Sam Martin's 20* MLB RUNLINE DOMINATOR (5-0 RUN)!!: The Whiz Kid's 6-2 RUNLINE WINNER ON TEXAS YESTERDAY (+115) was just part of Sam's PERFECT 3-0 SATURDAY, and now perfect in his last two days (5-0 overall) Sam returns on Sunday afternoon with another 20* MLB RUNLINE DOMINATOR!! Find out which team WINS BIG AGAIN!!
Game: Texas Rangers (r) at Minnesota Twins (r) Apr 15 2012 2:10PM
Prediction: Texas Rangers (r)
Grade: Push (0)
Reason: 20* Runline Play on Texas (-1.5 Runs). We backed Texas on the runline yesterday as we felt the Rangers had huge advantages both on the mound and at the plate, and the Rangers came through for us with an easy 6-2 win. We'll back them once again laying the run and a half as this pitching matchup of Feliz vs. Hendricks presents a similar advantage, and we again look for the Rangers to win this one comfortably.
The Rangers face young Liam Hendricks here today, who will be making his first start of the season after missing his first scheduled start with food poisoning. And while Hendricks has only made four major league starts in his career, we're not at all impressed as he went just 0-2 (1-3 team start record) while accruing an ERA north of six despite playing weaker offenses (Cleveland, Kansas City, Seattle).
Texas will counter with closer-turned-starter Neftali Feliz, and so far the experiment is working as Feliz shut down Seattle to just four hits in seven shutout innings. He should have another good outing here today against a Twins offense that has been held to two runs or less in six of their eight games this season, including both games in this series. And while Minnesota isn't scoring, they haven't been holding teams either as seven of their eight games saw their opponents score at least four runs. That's a bad combination and we look for the Rangers to win this game comfortably in the sweep! 20* Runline Play on Texas (-1.5 Runs).
