The San Antonio Spurs have struggled on the road this year and have also struggled when facing teams with a winning record. Monday afternoon, they'll be at the 21-18 New Orleans Hornets, winners of seven straight home games. The Spurs are one-point favorites at BetUS Sportsbook as they look to avoid their third three-game losing streak of the season.

Last year, San Antonio started the season at 0-3, but would not lose three straight games the rest of the year. They enter this game off back-to-back road losses to Charlotte and Memphis where they averaged just 81 points per game. They are just 7-9 SU and ATS away from Alamo this season. This will be the finale of a four-game road swing that began with a one-point win in Oklahoma City.

As we've noted before, New Orleans is a totally different team at home compared to on the road. They are 15-3 SU on their own floor this season vs. a 6-15 road record. They've played exceptionally well here of late, winning seven straight with six of those victories coming by single digits. The exception to that came in their previous home contest, a 108-94 win and cover over the Clippers on Wednesday. Since that time, the Hornets have alternated a loss and a win, falling at Detroit in overtime, then coming back to beat Indiana on Saturday.

New Orleans has done particularly well at home against division opponents, going 9-1 ATS in that role.

They are also 24-8 ATS playing at home with revenge, which they have here as they fell to the Spurs in San Antonio, 113-96, in the season's first meeting. The Hornets are 6-2 SU/ATS the last eight times they've hosted Greg Popovich's team, however.
