The Dodgers look to beat the Padres again.
Manny Not Being Manny
On the eve of the 4th of July, Manny Ramirez returned to the Los Angeles Dodgers lineup but there were no fireworks. Fresh off a 50-game suspension, Manny went 0 for 3 as his team still beat the San Diego Padres 6-3 on Friday. It was their eighth win in 11 tries vs. San Diego this season. LA continues to excel as a favorite, posting a 34-15 record in that role. The Padres, losers of three straight, have scored just six runs during the losing streak and will be a considerable underdog here. The Dodgers aren't exactly playing their best ball either right now as last night's win marked the first time the club had won back-to-back games since June 23rd.
