Larry Ness has been a major figure in the sports betting and handicapping field since 1984. With the opening of the 2007 football season, Larry enters his 24th year "in the business." Larry became an original panel member of Proline in 1985, the nation's longest-running pre-game handicapping show (USA TV Network). In 2000, Larry joined the panel of yet another high-profile handicapping show, The Winning Edge... read more

   Larry's Guaranteed Selections

MLB
  Larry Ness' 15* AL Game of the Week (19-8 s/Apr 7) $35.00
Larry went 121-50 with his 15* GOW plays during MLB '07 and while he's got a long way to go to match that record in '08, he's "giving it a go." After a 2-3 1st week with his GOW plays, Larry's now 19-8 with his GOW plays since Apr 7! His "assault on the moneyline" continues tonight with his 15* AL Game of the Week. Any takers?
Larry Ness' Weekly Wipeout Winner-MLB (4-0 run!) $35.00
Larry's on a 17-7 all sports run the L7 days, including a 4-0 mark with his Wipeout Winners (2-0 in MLB/2-0 in the NBA). His Weekly Wipeout Winner last night on the Spurs upped his BKB run to 28-14 since Feb 1 and while he's switching sports tonight, expect the same result. When Larry says W-I-P-E-O-U-T, you want an invite to the party. RSVP now!
NBA
Larry Ness' Las Vegas Insider (81.8% playoff run!) $35.00
Larry won his 20* 1st Rnd Western Conf GOY win on Houston over Utah (95-69) back on April 29 and has now won NINE of his L11 playoff releases (81.8 percent!). Larry and his "unmatched" contacts have combined for THREE straight playoff wins and make it four in a row, tonight. "It pays to be on the inside with Larry." Want in?

NBA: Playoff Notebook
The series voted "most likely to be a four-game sweep" (Atlanta/Boston), turned out to be the only first round series to go the full seven games. The Celtics, who set a league record for the biggest single-season turnaround this year (won 66 games after winning just 24 games the previous season), needed all seven games to eliminate the Hawks, who won just 37 games this season, while ending the longest active playoff drought in the NBA (last appeared in the postseason back ... NBA: To Trade or Not To Trade

As most people around the league will say, the Lakers 'stole' Pau Gasol from the Grizzlies in February (others would say the Grizzlies handed Gasol to them) but either way, the "Gasol trade" sent shock waves through the league, particularly in the tightly-contested West. However, before commenting on the Gasol trade, one has to begin with what the Celtics did last off-season. Kevin Garnett had patiently waited in Minnesota as the 'face' of the franchise for 12 seasons. Beginning in his fourth year (1998-99), he averaged at least 20 points and 10 rebounds per game for nine consecutive ... (read more)
MLB Is Back!

In 1960, Joe Garagiola wrote a book entitled, "Baseball is a Funny Game." I'm writing this on April Fool's Day and I'm not so sure baseball is so funny anymore. The wonderful thing about MLB was always its history, told in simple numbers. One didn't need to be told what 60' 6" represented or 90-feet, either. The numbers 56, 60, 61* and 714 were seared into every fans mind. However, MLB is a different game these days. Growing up in the 1960s, I couldn't wait for MLB annuals like Street and ...
