Guaranteed Pick: Lenny Del Genio

Lenny D's FAMOUS NBA Trifecta *Only $20*: It doesn't seem that long ago that former linesmaker Lenny Del Genio had cashed 11 straight NBA Trifectas & was on a 17-4 Totals Run. However, the last 2 wks have seen the "bottom drop out" as Lenny is mired in one of the worst NBA slumps of his career. He did win his NIT GOY yday (Stanford) & is on an 8-1 CBB Run!

Game: Chicago Bulls at Atlanta Hawks Mar 28 2012 7:35PM
Prediction: Chicago Bulls
Grade: Winner (100)
Reason: Play on Chicago at 7:35 ET. The Bulls are still favored without Derrick Rose. Not worried. They had been playing just fine without him before Monday's home loss to Denver having won four straight and seven of eight. The Nuggets shot 51.9% from the floor, which was the best performance by a Chicago opponent in more than two months. Dont look for Atlanta to match that kind of efficiency, particularly when playing for a fifth time in six nights. We took the Hawks in their 4OT win over Utah Sunday evening, a win they followed up by losing last night in Milwaukee 108-101. Even at home this is a brutal scheduling spot for the Hawks. Twice this season Chicago has held Atlanta below 80 points. The Hawks had some major turnover issues last night, 10 in the first quarter and 22 for the game. The Bulls have not lost back to back games this season, going an impressive 7-3 ATS off a SU loss. They failed by a half point in one of those ATS losses and were a double digit favorite in the other two. Take Chicago.

Game: Phoenix Suns at Los Angeles Clippers Mar 28 2012 10:35PM
Prediction: Phoenix Suns
Grade: Loser (-110)
Reason: Play on Phoenix at 10:35 ET. The Clippers have become overrated and BB victories over Memphis and New Orleans isn't enough for us to come off that opinion. These teams met earlier this month with Phoenix winning in Staples Center 91-87 despite missing BOTH PG Steve Nash and F Grant Hill and the fact they fell behind 29-17 in the opening quarter. Hill won't play here, but Nash will. And who needs Grant Hill, anyway? Shannon Brown scored a career-high 21 pts in his place against the Clippers last time and surpassed that scoring output last night vs. San Antonio (32). This is a hot Phoenix team right now, despite yday's loss, as they have won six of nine while going 7-2 ATS. Still not buying Vinny Del Negro as the long term solution at head coach for the Clippers. The Suns are 12-4 ATS overall in the month of March. Take Phoenix.

Game: Utah Jazz at Boston Celtics Mar 28 2012 7:35PM
Prediction: Utah Jazz
Grade: Loser (-110)
Reason: Play on Utah at 7:35 ET. The Jazz are the hottest team in the Western Conference right now and apparantly not even a rough scheduling stretch can stop them. We learned this the hard way on Monday night with an admittedly bad call on the Nets, who played like the team in its fourth game in five nights, which was the scenario Utah was facing. The Jazz led by as many as 22 before allowing New Jersey back in the game, but a surprising fourth quarter run put things away. Tonight, the team is in Boston. A fifth game in seven nights should not be a bother considering Utah's 8-1 ATS mark in that role this season. They are also 22-9 ATS off a SU dog win, so there's no letdown factor with this group either. Overall, the Jazz have gone 7-1 SU/6-2 ATS the last eight games to climb into seventh place in the West and incredibly are just 1.5 games away from having home court advantage for a first round playoff series. Take the points here as Boston was 2-9 ATS when laying more than three points prior to wins over lousy Charlotte and Washington Sunday/Monday. Take Utah.
