Points should be aplenty in the second game of tonight’s TNT Doubleheader when the Denver Nuggets host the Los Angeles Clippers. The visitors have gone Over in six straight games while the home team is on a 3-0 Over run. Both teams are riding pronounced win streaks, but of a different variety. The Nuggets have won four in a row straight up while the Clippers have covered the spread in three straight and 10 of 12.

The tables are likely to turn on Thursday, however, as the Nuggets have won 18 of 21 games at the Pepsi Center this year, the second best home mark in the league, including five straight. Los Angeles will be looking to avoid its eighth straight loss on the road where they are just 5-13 SU overall this season. They have lost five straight times in Denver and are 0-7 ATS on the road this season when coming off an Over.

Both teams won last night; the Clippers 101-94 over the Bulls while the Nuggets won an overtime thriller in Golden State. Chris Kaman scored 20+ points for the 14th time in 15 games last night, leading the way for the Clippers. For Denver, it was Chauncey Billups scoring 10 in the overtime session en route to matching a career-high 37 points.

With Billups in the lineup, the Nuggets are 18-1 at home. They average 113.1 PPG on their own floor, 11.1 PPG more than they average on the road. This could be a problem for the Clippers, who are yielding 113 PPG on better than 50% shooting their last five road games. They are also 2-16 SU when allowing 100+ points this season.

Denver is 13-2 ATS this season when laying between 6.5 and 9 points at home.
