A common theme in CFL football betting this year has been the home teams dominating the sportsbooks. When taking a home team this season straight up, football wagerers have cashed in 35 of 56 times. The top CFL football betting moneyline teams are Saskatchewan Roughriders, Calgary Stampeders and Montreal Alouettes all are 6-1 on the season. The latter two have the top records in the CFL as they are both 10-4 in 2010. Against the spread has been more of the same as home teams are 32-24 this season. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Calgary and Montreal are all tops in CFL betting with wins against the spread at home with 5-2 marks. The 5-9 British Columbia Lions are the only team in the CFL with a better road record than home record at 3-4.

There has been a lot of parity in the CFL as well this season. The East and West Divisions have a combined identical record of 28-28. The East however has done a little better against the number going 29-27. Speaking of parity, CFL betting totals are 27-27-2 this season. Calgary is the top over team as they have stayed over the total nine times with four unders and a push. The best under team has been the Toronto Argonauts who have gone under in nine of 14 games.

Let’s take a look at the East Division. Once again the returning Grey Cup champion Montreal Alouettes are on top of the division with a 10-4 record. Then both the Toronto Argonauts and Hamilton Tiger-Cats are locked up with 7-7 records. The Argos are likely going to the playoffs for the first time since 2007. Holding down the bottom of the East are the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Last year the West Division sent all four teams to the playoffs. This year probably that is not going to happen. The West has two clear top teams in the 10-4 Calgary Stampeders and the 9-5 reigning West Division champion Saskatchewan Roughriders. The BC Lions are third with a 5-9 mark followed closely behind by the 4-10 Edmonton Eskimos. Currently at Bodog sportsbook both Montreal and Calgary have the highest odds to win the Grey Cup at 8/5.
