Game: Florida at Georgia Feb 25 2012 4:00PM
Grade: Loser (-110)
Reason: 25* graded play on Florida as they take on Georgia set to start at 4:00 PM ET and will be televised by ESPN3. My proprietary sports handicapping database and simulator shows a high probability that Florida will win this game by 10 or more points. Florida has significant advantages in nearly all major statistical categories. Moreover, they are fighting for second place in the SEC with Vanderbilt right on their heels so there is no reason to expect a letdown. Kentucky has a strangle hold on the Top seed for the SEC Tournament and are deserving of their top billing nationally. However, Florida is a sleeping giant my opinion and they are getting better and will peak at the right time. Florida has major advantages in scoring offense, point differentials, assists per game, total rebounds per game, and turnovers. Georgia is the 211th ranked rebounding team in the nation averaging just 33.4 boards per game. Florida will dominate both ends of the floor and will have at least eight more second chance scoring opportunities than Georgia. Florida is an excellent ball handling team ranking 29th in the nation averaging 11.4 per game. The sim shows a very high probability that Florida will have fewer than 13 turnovers in this game. Note that Florida is 9-1 ATS in road games when they commit 10 to 13 turnovers in a game over the last two seasons. Take the Florida Gators.
