NBA News and Notes: 2/13
by Tom Freese
Tom Freese continues to
dominate the NBA as he is on a 132-76 ATS RUN going back to last year. After a slow start
in College Hoops, Tom his geared up for the same kind of finish he had last year cashing 65% ATS
from February 15 through March Madness. Join Tom everyday at Vegas Experts for winning basketball
picks and winning hockey picks.
There are only eight NBA players who are averaging double digit rebounds per game. Orlando's Dwight Howard is on his way to finishing first in rebounds getting 14.1 rebounds a game. Chris Paul of New Orleans and Deron Williams of Utah are the only two players averaging double figure assists. Paul leads the league in assists with 10.5 dimes a game.
It looks like the Celtics and the Lakers are on their way to another meeting in the NBA Finals this year. Cleveland has a shot to go deep into the playoffs despite the fact that they rely too much on King James. San Antonio appears to turning back father time leading the Southwest Division, clearly the best Division in the NBA with four of the five teams playing .600 or better basketball.
Double digit NBA favorites are 63-63-2 ATS this year and double digit NBA favorites are 69-59 OVER this year.
A team that is on the rise is Philadelphia. The Sixers fired head coach Mo Cheeks on December 16th and replaced him with Tony DiLeo. Under DiLeo, the Sixers play a fast paced game that fits the skill sets of their athletic players. I say the Sixers are a lock to make the NBA playoffs.
