The Chicago Bulls are taking on the Atlanta Hawks again on Thursday at 8:05 EST and they have the chance to end the series in six games.

The Bulls had a tough outright loss in the first game of the series, losing 103-95 as 8.5 point favorites but then came with back to back huge wins both straight up and against the spread. They won Game 2 86-73 as 8.5 point home favorites then in Game 3, which was in Atlanta, they won 99-82 as small 2.5 point favorites. Atlanta came back in Game 4 with a very strong 100-88 point win over the Bulls as 3.5 point home dogs but could not get it done on the road in Game 5, losing 95-83 as 8.5 point dogs.

Chicago has been having a great season at the betting window with a 54-37 ATS season record. That’s 17 games over .500. They are 27-18 ATS on the road and they are right at .500 in the playoffs with a 5-5 ATS overall record. Atlanta, on the other hand, is five games under .500 this season with a 44-49 ATS record and they are six games under .500 at home (20-26 ATS). In the postseason, Atlanta is 7-4 ATS.

The Bulls are 20-9 ATS when coming off a home win by ten points or more over the last two seasons and they are 27-13 ATS off a home win this season. Atlanta is only 4-17 ATS in the second round of the playoffs, but they are 23-11 ATS when playing at home against Central Division opponents.

The books have the total set at 179 points and the Under could be a strong possibility since Chicago is not only 22-10 UNDER after allowing only 85 points or less but they are 53-39 UNDER in all games this season. Atlanta has also been going under the total with regularity this season with a 55-38 UNDER record. They are 19-6 UNDER as a home underdog and they are 30-18 UNDER after they failed to cover the spread.

The books know this is going to be a close matchup as they have set the line with Chicago laying just 3.5 points. Is this just a trick or will the Bulls end the series in Game Six with another huge cover?
