BIG AL's NBA DIVISION GAME OF THE MONTH!: Al McMordie CASHED his NBA Central Division Game of the Year Friday when Milwaukee ROUTED the Pistons, 113-97, as 5-point favorites. If you enjoyed that BLOWOUT WINNER, then you'll love Al's NBA Division Game of the Month which goes today, as it will be another WIRE-TO-WIRE ROUT. Get on it.

Game: Memphis Grizzlies at New Orleans Pelicans Apr 15 2012 7:05PM
Prediction: Memphis Grizzlies
Grade: Loser (-110)
Reason: At 7:05 pm, our selection is on the Memphis Grizzlies minus the points over New Orleans. The Hornets upset Utah Friday, 96-85, as 4-point dogs, and that followed a nine-point win at home vs. Sacramento on Wednesday. Still, the Hornets have only won 17 games on the season (against 42 losses), and teams playing less than .300 basketball are a poor 57-80 ATS at home off back to back wins! That doesn't bode well for the Hornets tonight. And neither does the fact that Memphis is in a dogfight with the Lakers and Clippers for the 3rd seed in the Western Conference. Memphis has won 10 of its last 13 games (8-5 ATS), and -- with an easy finishing schedule -- it also knows that tonight's game will be the last time it is not heavily favored to win. Provided Memphis can win tonight, it should be able to reel off eight straight wins to end this season and possibly overtake the Lakers for the all-important #3 seed. Yesterday, Memphis got its best perimeter defender, Tony Allen, back in the lineup after he missed five games due to a facial laceration, and Allen will no doubt be assigned to guard the Hornets' top offensive threat, Eric Gordon, tonight. Memphis also has a ton of size, inside, with Marc Gasol, Marreese Speights and Zach Randolph to counter New Orleans' second-best offensive weapon in Chris Kaman, so I just can't see the Hornets being able to keep up with the Grizzlies, offensively, throughout this game. Lay the points with Memphis. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.
