Tampa Bay has been a good

Unfortunately, the Rays lost the first two games of that series. They enter a new week of baseball betting 9.5 games behind first place Boston and 6.5 games behind the Yankees in the Wild Card chase.
The Rays will go with Jeremy Hellickson tonight on the mound. He looks to win a third straight start after losing his previous four. In 17 starts this season, Hellickson has an impressive 3.17 ERA yet the team has only a 9-8 record in those games. The young righty has faced Oakland just once in his career – last season – and did not receive a decision in the team’s 5-4 loss.

Tampa Bay has not won back to back games since July 6th and 7th and will have to overcome its past woes here in Oakland. They are just 18-43 all-time by the Bay, but 10-9 since the start of the 2007 season.
After losing two of three to the Yankees over the weekend, Oakland is opening up a seven-game home stand. They did hit surprisingly well vs. New York, but also gave up 17 runs in one of the two losses.
Like Hellickson, Oakland starter Guillermo Moscoso has pitched well this season, but does not have much of a record to show for it. He has a 2.96 ERA in nine starts, but his team start record is just 4-5. Moscoso is off perhaps his worst outing of the year where he gave up six runs in a loss at Detroit. He has pitched better at home this year with a 1.99 ERA in four outings.
Traditionally, Tampa Bay is a solid team to bet Under the total. However, not after allowing 1 run or less in their previous game, going 16-5 Over in that situation this season.
