First place in the Southeast Division is on the line tonight in Orlando as the second place Magic host the first place Hawks. You read that right. By virtue of owning the NBA's best pointspread record, Atlanta has surged past not only Orlando, but Boston as well, to pull into second place behind Cleveland in the Eastern Conference. The Hawks beat the Celtics last night, sweeping the season series, now they must look for a reversal of fortunes against the Magic.

Orlando is 2-0 SU/ATS vs. Atlanta this season and trails them by just one-half game in the division race. They come in as the five-point favorite at BetUS Sportsbook. In the two previous matchups, they have won 113-81 and 93-76, covering easily both times. Overall, the Magic have beaten the Hawks five straight times and have held them to just 39% shooting in the last two games.

Orlando is also coming off a win over Boston, 96-94, on Thursday night. Unfortunately for them, they did not cover as 3.5-point favorites. But it was the team's fourth consecutive home victory and snapped a four-game losing streak against teams with a winning record.

But they have struggled against Dwight Howard, who before a 12 and 7 output in the team's last meeting on January 9th, was averaging 20.5 PPG and 17.3 RPG vs. the Hawks.

The Magic's last two wins over the Hawks have come by an average of 33 PPG.

The Hawks have won nine of their last 12, including three wins over Boston. They have also beaten Houston and Phoenix during this stretch. They are 30-15 ATS overall this season, but just 13-8 vs. the number away from home.
