. That's one of the main reasons we were able to compile a 38-19 record for 67% winners. Normally, we will have three to four football plays per weekend. Basketball is different, as it is a daily sport with some days having a full card and other days having only two games. Sometimes, especially on days with small schedules, we will not have any active systems. Other days, we may have as many as three or four active systems. Typically, you can expect about one or two plays per day.

Are the plays rated?
This is one of the issues in sports betting that drives me crazy. Obviously, to be successful when wagering, the most important thing is to pick winners. However, there are a lot of players who have a quality winning percentage but still lose money. I know you've heard it before, but money management is critical. Although our system plays have good winning percentages, in my opinion, they still have a 50-50 chance of winning. Therefore, if you hit two out of three for 67%, you should always win money, right? There are a number of players that will play three games, one for say $200 and the other two games for $100. Their reasoning is that the one play is stronger than the others. However, if you win the two $100 wagers and lose the $200 wager, then how did you do on the day? You lost $20! It's never made sense to me to hit 67% of your wagers and lose money. The conclusion is that I strongly recommend you play all of the games for the same amount.

When are the plays released?
We run all of our football systems on Tuesdays. I let the lines stabilize and review the plays on Wednesdays. Then, I will either release the plays late Wednesday, or at the latest on Thursday by noon EST. For daily sports, like the NBA, plays are released each day by noon EST and on the weekends by 11:00am EST. New this season for football, we will be releasing additional plays on Friday based on line movements or new systems that may become active.

Are the College Bowl games included in the Football Systems Package?
No. We have a separate package for the College Football Bowls. Two seasons back, our first College Bowl season, we had a bowl package for $30 and released all of the plays on one day, early in the bowl season. This was a mistake, since we couldn't follow the line moves and didn't have enough time to fully research all of the games. That first season we were 1-4 ATS. However, I became a little wiser this last season, as we released all selections on game day throughout the entire bowl season. I also added some non-technical handicapping aspects, not just bowl systems, and it proved to be the correct move as the 2003-04 College Bowl Package was a very solid 9-4 ATS for 69% winners. Also, we donate a portion of the College Bowl Package proceeds to the Children Family Services Organization here in Cleveland, OH.

Are there System Clubs for all sports?
Currently, we have five system clubs: the Football Systems (College and NFL), the NBA systems, the College Bowl Systems, the March Madness Systems, and MLB Systems.

Why don't you do College Basketball?
I haven't been able to get a handle on College Basketball. In my opinion, there is so much emotion in College Basketball that it's very difficult to use true technical systems. I'm a very diligent handicapper, and I like to look at all the games. In College Basketball, it's impossible to handicap every game due to the tremendous amount of games on the card. Over the past two seasons, I have been following College Hoops more closely, and I'm attempting to develop systems that can successfully win over time.

Have you ever had losing seasons?
Yes. Baseball has been tough for us, and last year our March Madness Package was one game under .500. However, I'm currently in the process of revamping our selection process as we did in the College Bowl package. Also, we were under .500 in our first NBA Super System Club season four years ago. However, since we've had outstanding NBA seasons.

Are the plays documented?
All of our plays are posted on the website. Here at Vegas Experts we provide the results win or lose. Our customers are the best monitors!

What exactly is a "System"?
A system is a set of logical parameters that over time provides consistent winning results. Systems are NOT trends. The difference is that systems are league based, while trends normally relate to a specific team. More importantly, the systems must be logical. You can do what I call "back fit" numbers to make them come out to a high winning percentage, but if they don't make sense, then they will begin to lose. An example of illogical parameters are "favorites of 4.5 to 7 points." Why isn't 4 points or 7.5 points used in the study? Most likely, the system begins to fall apart with those numbers included.

How do I receive the selections?
Our selections are posted on the site daily, usually by 11:00am EST, and can be accessed with a user ID and a password. If you don't have access to a computer, you can call our Customer Service Department and one of our representatives will give you the plays verbally.

If I have additional questions or comments, who do I contact?
You can call the Customer Service Department at 888-881-8342 and speak with one of our representatives. Also, Tom is available if you would like to speak to him directly, or you can contact him via email at tomg@vegasexperts.com.
